    Borden, Dr. Joseph I

He put me on to Voltaren (Diclofenac). It worked for the time I took it but 10 days after I stopped a month's pills, the pain returned.

The next step he suggested was orthotics which would correct my walk and pronation but $600 was a bit high for me and I never did like the idea of placing my feet under more discomfort.

The way I got rid of the problem, is when a friend in the lunch room where I worked told me to take what he was taking. Zyflamend by New Chapters, Bio-curcummin and Serrazimes. After about 2 months on these three anti-inflammatory supplements, the plantar fasciitis was gone.

Dr. Borden was highly recommended by my GP. The entire staff were very cordial in my visits.

They don't give a chest x-ray or nothing. If you walk in and you can talk, you're healthy. They were taken over by UCLA and it's not the same. Before it was taken over by UCLA, you could call the doctor and you could talk. But now, things are just totally different. Communication is terrible because my husband went in that day and I knew something was wrong with my husband. I said, "What did you find on Bill's?" He says, "Oh, it's really bad. I will call him tonight." He didn't call. It was a Friday. So, I called the clinic that's open on a Saturday and I said, "You find him and have him call here." You don't do that; say, "It's really bad, " and then you don't call.

    KAISER FOUNDATION HOSPITAL
I've used the practice for 25 years. They're probably the same as any medical people. You need to look out for bad drugs. I would say, "Go as seldom as you have to." If they don't kill you, you're lucky. They're always friendly. A lot of the ones that have been the best have left Kaiser and gone on their own. The women seem better. I tried to find a female doctor. But, they always leave and go elsewhere. Medication is a problem. I had too many side effects with the drugs that they've given. They say, "Take this drug" and when you look it up it's bad drugs. Usually, I have to wait a half hour to an hour. They run a tube down your throat and it comes out bloody and they keep doing it several times, it would be a 'D'.  If they try to give you bad drugs that's a 'D' too. They were going to shove a thing in my stomach and I said, "No. Get me the hell out of here." That's a 'D' also. I had to have oxygen therapy for one problem and they refused to even give me a prescription for it. That's an 'E'. I look at things carefully and analyze what they're doing. They communicate. They're doing as they've been instructed.

    Kaiser
I would give them triple A. We have been members since 1961. They are outstanding. I went there last week because I cut myself and it won't stop bleeding. I went to urgent care and took immediate care of me. I went there yesterday at 8:30 in the morning. Before noon at the internet, I had the results. The follow-up is terrific. They are beyond excellent.

    Kaiser Permanente Medical Group
We've been with them for a year and a half.  My daughter is diabetic and they did really great with her.  I'm really happy with them.  They're pretty good; you're not in the waiting room that long.  They're all friendly there.  They are outstanding in communication; everything is computerized.  They're good in the billing and administration.

    Magued Fadly MD
It ends up I have a minor Spinal Cord injury, everything Dr. Fadly said fit what I have felt in my body and pain for the past 5 years!
He is now going to give me the treatment I should have had and it will help me greatly!
Dr Fadly Graduated from Yale and also the Cleveland Institute and majored in the Spine!
I did not know this going in and the office was so busy!!!! But he took the time with every person there.
He is the only one that has given me and my family hope that I can regain my identity and start back to work !
Work is what I do and love along with fashion and I was robbed of not only those but a social life!
I praise this man and suggest you go to him if you have ant problems with any kind of pain!
    Thank you Dr. Fadly

    Kelman, Dr. Charles A
Dr. Kelman is a very competent, caring and professional Podiatrist. He is pleasant and always punctual. I have never had to wait more than five minutes in the waiting room. He is proactive, watching for problems before they can get more serious. He did minor surgery on my toe, and it was quick, painless and effective. He has offices in Northridge and Westlake Village, making it very convenient for patients. I highly recommend Dr. Kelman--an excellent physician who cares.

    Liebeskind, Dr. Howard F
Dr. LIebeskind in my opinion is one of the best Podiatirsts in Los Angeles. He is gentle, knowlegable, has a wonderful bed side manner, and get's the job done! My wife, myself, my mother, and my children have all been patients of Dr. Liebeskind, and cannot say enought good things about him. In addition to his practive in West Hills, he works in Santa Monica and is the team physician for the Los Angeles Galaxy (i.e. Beckham, Donovan, etc.).
