    Lavo Facilities
Oval was prompt in communications, polite, knowledgeable and dedicated to resolving issue in an effective manner. The first attempt did not resolve the leak, so he rushed back, looked further into the leak and quickly resolved it... for good!! Payment was easy through PayPal. He does all sorts of handyman work, so I'm keeping his number on speed dial!

    Isaac handyman services
Isaac was ON TIME and carried out everything we discussed. He was incredibly easy to work with and always had a sure attitude which made a stressful time less stressful. As remodeling work goes, there are follow up things that needed to be done or were missed but Isaac was prompt in responding and took care of it immediately. He is fast and very, very sweet natured. I highly recommend him. He painted and refinished the floors. He also reframed the baseboards in the closets. He changed out the electrical outlet in the kitchen which kept triggering the circuit breaker. I thought I would need to install a new box but he said all the outlet needed was a new something or another and fixed it quickly. He also threw in installing my 3 smoke detectors. He really is very sweet and gracious (and on time!!).

    Brius Maintenance Services
    1) he bought a T connector (which was needed) but then used a small lumen tube to connect to refrigerator instead of the special hose I bought from the manufacturer. Now it makes noise. 2) the toilet still leaks 3) the drain cover still does not drop down over the drain at the end of the flush 4) DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

A Handy Man in Santa Monica
It went great. Hein was super responsive (at our house within 24 hours), patient, and he installed the fixtures quickly and professionally. I would definitely hire him again for future work. Nice guy too. A+

Mr. Handyman serving West Los Angeles
I was looking to have drywall repaired, and rotting door frame fixed and some caulking around the tub redone. I submitted a detailed explanation of the projects through their website, and received an email saying that somebody would call me to discuss the job and pricing and set up an appointment. Over a month went by, and I never heard back. Considering Mr. Handyman's claims that it values service above all and justify its higher prices as a result of their office staff and great customer service, I was disappointed. Contacting them was a waste of time.

    Jeff Richards Handyman
Jeff Richards is an amazing handyman. He is incredibly skilled and has saved us thousands of dollars over the years we?ve used him.
I?ll just mention one example of Jeff?s work. We had new roof put in about 15 years ago. After about a while there was a soft, wet spot in the drywall of our bathroom?where a wall met the ceiling. Things got worse and about 5 years ago we started calling roofing contractors to see what could be done about it. They all said that we needed an entirely new roof and that it would cost around $10,000. Finally, we called Jeff. He came highly recommended by some friends of ours who have used him for years. Jeff comes in, hears what everyone else has said and told us to wait a little bit while he looks for the source of the leak. He finds the source. It turns out, the leak wasn?t coming from the roof at all, it came from the wall right below the place where the flat roof drained. $350 later, our problem was fixed. If we had hired the roofing contractors, we would have been out $10,000+ and the problem still wouldn?t have been fixed.
Jeff's expertise has saved us a bucketload of money. His work is top notch. He is a superb painter as well. For example, we didn?t like the tile in our bathroom and he used this paint we?d never heard of?Breakthrough?that is almost as good as enamel but is not toxic because it is water-based and painted the tile instead. It looks really good. And he refinished my Dad?s beat up old desk so that it looks great. And he has done a whole lot more for us.
Also, he is a great guy who you will enjoy getting to know.

    Handy Hands Inc
Once we coordinated the date and time, Miles was there early and took care of everything in about 2 hours.
He was very nice and professional and I would call him again for any other home repairs we may need in the future.

Mr. Handyman serving West Los Angeles
Luis arrived early was incredibly efficient and kind.  Solved problems and got things done in a VERY timely and efficient manner.  We evaluated my shower where grout was pitted and to avoid doing a re-grout (and an unnecessary expense) he suggested sealing the grout around the interior base walls.  Brilliant!
I had been putting off getting all these jobs done for fear of costs - but even though this company is a bit higher priced - Luis was quick and focused on getting it done.  David the owner was thorough and listened to it all when I first called him and happily ALL the work was done in less time - so the price was less scary - especially when the work got done so well.  I would call them again.

    The Electric Connection
Quick response to initial contact, on time, worked very quickly, cleaned everything up, very friendly.  Only hitch was that as posted, the "deal" was for one detector, and listed a separate (discounted) price for a second unit.  I requested the second unit when I made the appointment.  The technician wanted to charge me double the price (ie, full charge for two installations)  When I proved to him the lower price for a second unit is what was listed on the website, he called into his office and they said it was a mistake on the Angie's List listing, but did honor the price.

    Hang It Right
Ron Goodman is a treasure! We called him on Saturday afternoon after realizing that we needed a professional to hang our newly framed art pieces -- and the holidays were upon us, so we had little hope of finding someone. He answered the phone immediately and scheduled us for the next day -- Sunday afternoon. He arrived on time, was professional and also congenial, and instinctually knew the best way to hang our art. He was 100% correct in his choices, although he definitely enlisted our approvals before hanging anything. His choices were unique, which delighted us. His method of hanging assured us that nothing would fall off the walls in the event of a moderate earthquake. He hung all seven pieces in an hour! We're thrilled! No more empty walls! Ron is very personable and ethical. There's no reason for us to look elsewhere ever again. Can't wait to work with him on the next project.
