Very well. I'm extremely pleased with the job Asher did and it is so nice having the extra room for all my utility supplies and a separate room for my pantry items. Custom shelving was installed in both areas and a tile floor was installed in both areas, plus a recessed light was put in both areas. It looks very attractive now and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vision Remodeling to any of my friends.

    Creative Home Remodeling Group Inc.
My husband and I metwith David and his architect and designed the garage addition. What we ended up doing was a 11' extension to the front of our garage to give us much needed storage space. This also allows for a larger second story addition. We could not be happier with the results. David and his entire crew (painters, framers, plumbers, electricians, drywall installers) were allvery professional. They all knew me by name and called me out to the project any time they had a question for me. I consider myself very picky and they met and exceeded my expectations every step of the way. The framers wereparticularly meticulous. I haven't seen work thatdetailed in a long time. The electrician installedadditional lighting outside and added a photocell so we never have to turn the lights on. That was one detail we never even thought of.Everything came out beautifully. It doesn't even look like an addition. We have had nearly a dozen neighbors stop by and ask what we were doing and EVERY ONE OF THEM complimented us on the job. One neighbor that we didn't even know went so far as to say we now have the best house in the neighborhood. Compliments like that along with an experienced crew guarantee that we will use David and Creative Home Remodeling Group again. The crew arrived on time everyday, kept the work area neat, and completed the job on time. What more can a homeowner ask for?

    Real Construction
Our experience with Real Construction was extremely good. All the roofers, carpenters and painters did an outstanding and flawless job. They were always very punctual, very courteous, and (considering all the construction underway) they were surprisingly quiet and made every effort to minimize any disruption. They were especially attentive to cleaning up the work
areas before leaving for the day.
After work was begun it was discovered that the full extent of the damage was hidden and involved some other support posts and eaves. Since they considered this within the original scope of work we were able to quickly agree on a reasonable price modification (mostly to account for the additional material). This was very fair since a lot more labor was needed.
Asi was always available and reliable. He was present on site every single day to check the status and progress of the work.
He kept us fully informed as to what was being done and why. He also offered us options and made several excellent recommendations to enhance the final result. The project was completed on schedule and exceeded our expectations.
We are satisfied and happy customers. Their performance was superb. Real Construction is real indeed.

    GreatWay Roofing Inc
I am such a fan of Angie's List and my experience with GreatWay Roofing attests to that.  I researched roofers on Angie's, and based on good reviews, called on three companies to bid. To make the final choice amongst the three, I read every review submitted on each one, and there were many.  Based on the consistently great reviews given to GreatWay, decided to go with them.  And what a superb choice that turned out to be.  The communication was great leading up to the start date and throughout the project. They started on time each day, and cleaned up beautifully at the end of each day.  Each of the workers was very pleasant (and when you have them working inside your home-as they needed to do to install the daylite tubes (which are truly amazing!)-being pleasant and courteous is real plus.  They completed the job when they said they would.  There were no surprises. They came in at the price they had quoted during the bidding. This was a big, and for us, an expensive job. In addition to a complete reroof (ours was 40 years old) there was extensive wood rot on our eaves because the initial roof had been installed in a less than optimal way.  They also did little touches that I didn't realize they would do, like painting all the various vents on the roof to match the color of the roof tiles. Our roof looks wonderful. We are thoroughly happy with the work they did.  The decision to go with GreatWay was certainly the right one.  They are an impressive company and I would without any hesitation recommend them to anyone. And I am grateful that Angie's List made it possible to find them!

Asher was really helpful, very creative with ideas and the work itself. The job was finished before it was scheduled to be. The employees were always on time, very polite and cooperative. I am really happy with the final result of the work and would highly recommend him to others. He never charged me extra from the initial price he quoted. I already recommended him to several of my friends and I would definitely use him again in the future. He also did extra small jobs that weren't expected for free.

    Beech Hill Finish Carpentry
Brendan came to my home and gave me an estimate, which was expensive. Even though I felt his estimate was expensive, I thought I could still trust him, i scheuled him to come out and do the work, I then had a serious bicycle accident where I broke my collarbone and was hospitalized. I had to postpone the visit with the service provider because of the accident.  I even sent a photo after the accident to show him the extent of the injury. He responded "a late cancellation fee of $100 will be assessed to the total if you choose to reschedule." I felt that was unfair due to me not seeing a policy statement prior to canceling.  Upon recieving the response, which I felt was insensitive, I choose to not to do business with this provider.

    Karl's Carpentry
He was rude, nasty, obnoxious, masogenous, pushy, bully.  I am not sure if he would be equally rude to a man the way he was to me but he had a male attitude thing towards me as a woman. He was dishonest on the phone and said he would call at a schedued time and didn't call.  I asked him to leave because I couldn't continue to deal with how pushy he was.  The guys presumption was that I knew nothing about anything and had not an ounce of knowledge.  I didn't end up hiring him to do the work.

