  • Fred was able to come 2 hours after I called but since I was at work I asked if he could come later in the day and he did. He worked around my schedule and was waiting for me when I got home. He was able to locate the problem right away and get it fixed. I would recommend Fred

  • Craig was right on time, had all his tools and my new parts, and went to work straight away.  His teenage son was his apprentice, who was very respectful, quiet while soaking up everything Dad explained and showed him, and was obviously very bright.  They were both clean, polite, and very personable and professional.  I will definately use them again, and recommend them to others without hesitation.

  • Sunday evening May 25, we noticed that the refrigerator was leaking and as time went on it was getting worst. My thought was that we would not see someone until Tuesday with Monday being a holiday. I went to Angie's List and saw Sharp Appliance Repair and decided to call it was now 7:15. I was pleasantly surprised when Fred answered the phone and I told him the problem he told me that he would get back to me in 5 minutes and he did. We arranged for him to come on Monday (Memorial Day) between 9am-11am. We turned our water off during the night to minimize any damage and Fred showed up a little after 9am on Monday. He looked at it and quickly told us the problem and took care of it. He even cleaned the condenser as a complimentary service. We feel that Fred was very professional and honest. We asked him about doing another job for us at another time but he told us that he did not want to do it because he felt it would just cause more problems then it was worth. He gave us a suggestion which we are thinking about. Fred was our hero today and we would definitely use his service again. Thank you Fred!!!

  • Did not go very well, as the company did not return call from my voice mail.  I called them on Monday 5/5/14 and got what I consider a "runaround" and phone person simply repeating himself in that the guy could not detect a leak and I should contact the Gas Co. I reminded him that was done prior to calling them and also told that to the serviceman. I reminded him the serviceman wrote down the part numbers, talked to his engineer, took pictures of the cooktop and was instructed to replace two burner valves. This seem to make no difference, in that he repeated the same thing as above. I contacted American Home Shield, who  referred me initially to Fosters, to report unsatisfactory service and AHS seemed to agree with me and referred me to another appliance vendor.
    I believe Foster was not up front in dealing with me and for some reason seem to shirk responsibility, therefore, I cannot recommend them. However, the service man seemed to do his job, but it appears to me he was overruled once he returned to the office. However, I fault him for not following up with me for status.

  • The gentleman who answered the phone was very very helpful.  Although he couldn't work on my refrigerator model he gave some helpful hint.  I even inquired about my dishwasher not washing well.  He gave me excellent advise.  My dishwasher is cleaning my dishes better than before and my dishwasher is sparkling.
    He did all of this over the phone for free.  I will definetly use him for any future jobs.  I have also recommended him to my friends in the area.

  • We'd been having problems with our refrigerator for months.  We'd delayed having it serviced primarily because none of our friends or colleages had a recommendation for a repairman they trusted and/or would us again.  We checked Angie's List and found APCO served our area and was highly rated across the board.  The APCO technician, David arrived on time and as scheduled.  The refrigerator's crispers being too cold was merely a setting we had wrong and that was quickly resolved.  The noise problem with the refrigerator was intermittant so David had to work quite hard to recreate the problem.  He persisted, really persisted for 30 minutes and then, finally the noise that had been annoying us for months revealed itself.  It was a "frame problem".  A component at the back and underneath the refrigerator was vibrating against the refrigerator's frame creating the noise.  David fashioned a rubber piece and secured it in between the component and the refrigerator's frame. Voila, noise gone.  Our refrigerator has been completely silenced.  In addition to persevering until he found the problem and solved it, David was clean, courteous and pleasant.  APCO's pricing was excellent too.  When we have the need for another major applicance repair we won't hesitate to call APCO.  We strongly recommend them.

  • Apco exceeded any of my expectations.   It is AH-MAY-ZING!!!  Most importantly, HONEST.  They didn't try to sell me on anything, and in fact tried to save me a few $$$.
    The ice maker in my fridge went out and stopped producing ice. I called after 5 pm on Tues and they called me back after hours.  They had a serviceman out here by noon the next day.  He diagnosed the possible problem.  He tried a simple fix by re-setting the icemaker.  Hopefully it will work and ice will be made (I must wait for the ice to freeze).  If not, they are getting a quote on replacement parts.  My service call charge of $69.95 can be applied to a second call, if necessary, to replace the ice-maker parts.  
    Dave even showed me how to re-set the ice-maker in the future.  He advised that if the ice maker works, then GREAT, no need to do a more expensive repair.  He let me know that they tend to go out about 2-3 years because all of the parts are plastic now.  
    GREAT service.  GREAT guy.  Family owned business.

  • When I called to make the appointment, the very professional dispatcher immediately scheduled an appointment with a 4-hour range on the next Saturday. She called to confirm the day of the appointment and to give me a better idea of when the repairman would show up. He showed up at that time--called to let me know he was on the way--all this extremely satisfactory since we all have such busy lives.
    He diagnosed the problem per my description above and stated that while he could certainly order the part and install it, I should call Maytag with the problem. Because I had just purchased the washer 14 months ago, he thought there was a reasonable chance Maytag would supply the replacement part free and I would only have to pay for installation.
    He said that his office would call me on Monday with the information I needed to make that call to Maytag. They did, and gave me the phone numbers, the part description, and coached me on what to say. I called and Maytag has authorized a free replacement part (although they also insist that it be installed by a certified Maytag repairman--APCO is not Maytag certified).
    I absolutely would use APCO again! They were great--professional, reliable, honest, capable and really went the extra mile. You couldn't ask for a better experience.

  • they were a little late but once they got Jerry, sõrmed expertly and efficiently. He had to fit the cut out oven and had to do sõmerpalu extra work. Also installed dishwasher, was very fair and reliable. Would definitely use Jerry again. He owns his own appliance shop but also does installations as well.

  • It's an appliance company I think, I'm not sure. I used them for appliance installation. They were much more competitive in terms of pricing. They do sell appliances. My interaction with them was very good. The only thing was they came a little bit later than I anticipated them to come. They were very professional. They did a really nice job, spent a lot of time and they were very reasonable. They had to do some extra work and I knew it would have been more expensive had I gone to somebody else. Their pricing was good. When I called them they responded, but they did quite show up a little bit later than the original time frame. I'm planning to use them again in the future.
