Mr. Handyman serving Beverly Hills & Hollywood
The handyman arrived as scheduled and was courteous and professional. He completed the tasks I requested in a timely manner and cleaned the areas he worked in. I was pleased with his work and the attention from the staff at Mr. Handyman.

FEARLESS AND TAKE CHARGE TONY GETS JOB DONE! I am the owner of rock legend "Jim Morrison's Last Known U.S. Home" a 6 u. W. Hlwd. apt. bldg. I thought I'd try Angie's list to find a Gen. Con. to resolve a staircase & balcony Notice of Violation issue. I contacted a few dozen to get bids. Many didn't respond or had excuses. A few attempted to talk to the City of Weho for details, but eventually fell by the wayside. In the end, there was only one man left standing and that was Tony. He went above and beyond the call of duty, going to the city day after day for weeks talking to various depts. until he got answers, not accepting their runaround. I found Tony to be very knowledgeable, professional, honest, and dedicated. It was Tony who discovered my situation had become even more complicated with the city who had taken it to a whole new arena of "Historical" significance, which ultimately made the intended job more complicated and financially devastating so that I could not pursue the original job with Tony as planned as he was my 1st choice for the job. Tony never asked me for money, referrals, or to leave a review. He never asked for anything, but gave his everything. As a licensed realtor who has been in the Real Estate business for over 40 yrs. as an investor, developer, landlord, Vacation Rentals host, and CEO of Cheri Woods Rentals, I have no hesitation in saying to others you cannot afford NOT to hire Tony, if you want someone professional who knows what they are doing to take charge of your project, as there are too many con artists out there who will take your money and run.

    3ANGLE DESIGNS
I can't believe how amazing my house remodel turned out. I'm most impressed with how they transformed my Mid Century home with modern updates while still keeping the original integrity of the home. The designers listened to me and my crazy wish list and needs, and came up with designs that took all my ideas to the next level. They took their time to work with me and make sure I would be 100% happy with every little detail and gave me tons of visual aids so I would have a good idea of what my home would look like before the construction even started. When we moved into the construction phase, they were complete professionals from beginning to end. They communicated with me regarding the schedule and if they foresaw any delays. I appreciated the honesty and hand-holding I received when I had questions, or anything unexpected came up. I have been in my house for a few months now, and everyday am grateful for my beautiful home and that I chose this company to make my dreams come true!

    Chamberlain Constructors LLC
We have had an extremely negative experience with Chamberlain Constructors. Bryson Chamberlain (owner/ operator) failed to provide us with a schedule for construction, his contract stated that he had valid workers compensation (it had expired over 1 year ago), he failed to pay his workers, failed to pay the concrete company (they are now in the process of putting a lien on our home), he performed actions without a legal permit, additionally he has not responded to the Contractors State License Board (they have moved the claim into arbitration since he has not responded). He will not return phone calls and has not responded to our attorney's letter. I would urge anyone considering working with Bryson or his company to think twice. The last 6 months have been a total nightmare.

    Daniel's Development and Construction
I've used Daniels before both on small and midsized jobs, but this job was larger in scale, and price, it was also a family members home. You can see by my ratings that I was thrilled by there work from start to finish. Mark the job coordinator is a great communicator and an honest straight type, and I give him and the whole company my utmost respect and appreciation for a job well done.

    Steven Blake Construction
It was suburb! Over a space of 3 years, he designed with our architect a retaining wall 137 ft long and 34 ft tall (17 ft underground). The wall saved my home from sliding and is so well constructed and designed that it will last 200 years and will withstand a 9.0 earthquake.

    Southwest Construction & Home Improvement
Let?s get the easy part out of the way.  Southwest Construction was terrific.
Our project was a 50 year-old bathroom that we wanted to bring into the 21st century and improve functionality.  We had never taken on a project of this size or scope before but were smart enough to know that we didn?t know what we were doing.  My wife and I have had a mixed bag of experience with contractors over the years.  (Some very good, some just ?eh,? others down right criminally negligent.)  We were not enthusiastic participants and had to be dragged to the process.  From the start, Southwest answered our myriad of questions with enthusiasm and encouragement.
None of the work we previously did had required more than one or two tradesmen to accomplish.  A bathroom remodel requires demo, framing, electrical, plumbing, tile work, carpentry, and painting.  Unless you have a crystal clear idea what your layout will be or have architectural drawings, you will need someone to bring fresh design ideas and flexibility to the table.  Josh and his team did just that.  They gave us multiple choices and suggestions and changed direction on the fly - without haggling over dreaded ?change order? charges and petty haggling.
The finished product is way more than we were hoping for.  In fact, it is drop-dead gorgeous.   We are kicking ourselves that we didn?t do this years ago and are looking forward to working with them again on several other much delayed projects.
If your project includes multi-disciplinary talents with a great deal of coordination, these folks should be one of your first calls.  Next to the actual quality of the work performed, communication should be at the top of your requirements.  We can?t imagine working with anyone who would be as on top of it as they were.  Josh, one of the owners, was at the job site almost daily and was in constant contact either by text or phone.
Were there some issues?  Sure.  None of them major and all of them fixed to our satisfaction.  Josh was never satisfied until we were satisfied.  Did it take longer than first anticipated?  Yes, but most delays were self-inflicted or due to external forces.  (I?m looking at you City of LA building inspectors!)  Were they cheap?  No, but they more than made up for up with their value-added approach and guidance.  (Really, would you want to go with the cheapest physician/accountant/lawyer or one that you trusted was putting your interests first.)
Mark us down as completely happy.

    ESI General Construction Inc
I had extensive termite damage on a section of my nearly 100 year old house. My stucco is also very unique and I was concerned about a contractor being able to match the existing stucco. ESI did a great job repairing the wall and matching the stucco. Reggie always addressed all of my issues and Barbara was VERY helpful coordinating and responding to my questions.

MJ Bargod arrived to the job promptly, remained focus on their task and finished within 8 hours. The most important thing I look for in this type of service is performing a quality and neat job. JON CURRIE
Jon Currie is fantastic! He is 100% reliable, shows up on time, works fast and the result is flawless. This man can do pretty much everything. He charges per hour, but since he is so fast in what he does the overall price is very competitive.