    Brian Broderick Handyman
My experience with him was excellent; he is really good. He is a craftsman and he really knows what he is doing; that is his specialty. He did excellent work including cleaning up after by himself. He is very careful about what he does and he explains extremely well.

    Pristine Construction Inc
Two of our 25 year old bathrooms sorely needed remodeling.  In our master bathroom we wanted to relocate the shower to where the bathtub was, resize a window, and remove a wall and soffits.  In our guest bathroom we wanted to keep the configuration the same with the exception of removing the soffits.  One problem, we were still traumatized by our 2006 kitchen remodel which was a comedy of errors.  We were not satisfied with the first 9 bids we received.  Then along came Nathan from Pristine Construction.
We knew immediately that we could trust him to do a good job.  We were not proven wrong.  Nathan and his partner Mike along with their crew who included Cornelio, Savino, and Milton were outstanding.  Everyone was courteous and professional.
Before we signed with Pristine, Nathan came to our house several times.  He made practical and solid recommendations on what floor plans and designs would be the most functional and look the best.  While at our house Nathan drew a computerized 3-D rendering of what each bathroom would look like.  An additional bonus is that Nathan is good at interior design which saved us the expense of hiring an interior designer.  Nathan accompanied us to stone, tile, and bathroom fixture stores where he made color, material, and product recommendations and made sure we received his contractor discount pricing. This greatly simplified the daunting task of selecting the best products needed to achieve our desired look and budget.  We are not the greatest at visualizing the end result so we took a leap of faith regarding Nathan?s design decisions.  The end result is spot on with what we desired.  My wife now wants to remodel the rest of the house, including the kitchen we did 6 years ago, because ?the bathrooms are the nicest rooms in the house.?             Pristine started our job on the date promised and finished several weeks earlier than estimated.  Every day the crew was at our house on time at 8:00 to 8:15 a.m. and would regularly work until 5:00 to 5:30 p.m.  Both Nathan and Mike supervised the work on a daily basis and Nathan would call us almost every day with an update.  When we called Nathan he would usually either pickup or returned our calls within minutes.  By the end of the job we felt like Nathan was part of the family.
Before demolition commenced, Pristine took great care to protect our hardwood floors, carpeting, and interior by laying down protective coverings.  At the end of each day they would sweep and vacuum.  This resulted in our being able to live in our house during construction without any significant issues.
Both bathrooms were taken down the studs.  New electrical, lighting, and copper pipes were installed.  During the job, Pristine determined that the previous electrical service to the bathrooms was inadequate and installed, without additional charge, 3 new lines of service.  When unanticipated situations came up, Nathan would say ?no problem? and took care of them.  When enhancements came up during construction -- e.g., adding a towel bar to the shower door, resealing our kitchen sink, replacing a hallway chandelier, and adding pull outs in the vanities-- Nathan and Mike did them without additional charge, often on their own initiative.  The quality of materials used by Pristine is excellent.  For example, instead of using Hardie backerboard to mount the shower tiles on, Nathan opted for the more expensive and time consuming method of floating cement because he said it would create a better water barrier and because it would produce a better end result.  At one point Nathan was not entirely satisfied with the color grout we had chosen for the master shower so he had it removed and replaced.
Pristine installed a makeup table and cabinets in the area that our old shower occupied.  Our new shower is what one would expect to see in a spa.  The custom vanities look great, are extremely well made, and are very utilitarian due to variety of drawers he incorporated into them.  The frames of mirrors over the sinks are made out of the same materials/finish used in the vanities.  The frameless glass shower doors are beautiful.  At Nathan?s suggestion, we opted for Caesarstone countertops in lieu of granite.  Great choice.                  We anticipate, without construction fear, doing additional remodeling next year.  This time we only need one estimate, Pristine?s.  Thank you for 2 beautiful functional bathrooms that were realized within budget and with minimal inconvenience and stress on us.

March 2012 Update:  Since completion of our bathrooms, we have contacted Nathan and Mike a couple of times for several small glitches.  They responded promptly each time and attended to our concerns.  They truly aim to please.

    Berger's Painting
Steve and his crew were amazing. He came out, did a consultation and even rode with us to check on other home colors that we like.  Three days later, he and his crew showed up to our house and did what they do best.  My wife and I are very pleased with Steve and his crew-Ronny, Oscar and Mauricio. They produced professional results in a very timely manner.  From complete preparation until the final stage-making sure they did not miss any spot and showed great concern on things such as the clean up and detail work associated with the job. Also, his price was very reasonable and the work was excellent.  Steve and crew stands out from the rest.  We will absolutely use them again.  Thanks so much Steve and Angie's list for making my house look new again.
