One of the garage door was on back order so it took a while to get the second door installed. He let me know up front that this was the case. ARecently had Mega Power Electric Inc install solar panels and upgrade my electrical panel. I had multiple quotes for this job and I chose Simply because their price was reasonable, and they have been around for many years. Our consultant, was very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining how the system would work and answering all my questions. The installation and system initiation went according to plan and any questions I have asked were answered quickly by Customer Service. I definitely recommend this company.

APretty well overall. First team was on time and performed estimate. Several different teams had to visit site to complete the job. One team had only a motor but not springs. Another had springs but no motor. Neither had correct control button. Final team needed to adjust springs put in by first team, but eventually installation completed.

AShane and John are true finds. They made time in their incredibly hectic schedule to perform a service call on our gate opener. It’s not a brand they normally service or sell, yet out they came. (Was is the desperation in my voice, perhaps?) Our opener is two years old, had never been serviced (I didn’t know how to do it), and was making a pretty worrisome noise. In about 30-45 minutes, Shane and John had our opener operating more silently than a cat burglar (plus had installed two new batteries). They graciously and patiently educated me on how I could service the mechanism myself in the future and exactly what implements and lubricants I would need. Shane also provided a ballpark guesstimate of how much it would be to upgrade our opener to one of the quality devices he sells and installs, and explained, step-by-step, what the whole process would entail and what it would look like (and do) in the end. And, he did it with no pressure whatsoever. (In fact, I had to ask him!) I told him that if/when we decide to upgrade our mechanism, he’s got the job. A final note: Not only did Shane and John do a top-notch job for a price that was more than fair, they’re first-class human beings. Our entire transaction/interaction couldn’t have been more pleasant. I’m now looking for opportunities to sing their praises to others. Many thanks again to both of you, Shane and John!

FThey sent a technician that looked like a young boy to fix the garage keypad malfunction. All of a sudden the pad started working and he could not tell me why. I demanded to know the reason, so that I will be able to troubleshoot or prevent this kind of issues. He refused to do that and I had to pay him. Now the amount they want for a visit doubled. And the same issue kept happening with some variations. Now the remote is malfunctioning and the garage opening and closing mechanism is unreliable and difficult to set as well. That is the one that is operating with the use of the hanging rope. Door Mart refuses to address that with me over the phone and answer a couple questions before I call their technician. They demand a visit. I always try to troubleshoot it before a costly visit. They told me that since the garage door was installed 3 years ago, they are not obligated to talk to me. But isn't it just good business to answer some simple questions? They told me to call another garage door company for questions. And my answer was why should I. They are not the ones that had installed my garage door. Also the person that had installed my door did that in a hurry. He told me he wanted to avoid a rush traffic. He left a few wires hanging out in the motor area so it was unsightly. I would not hire someone that cannot deal with loose ends after their product is installed. After any installation there can be issues.
