    Apex Gate Works Co.
I would recommend Apex Gate Works. Alex was very responsive from my first call. He kept me informed of the timing of my project, and completed the work within a few days. Knowing I was out of town at the time, he sent pictures of the work as it was in process, and once complete. His invoice and payment process was very simple.

    Isaac's Ironworks Inc
The folks from Isaacs Ironworks were on time to survey the area, find out what I needed. They then sent me an estimate. It was the best i received, so I let them know. Isaac met with me, took exact measurements, and a couple of weeks later, the gate was installed. It was exactly as ordered. I highly recommend them, and I am hard to please.

    Vinyl Fence Depot
It went amazing.  They were very professional and very neat.  I realize I am writing about 5 1/2 yrs after but I recently had
to call them back as someone sat on one of the rails and it broke.  The salesman, Jack Kbjian was very understanding
and was able to order a new rail and one of his men installed it for me.  I am very, very pleased with their service.

Mr. Handyman serving West Los Angeles
Luis arrived early was incredibly efficient and kind.  Solved problems and got things done in a VERY timely and efficient manner.  We evaluated my shower where grout was pitted and to avoid doing a re-grout (and an unnecessary expense) he suggested sealing the grout around the interior base walls.  Brilliant!
I had been putting off getting all these jobs done for fear of costs - but even though this company is a bit higher priced - Luis was quick and focused on getting it done.  David the owner was thorough and listened to it all when I first called him and happily ALL the work was done in less time - so the price was less scary - especially when the work got done so well.  I would call them again.

    Kavin Construction Inc
Just to begin, I can't remember when Kavin replaced our gate.  When I logged into Angie's List, I couldn't believe I had forgotten to submit a review.  So I just entered a random date and amount because I just can't remember.  I do however remember that the estimate was great and we used them to replace a fence at one location and a gate at another.  They were quick and they cleaned up after themselves.  I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

    Precise Home Builders
Overall, we were very pleased with the workmanship, professionalism, speed and honesty we received from Moshe and Precise Home Builders.  I would highly recommend Moshe and Precise.  Moshe is a businessman and also a General Contractor.  You could tell he knew what he was talking about when he made his pitch.  I thought his presentation was excellent and his 3D rendered drawing of the kitchen sold us on the job.

His foreman Gabi was excellent and very polite and forthcoming with information.  The overall quality was excellent of the job.  The Kitchen and Wood Floors were the best.  The floors came out brilliant and the kitchen was beautiful.   They volunteered a bunch of extras when we needed it.  On a couple of occasions, we asked for something and needed to pay the difference.

During this job, there were several hiccups, but Precise corrected any issue that came up immediately.  Even several months after the completion of the project, on two separate occasions, they came back to correct a couple minor problems that came up at no extra charge.  They were at the house fixing the problem within a day or two of calling them on the problem.

One of the biggest things I really appreciated from Precise is that they allowed me to work without disturbing me.  I have a very busy schedule and they were able to accommodate my schedule and meet with me during my times off.  Sometimes, this would be in the morning before work and sometimes in the evening.  Another thing was they were able to complete the project ahead of schedule.  They had originally estimated around 8 weeks, but they completed the project in about 6 weeks.

A few of suggestions to the potential client:
    1. Make sure you know (have a general idea) of you want to do in your project before you meet with Moshe.  Or, if not before, within few days after you meet with him. Moshe will meet with you several times before they present their offer.  Write down a list of all the items you need or think you need and make sure it is on Precise?s bullet list of items before you start the project.  You may consider having someone else look at the list that has had previous construction work done.    Moshe will try to come up with a list of everything he thinks you need for your project, but it is up to you to add things that may have been left off or remove things you don?t want.  If not, this could result in a change order later on.  If you sign, you will have a few days to go over the list and add/remove items on their list.
    1. They move real fast, so be prepared to make a lot of the payments real fast.  In the first two weeks of the project, we had to make approximately 60% of the payments.
    1. Also, make sure you make all your selections (additional purchases/orders) shortly after you sign.  Order everything you need from your end within the first few days of the project.  Some large appliance may need to be special ordered and could take 2-3 weeks.  This also includes doors, and other things too.  You will need to move fast too to keep up with Precise.

    Iselt Handymen Services
he just shows up on time, ready to go, so have your list of stuff ready!  he brings his truck, tools, hardware, and incredible know how.  if he doesn't know how (which is incredibly rare) he figures it out quickly.  a pleasure to work with, diligent, polite.  can't say enough.

    California Vinyl Fence Co
I share part of a fence with a neighbor. The old wooden fence was termite ridden. The total cost of new vinyl fencing the length of my neighbor's property was $3,068. $428 was my cost for my portion of the fence. My neighbor, who did all the research and chose California Vinyl Fence, was completely satisfied with the six foot fence the company built.

    FALKON CONCRETE-MASONRY-PAVERS
Highly Recommended. This is so far the best experience we've had, and we went through a fair share of renovation projects which ranged from nightmarish (very often) to borderline ok (sometimes). Val, Falkon's contractor, and his team proved to us that you can still find HONEST AND RELIABLE contractors in Los Angeles area, and believe us we've given up a long time ago. Everything was top notch starting from customer service and ending with taking care of small things after the job. From the beginning, Val, Falkon's contractor, was courteous and fair with his pricing. We went through several revisions of the scope of the job and hence the pricing, and Val was extremely patient and went through every single detail of the project. I really liked the fact that not only Val was available via phone but he was also highly responsive via e-mail. It helped move things along: we were emailing each other comments, pictures of possible stones, lists of things that needed to be done. Then his crew came along. Confident, quiet and efficient. Everything is done by code and the best possible way. When they ran into problems they would present us with a list of possible solutions, let us decide and only then move along. (Most contractors we've dealt with cut corners and plowed along without notifying us of the choices made) Like I said, every single detail is discussed so there were no surprises. Val was involved in every decision, he was in constant communication with me and his foreman, Charlie, and he was on site EVERY SINGLE DAY. Go with these guys, you won't be disappointed. And Val and Charlie, you are THE ROCK STARS. Thank you for our beautiful patio and porch.

    CMRS Construction
One of the doors on our gate started to fall off, so we were considering extending our fence by 25 ft and moving the location of the gate. However, the quotes we received for this project were higher than we could afford, so we settled for replacing our gate. We preferred to have one large door rather than two, and the quote from Daryl seemed reasonable. They stained and installed the gate with a nice wheel on the bottom so that it rolls open smoothly. The one minor flaw was a hole created near the bottom of one plank where a screw missed the supporting beam, but it was hardly noticeable and not a big deal. When the job was done, I noticed that the gate post on one side was higher than the other, so Daryl came back to even them out. All in all, it worked out just as we needed and was completed on time. We've had really bad experiences with other contractors doing shoddy work, leaving a mess or taking forever to complete the job, so this was a refreshing experience.
