    Erma Benitez MD
I have this skin problem and she sorted it out. She's really great. She is excellent and intelligent. She educates you literally about your skin. She educates you about eating right, which food you need to eat. She's got this great rate and great connection. They work hand in hand. It's a beautiful partnership. They will make their stuff available for you to be there.

I was very impressed with this office.  The surgery went very well and, a few months later, there is scarcely a sign that this little cancer ever existed.  The office is very pleasant and the views from examining rooms stunning.  The emphasis of this office is cosmetic work, and all the reading material in the waiting room is promotional, which seems overly commercial.  however, the actual work done is stellar.  My procedure was covered by insurance, but many performed by this office are not, so be prepared to pay for anything that is not considered medically necessary.

    Hamilton, Dr. Douglas G
I found Dr. Hamilton on Angie's List because i have tried many many different products to try to treat my dark circles with no luck. Dr Hamilton showed me before and after photos of patients he helped with similar problems. I can say I'm so happy with the outcome. The quick procedure was nearly painless and the results are immediate. Dr Hamilton explained the process and the environment was nice because he played relaxing music during the treatment. I'll continue to use his services in the future.

    Billips, Dr. Mavis
I think that she is really awesome. She is caring and really good. Her diagnosis is spot on every time. I have been taking everybody in my family there. I have only been to her office in Beverly Hills and it is very nice.

    Dr. William D. Keith MD
Dr. Keith listened, asked the right questions, erred on the side of caution, treated the area, prescribed an ointment -- and that seemed to do the trick. A doctor that listens instead of jumping to conclusions is my litmus test, and Dr. Keith passed very well. Office is also very clean and the office staff is competent and friendly. Doctor was running behind, but this is the one thing I will tolerate when all the other important factors are present.

    Leibowitz, Dr. Robert D
I am happy with him. He os very punctual and laid back. He is easy to talk to and he is not in a rush. He is a middle aged gentleman and his bedside manner is very good. His office wasn't supper crowded and that is nice. He took the time to listen to my concerns and he didn't rush out before I could finish. I was pretty happy with my experience.

    Herriford, Dr. Carla
She is easy to talk with and answers all your questions in a way that you can understand. She understands when there are financial restrictions and offers alternatives. She has helped me with skin problem which was something simple, but I have never asked anyone. She does my annual mole checks and is very personable. She was recommended to me by my primary care physician and has turned out to be a real blessing. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes when I had an appointment with her.

    Billips, Dr. Mavis
Dr. Billups is the kind of doctor that makes you feel like there are good doctors out there. She is kind, professional, and gentle. I have been to her for a variety of things from skin cancer screenings to having cactus removed from a finger.

    Billips, Dr. Mavis
Dr. Billip is overall a good doctor. Unfortunately her office is so poorly run that affects her and her staff's ability to serve their patients. I was a patient of Dr. Billip's while she was working under another doctor in the Cedar Sinai building and was always pleased with her and enjoyed her youthfulness and her bedside manner. I did not go to see her for about two years and when I returned she had started her own practice. I came to her for an accutane prescription, a medicine that requires a lot of paper work to be processed and requires the patient to have a pregnancy test and lab work done every month before they can get a new prescription. The results of those tests have to be entered into a federal data base before the prescription can be filled. Dr. Billip and her staff were apparently not aware of how this all works; she was aware of the federal system (called pledge) but the lab results were never entered into the system when they were supposed to. On more than one occasion, the window of time in which it was okay to fill my prescription lapsed because I was not able to get a hold to Dr. Billip or her office staff to ask why this information had not been entered. When I would get a hold of them they would tell me they didn't have the results and would ask ME if I had taken the tests. I would tell them the date and time the tests were given and finally the girl on the phone admitted that the results build up in the fax machine and they just throw them away when the pile gets too big!!! I was shocked. Because of this, I ended up having to take two sets of labs that I should never have been required to take. Once everything was squared away with the labs, I went to pick up my prescription. They told me that the medicine would cost me over $1,000 dollars. The pharmacist told me that the doctor had not filed a prior authorization form with the insurance company and they would not cover the cost until that was done. Which would take another 3 days to process. The pharmacists apologized, and then confided that they had these sorts of problems with City of Angels prior to this point. After that, I switched doctors, but the nightmare did not end. My new doctor had trouble switching me over to him in the Ipledge system, because, again, Dr. Billips office had not followed protocal for such an action and Dr. Billip had entered my birthday incorrectly (it was off by a year) so they would not allow me access to my own records. I now go to see Dr. Martin Kay in Burbank, CA and he is a dream come true after that fiasco. They have a girl on staff whose job it is to make sure to file all of the labs that come in. And I have not had a single issue with them in five months.

    Rubinstein, Dr. Gene
Great! Recommended! Just don't buy into the "upsell" to perform cosmetic procedures if you are there for skin health.
