They come weekly to my house. He does periodically, like four times a year, clean the filter. He keeps me up on anything that goes wrong. He doesn’t clean the pool. They are not trying to come and gouge me; that’s what I like about them. They are very good.

The Spa at the Lafayette Park Hotel is a relaxing get away, even if just for a short appointment, like mine.  I have had several massages (prenatal, couples, and aromatherapy) there before, which were enjoyable and professional, albeit pricey.  But you get what you pay for with spa treatments, so it is worth it.
I always book just by giving them a call.  I have never had a problem getting an appointment, even if I call only a few days before.  The receptionist is always courteous and respectful.
The eyebrow wax was great.  Reasonably priced given the location (in a resort/spa).  The woman who did the waxing was great--we discussed my face shape at length, and she talked me through her thought process.  She incorporated my desires with what would "work" with my face (I love thinner brows, but my face shape doesn't lend itself to that.  We found a happy medium).
Love the valet service--remember to tip your valet!
I will definitely return for a brow wax and a massage.

We thought they had it fixed, but they problem came back, and I called them back, they said they could not do anything about it, because it was to do with the design of the pool pipe. I had paid them 150 Dollars, but they could not resolve the issues. I was happy with them on that day, but over the weekend, I noticed the problem again. They seemed fine, and for the most part, they were responsive. It's not like they didn't try to help me with the problem, but they said it was not in their hands. They were professional about it, and I might use them in the future.

Can't speak highly enough of John and his team. We bought a house with an old pool that needed new equipment and lights. All the work he did was very good ( We had someone come out to do an estimate on new pool-decking and she complimented whoever had done the work). He taught us how to use everything (our first pool). We had some tiles coming off and the pool was leaking. He put us in contact with a great leak-finder (Rolando) who patched the leak expertly.
Our weekly-service never fails, pool is clean and well-cared for.

ALD came out and determined the plaster around a fitting wasn't right so I had that repaired. After some time the pool was leaking again. ALD came out and thought the problem might be with the drain at the bottom of the pool and that if they 'evacuated the drain' it might solve the problem. The other option was to dive the pool for an additional fee so I went with that. After the dive they said there was nothing wrong with the drain and that left me nowhere. The pool kept leaking. I got them to come back at their expense and they decided it was the skimmer.
The story goes on and on and on. I had a different pipe fixed. The pool started leaking again. I finally found another guy who actually figured it out, for real and it wasn't the drain or the skimmer or the other pipe that got replaced. It was a different spot.
So ALD was professional and timely and they showed me things they found but at some point I finally felt like they were just making stuff up and it was beyond frustrating. I would not use them again.

Excellent!  I was very pleased.  They came on schedule to remove a hot tub from my deck.  I had to be away, so they were on their own.  Everything was done right and there was no damage to the deck or any debris from the spa.

Paul was prompt on the initial appointment, very personable and professional, and his bid, at $870, turned out to be significantly lower than the other two, whose bids were up to $1400. I set up an appointment for the installation with his office for the following week.
The day of the scheduled installation, he never showed and when I called the office, I was told he got held up at another job. Luckily, he was able to come out the next day and he and his helper completed the job. The handrail was drilled into the cement a of the pool deck, and the only quibble I have is that they left small bits of debris from the concrete drilling in the pool.
That night a woman who I happen to know from work showed up at my door and asked me what type of work I'd had done. Apparently, she'd heard Paul's office staff mention my street name, and she went looking for the house. Paul had been doing major work on her pool, and he was just not completing the job. Here it was the first week of August and she'd been 17 weeks without the use of her pool and spittin' mad about it. So while MY experience was not perfect, but was pretty good, hers was extremely negative, and made me wonder about the wisdom of using A Very Nice Pool Company for future, larger work.

I called this company because of excellent Angie's List reviews. The owner called me back quickly and gave me good advice on how to sell my hot tub, even though I wasn't asking for his services.

I had Paramount come out to give me an estimate on refurbishing my empty swimming pool. It had been leaking water and we emptied it 2 years ago so it was time to either fix it or fill it in.

The estimator/sales guy came exactly on time, discussed the process and the issues he could see and emailed me an estimate later in the day. The only fly in the ointment for this part of the process is that I wrote back and asked him what kind of things typically drove up the price of this type of project (originally slated to be a re-tile and re-plaster job) and he didn't have any. I think he could have but more on that later.

The workers showed up exactly when scheduled and got right to work. They found that much of the plaster had lifted away from the gunnite and they really had to take it all down. They also found about 3 times as many structural cracks as estimated but that had been left open so that was okay. I was disappointed to be hit with the new charge of stripping the pool but Jorge cut me a really generous deal for the cost of the stripping and the extra cracks and I'm pretty sure I got the better end of the bargain. They also found that there were cracks in the corners of the pool and they applied extra rebar and concrete to those areas. They did not charge me more money for those repairs.

The job started on 7/20 and by 7/29 water was flowing into the pool again and it looks great. The crew did a good job of cleaning up and I'm quite pleased with the outcome. I recommend Paramount without hesitation.

It's a small operation. The regular fee is $115, but then there are some additional charges that come in. So, the average is about $150 a month. The pool service guy is reliable and pleasant to do business with. His prices are reasonable. He was responsive when we asked about extra things. We recommend him and we are happy with his service. It's the same guy all the time and he does a good job. I would use their services in the future too.
