    Maxi Serve Restoration & Construction
Maxi Serve were very professional from the first day. They came out and assessed the mold problem. They sent out a mold expert who then discovered the asbestos as well. They worked diligently until all the mold removed and gone permanently. They were always courteous and honest.

    Maxi Serve Restoration & Construction
I unfortunately had a roof leak that turned into a mold situation in my kitchen. I found Maxi Serve online because of all the positive reviews and connected with Roman who helped me through the process quickly and smoothly and was very communicative and professional from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Maxi Serve and Amy in the office was a true delight as well.

I can't believe how amazing my house remodel turned out. I'm most impressed with how they transformed my Mid Century home with modern updates while still keeping the original integrity of the home. The designers listened to me and my crazy wish list and needs, and came up with designs that took all my ideas to the next level. They took their time to work with me and make sure I would be 100% happy with every little detail and gave me tons of visual aids so I would have a good idea of what my home would look like before the construction even started. When we moved into the construction phase, they were complete professionals from beginning to end. They communicated with me regarding the schedule and if they foresaw any delays. I appreciated the honesty and hand-holding I received when I had questions, or anything unexpected came up. I have been in my house for a few months now, and everyday am grateful for my beautiful home and that I chose this company to make my dreams come true!

    Maxi Serve Restoration & Construction
Roman, Amy and their team gave us excellent service. Although one of the jobs turned out to be bigger than expected and therefore took longer, they did not ask for additional money and their technicians were there on time every day until the job was finished. I highly recommend them.

    Ford's Plumbing and Heating
I discovered I had a continuous flow issue, a leak somewhere in the pipes, from looking at my phone bill. Since we are in a drought there was a big fine for the water loss/usage. This had to be addressed ASAP by issue of the water company.
I set up an appointment on Friday, March 4 2016. The technician came out and I informed him of the urgency and problem. To his credit he was able to pinpoint the general area he thought was problematic. He wrote up an invoice and told me to call the office to set up an appointment for the following week.
I did so Monday morning, with Lizette, and she told they would get back to me later in the day with a time/schedule.
    I never heard from her.
I tried emailing and calling for the next several days.
No response. (they were quick to respond to the emails when they wanted my credit card info!!)
Finally on Thursday, and close to 550 gallons of water now leaked according to the water department, I got her on the phone. I asked what was going on? why hadn't she responded. She put me on hold and then told me the technician who assessed the problem was on vacation!!!! He wouldn't be back until the following week.
There was no mention of this by the technician at the time of assessment and he said he could be out to my house probably by Weds.
Not sure who the problem lies with but clearly this business just wanted to secure my deposit and then make me wait til they could do the job.  If they were busy I could have moved on and had this problem fixed already. I even said as much right at the beginning.
I would not recommend this company if you have an urgent problem. They obviously do not care about their customers...  not to mention the drought rates we are experiencing.

    Rain Leak Specialists & Consultants
Mark (RAIN LEAK SPECIALISTS) is hands down the most capable and professional contractor we have ever worked with. For 14 years, we have spent well over a hundred-thousand dollars chasing leaks in our home that have eluded the diagnosis and repair efforts of many contractors of differing disciplines. They repaired what wasn't broken and/or failed to find the source of our leaks over and over. A never ending nightmare.
Then, we found Mark. Hoping against hope, we called. Firstly, he showed up at our home on time (that never happens). In 4 hours, he systematically pinpointed our problems and consulted us on proper repairs. In addition he helped us to put temporary measures in place to get us through the very next torrential storm that dumped 2 1/2 inches in one night. For the first time in 14 years, we survived a rainy night without it raining inside as well.
We found Mark to be accurate in his diagnosis, friendly, honest and a great pleasure to work with.  He is a true professional, with excellent follow through, a man who clearly takes pride in his craft that shows in his work.

    Repipe 1
After a water heater leak in a 50 year old rental property I own, and the resulting floor damage (which was considerable), I started to notice some of the galvanized pipes springing leaks.  At this point, I know it's time to get the house repiped.   You just can't replace old pipes in sections, as it's going to leak somewhere else..
I received bids from 2 "A" rated companies, and the bids were very similar.  I spoke to another A rated company, and they couldn't be bothered to come out, and 2 other plumbers wanted the job, but weren't experts in re-piping.  Note that this is not a job for a regular plumber, you need a dedicated repipe company.  Initially,  I wasn't going to call Repipe 1, as their listing here shows the location as Irvine, which is 50+ miles from me.  Once I spoke with them, I found out that they're really in Reseda, which is much closer.   If you have a plumbing problem, you want someone who is close.
The sales guy came by and gave me a bid on the spot.  In reality, they don't really have to look around much, it's based mostly on the number of bathrooms.   Their bid was in line with what I had been expecting, and they could start in a few days.  Pretty much, you only have to decide on copper or Pex.  I chose copper.
They started on time, finished repiping 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a laundry room, changed out some plumbing going into the house, and replaced 2 shower valves in a day and a half.  How this is possible is beyond me.  They cleaned up nicely every day and they only shut down the water for 5 hours or so.
The repipe was complete on Friday, and the city inspected on Monday.  On Tuesday, they sent in their drywall patching team, and the walls are smooth and ready for paint.   This company did 100% of what they promised, with zero additional costs.   Highly recommended.

Jon was called to patch and paint a section of my apartment after water damage. He did a good job and was paid. However, he called a few days later to say he lost the check and asked that I send another one.  When I got my bank statement, I see that he had cashed the original check and the 2nd check.  Had to call him to refund one of the payments, which he did.
Before I realized he cashed both checks, I saw that he lists lawn sprinklers as something he also does. I had him come out again, but he was not able to repair the sprinkers.
