  Nir wrangles a team of very professional contractors. They did extensive roofing for us and water-damaged wall and flooring repairs with attendant painting. They also replaced a very old and worn out back fence and gate with one that perfectly matches our fencing and works flawlessly and is much more stable than the old fence. Highly recommended.

  The service we got was above and beyond! I usually do not write that many reviews, but only do for those deserving the very best. We were having problems with a neighbor upstairs. It got so bad that our ceiling was leaking and it looked like torrential rain was coming down from a leak. The property manager came in and said "nothing was wrong." We decided to get a second opinion. We are glad that we got that opinion from Absolute Maintenance. They thoroughly inspected the issue. They gave their honest opinion on the issue of mold and health concerns. What's more they were upfront on what was needed, what should be done, and what was necessary. They were very clear and honest! Mr. Figgins was extremely knowledgeable and shared valuable information. I would highly recommend them!

  When I realized that my hardwood flooring was rippling on the opposite side of the wall to my front door entry, I called Cameron out for an evaluation and estimate. He confirmed my assessment that the landing was not properly graded toward the drain and that during rain the pooling water was leaking from the landing through the junction with the wall and into the living room. His crew came out in a timely fashion and very professionally completed the work listed above in a few days time. Their work appears to be very high quality, the new brick matches the old brick quite well and the stucco matches much better than an apparent prior attempt at a fix before we bought the house.
  A few weeks later we had a heavy rain and the work done appeared to be holding up well, with water actually going down the drain instead of pooling against the house. However, a new leak appeared in the roof of our garage, which is just below and adjacent to the landing area where the work was done! I called Cameron in a panic, and despite the fact that they were completely swamped with calls due to the heavy rain, he got his crew back out to assess the cause of the leak. They found a hole in the roof above the area where the prior work had been done and the the water was coming all the way through the wall and down into the garage. They were able to repair the roof that afternoon, with no extra charge.

I had to push back the work a couple of times due to delay in closing on the condo and Larry was very understanding and flexible with rescheduling. They were given 3 days to complete the job. Larry's crew showed up in the morning and finished the job in ONE day! All Clear Environmental Inc was punctual, professional, and reasonably priced, I highly recommend them!

  Well the selling agent didn't tell us the water and the electricity was turned off so we couldn't get a full report.  But George found so many things in his partial report we may not buy the house.
  George showed up on time, unlike me.  He started the exterior and explained what he did while I was late.  He explains everything in details right there for you if you have any questions.  He will give you an honest opinion when he is asked.  He is the inspector you would want in buying a house but you wouldn't want him showing up at your door step if you are the one selling unless you use him to inspector your house before selling it so you can make the repairs and adjustments
  I will always use George in the future as we did use him already several times in the past and learned the hard way when we did not use George this once (out of town) and ended up buying a house with major problems the other guy didn't catch.  We brought George back to the house and George found so many MAJOR things the other inspector did not see or catch that we wouldn't have bought the house if George was the inspector.  
  So hire the best!  There is no price on inspections when it's done by someone with experience and details such as him.  You will know more about the house then if you lived in it.

  I've used him other times in the past and I will not use anyone else and will not buy a house without him.  Remember, the cheap comes out expensive, George's prices are fair for the amount of money you are going to pay for a house.  You won't be sorry.  We didn't buy a house because of all the unforeseen problems he found that the owners did not mention/disclose and there is a lot of that going on from sellers who just want to unload their problems without a word to you.  Remember protect yourself because you have "NO" recourse.   I was late but George was on time and started the exterior and he explained what he had started when I got there.  He has inspected couple of other homes for us and we bought them.  If we sell we know what needs to be done ahead of time.   He does excellent work, explains everything if needed. George is not fast in his inspections, it could be an all day event depending on the size of the house but he is far worth it.
  We learned our lesson not using George once, never again!!

  Multiple problems from start to finish!  Extremely unpleasant experience.  Project took at least 3 times longer than promised; this was due to poor organization and coordination.  Contractors made several errors and were then reluctant and slow to fix them.

  We just purchased our first home and found out we probably had lead paint in the home due to the age of the house (built in 1930). We are planning a major renovation, but since lead must be handled more carefully, we felt we needed an independent lead assessment. I found Frank on Angie's list. He was able to meet us right away and was very communicative over email, which I appreciate these days. He offered different levels of inspection, with varying prices. We decided to go with the least expensive, which basically consists of Frank going through the house with a very high-tech laser gun that reads the lead levels on various surfaces. I followed him through the house writing everything down. He provided the paper, which was already divided into the proper columns, etc. He did nearly 400 readings, so you can imagine it was a lot of writing and moving about, but we found out where the lead was and in what concentrations. My only negative comment is that in several areas the gun gave different readings for the same surface, so now we are left guessing a little about the actual presence of lead (and its levels) in those areas. It was only a few spots though, so we're just treating it like there is lead there to be safe. All in all, it was a good experience and I would definitely recommend Frank and Aardvark.

  I just brought a house that's built in 1968 and in the process of an extensive interior renovation. Many of the rooms in the house have popcorn ceiling. My husband and I don't like the old fashioned look of it and want to replace it with nice smooth ceilings. We had no idea that popcorn ceilings may contain asbestos so gave the contractors permission to start getting rid of the stuff. Imagine my shock and horror when the seller popped by one day and recommended that we get it checked out for asbestos. As some of the popcorn ceiling has already been removed, I was afraid that the house may already be contaminated so frantically looked for someone to get it tested. That same night, I went on Angie's List and found several asbestos testing companies. I emailed all of them to inquire about their services and costs. Frank Najafi from Aardvark Property Hazard Analysis was the first to call me back the next morning. He was so polite and professional. He explained the process and cost and told me he could come out right away. Although I also go quotes from the other companies, I felt more comfortable with Frank and decided to go with him. I'm glad I did! The whole process was a breeze. Frank came to my house at the agreed upon time and took three samples of the ceiling from different areas of the house. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to talk to. I couldn've have picked a better person to help me through this process. He indicated that the material would be sent to the lab the same day and I would get the results the following day. He will email me the invoice as well as the lab results. Sure enough, I got the results the next afternoon. Thank goodness no asbestos was detected in the samples. I highly recommend Frank Najafi at Aardvark if you need asbestos testing (or other types of hazardous materials testing as I think he does those too).
