    Pacific Rain Gutter
My name is Rick Fodor, Im 75 years old and since claimbing is not anymore one of my favorite past time, this spring I decided to cover/protect my gutters so I dont need to clean them every fall. By searching the Internet I found good references for the LeafFilter Gutter Protection system and their Manufacturers lifetime, money back, no clog guarantee, their BBB A rating, Angies List and being #1 professionally installed gutter protection (their claim) were good indicators of their professionality. Unfortunately I was wrong, advertised guarantees and real guarantees are be different. Please find below the short version of my story. On 3/3/18 the LeafFilter Company installed the gutter protection screen on my front gutter. I was thinking if it will work, I will install it around the whole house. A few days later it was raining, and at least in 2 places the water was overflowing the gutter. In one point it was really bad, lot worst than before the screens were installed. Called 3x and called with their secretary and wrote 3 e-mails with the complaint but I got no response within 10 days. Since nobody returned my calls, I filed a complaint with the Sacramento BBB (#12798816) and I asked my money back, as the guarantee mentioned it. Next day I was called and started to negotiate not to return my payment because they didnt know if the gutter was filled or not. Didnt make sense, because it was overflowing. Anyhow I accepted they send somebody to fix it. On 4/24/18 Somebody came, took off a piece of screen and it had some dirt on it. I was told that is the cause of the overflow. The technician cleaned it, mounted in place. When I sprinkled with water it overflow as initially. The technician didnt know what was the problem so he called his foreman. He was told the foreman forgot to give him a piece that he needs to install. So basically he just wasted my time. Anyhow we set another appointment for 5/1/18 between 10-11:00. Since he didnt show up till 11:30 I called the National Manager in Ohio (Michael 614-226-1723) and left a message that I dont have all the day to wait for his technician. Five minute later a technician was calling he had another work to do and will be late. I told him Im, available till 13:00 if he cant make it we need to reschedule the appointment. And we did it for 5/8/18 between 10-11:00. On Appointment on 5/8/18 between 10-11:00 the technician could not fix the problem. Wanted to install a splashguard visibile from street. Since my house is in an HOA community, deviations from the standard of the HOA are not allowed. On the other hand in the companys leaflet they claimed a special screen to solve the gutter overflow, no splashguard was even mentioned. On 5/10/18. Called the companys varranty office, and asked for my money back. Promised to be called back in a day or two. I called two more times, same promise, but nobody called. On 5/18/18 the manager from Ohio called, insisting to install a splash-guard. I didnt agreed so he came-up with the idea of replacing the leaf-guard mesh with another one with faster down-flow. I agreed and he promised to do that. A technician installed the new mesh with larger wholes, but without any visible effect. By watering the roof with a standard garden hose, after 3-5 min. started to overflow the gutter. The manager from OHIO called again and wanted to set another appointment to see how to fix the problem. I told him that I was very forthcomig giving him 4 chances to fix the problem, but my time and my resources are limited. Since the LeafFilter is not working as promised I requested my money back again, but it was denied. My opinion is that LeafFilter company is not acting honestly, they do not deserve Angies List support and definitely I want my money back.

After several calls where they didn't call me back, I tried a different number and got a recording saying that they were only doing new installations until summer. I had another general contractor make the repairs in 10 minutes. So, they did not honor their "lifetime" warranty.

    Everlast Construction
We found Everlast Construction after a friend gave us Ariel phone number, we were looking to remodel a house we just bought and wanted an entirely in-home design and build a team to handle the project. After consulting with other companies, we were ultimately drawn to Everlast Construction because of their attractive showroom they took us, they work with amazing showroom that we able to find all of the items we needed. We are a young couple and other companies didn't take our needs very seriously thinking we wouldn't have much business to offer, but Everlast Construction treated us like we were their most important client. Ariel Baleli always greeted us with a smile, we signed the contract a week later and they began working on our home as if we were the first in line. Less than six months later we were moving into the house of our dreams and they still keep in touch with us to make sure everything is looking good and their craftsmanship is lifetime quality.

