  • Family owned business. I spoke with one of the owners who scheduled the appointment. Tech repair person, Sergio, came on time(Rare in LA!!!), was pleasant, professional and most helpful. I would definitely use this company again.

  • They came and identified the problem and had to order the part. Part was ordered and installed the next day. Although it was a little pricy it still cost less than getting a new refrigerator although I probably should get a new one, LOL. All in all very satisfied.

  • Ilya quickly and thoroughly diagnosed the problem and gave us an estimate on the parts and labor to replace the hinges (alas nothing on a Wolf stove is inexpensive!). They ordered the parts from the manufacturer and put in the new parts soon after they arrived. Everything was prompt and professional. We've had them handle our appliance repairs before and will continue to be repeat customers the next time something needs servicing.

  • David texted me back within half an hour of my initial query, let me know what he guessed was the issue with our non-clothes-drying dryer, and came over to assess a few hours later, the same day!

    Even better, he was polite, kind and good to talk with, as he checked out the situation. He discovered that the issue wasn't what he had guessed--not actually a mechanical problem, but a vent/placement problem. He fixed it within minutes (dryer works perfectly, again), gave me tips on maintenance, and asked for way less than his original quote. 

    I feel like I have a new friend, who's just super-handy and knowledgeable about washer/dryers. If you need washer/dryer repair & live anywhere near David, call this dude. Seriously.

  • Very good on the phone during the initial contact.  Showed up on time.  Initially, Kevin was a little gruff but his demeanor improved.  Repairs were done professionally, timely, and so far we have had no problems.  I'd call them again.

  • Bait and switch? Provider lists deal on Angie's list for refrigerator compressor repair -- prepaid through Angie's list for $550. I purchased the service deal this morning and spoke with the providers' office this afternoon. They stated that they didn't know anything about a deal on Angie's--which is still listed as active on the Angie's list site as I write this. The provider refused to honor the deal I paid for, but they are happy to send a technician to my place for an "assessment."

  • They rapidly fit us into their schedule for the next day, and arrived as scheduled.  Polite, prompt, professional, and perhaps best of all, Vitaliy knew what he was doing!  (This seems to be exceptional in Los Angeles, where the online ratings of the service teams who fulfill the manufacturer's warranty service are notable for failing marks.) 
    He fixed the problem with a reboot of the controller, and gave us information on our options in case the unit failed again (i.e., we'd need to get a refurb'ed controller board vs replacing the entire unit).  The unit has been back in working order since their visit.
    We would clearly use Lerman Appliances again for this or other large appliance service needs in the future.

  • Walked in there last week while I was waiting for my car to be serviced down the street (at a Yelp recommended shop) and asked if he had a part for my 20 year old stove top. Murphy tapped at his computer and, a couple of key strokes later, there was the part on his screen. I'd been looking on line on and off for a year and a half and couldn't find it.

  • They were on time and professional. Actually they came twice. Once in February 2015 to clean the drain line and ice maker because it was leaking water inside the refrigerator. The second time they came in May 2015 they did the same thing but only charged me for a service call. I also took advantage of one of Angie's deals where I paid only 25 for a 50 dollar service call. Everything is working fine now and would certainly use them again.

  • Fred arrived on time as scheduled. He had a good attitude and was professional. He was through in explaining other issues that he noticed onsite. Unlike other plumbers I've worked with, he needed to spend a bit of time looking in his van for parts. He has good attention to detail and consulted with me on options that I had. Overrall, I would recommend him for another job. The job took about 1 hr and 45 mins, so I paid for 2 hours.
    The part about Moe's that I disliked was that I was overcharged for parts. For the two angle stops, I was charged $69.95. These angle stop retail for $14.95 each. Exact Model. I would have expected to pay $20 dollars each. Hopefully, this was a simple mistake and Moe will refund me the difference.