    Reliable Raingutter Systems
Dave Ratto, owner of Reliable Raingutter Systems, replaced the coarse mesh  metal screens on my rain gutters with fine mesh plastic screens. The coarse mesh screens, which were installed less than 8 years ago when we replaced our roof, were not very effective in keeping pine needles out of the gutters, and they made it much more difficult to clean the accumulation of material underneath the screens. Dave offered us a choice between slotted aluminum screens, which although longer lastting, were considerably more expensive, and the plastic mesh screens which we selected. He removed the old screens, cleaned the gutters, blew all the leaves and needles off our roof, and checked that the downspouts were draining properly.

    Bohemia Roofing
We put off getting a new roof for longer than we should have, but I'm so glad we chose Bohemia Roofing. I got a number of quotes that all came in around the same number, but the estimate we received from Bohemia Roofing was far more thorough and took into consideration some elements particular to our house. That showed us they knew what they were doing -- as people who hadn't ever had a roof replaced, we valued that transparency and itemization.
Vashek and Svetlana were professional and courteous, but on top of that, they were kind. They drove sample materials over to us and even came to patch the existing roof ahead of a big storm when we were being indecisive about scheduling. They brought this same level of professionalism to all interactions -- from scheduling, to the crew, the updates and the work done, we couldn't be more pleased. The work was done on schedule, was very thorough and it looks great. They handled everything and did it well, even following up with us to make sure we didn't have any concerns or problems after the fact.

    Everlast Construction
I get the impression dealing with service people is like throwing darts.
You focus on the goal, use your best finesse- let that baby fly and still just hope for the best. I'm usually happy to hit the board but this time I got the bulls-eye!
Everlast is the service company you hope to get. The work is very good. Done thoroughly, done timely and done well, passing all inspections along the way. Ari is a contractor you don't mind inviting into your home.
Honest and true to his word. He is dependable, communicative, and easy to deal with.

the estimator showed up early, toured the house and left 5 min after our scheduled appt and I just missed him. I called the office (twice) and about an hour and a half later he came back to do a walk through with me so I could discuss the issues and have him talk to me about what he thought needed to be done. Very nice guy and very patient. He was going to follow up with an email estimate later that week...2 months later, 2 phone call reminders for said estimate and still nothing.
I'm going to use someone else.

    Precision Roofing Co
These guys are pros. Michael Green, Travis Green and their crew were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. My roofing project was a big job and a complicated job. The existing roof was old and had simply worn out. Even my inexperienced eyes could see that. The roof has a number of complicated transitions as well as a large HVAC unit that had to be disconnected, raised off the roof, and reinstalled with a better design for water drainage around it. Furthermore, there are gas, water and power lines that had to be contended with during the re-roof project. We wanted to use an HVAC contractor that we had a relationship with to assist with the HVAC component of the work and Precision was amenable to that idea. In fact, they suggested a pre-coordination meeting so that the project details and schedule could be worked out ahead of time between all parties. Smart. I wish I could tell you all the things they did in a technical way, but I am not very knowledgeable about all that. I do know that they had to replace portions of the plywood roof that were damaged from previous water leaks, re-work some areas so that the rain water would drain better, re-do all the flashing and make the roof viable again, replace facia boards and replace all the gutters, replace the attic fans, add in a couple of new vents, seal up weird transitions so that little critters could not get in to nest, of course, install the new composite shingles and repair stucco. Overall, I was anxious about this project when I first started researching roofers, but felt that I was in good hands after meeting with Mr. Green and discussing the project. They are very good at communicating, their crew is punctual, professional and courteous, the work site was always tidy, and they were flexible and responsive in meeting our various needs. Mr. Green gave me the confidence that this would go well and it did. I am so happy to have a new roof and to know that I will get through the winter rain without any leaks for a long time to come. I could not be happier. Oh yeah, and they finished the project ahead of the original schedule despite scorching heat in August. If I ever have another roof project, I would hire Precision without a second thought.

    Commercial Gutter & Cleaning
It was fine but I passed on them. They were very courteous. They were here on time and they were very clear and concise on what they would do. Everything was good about it but I just was able to locate another vendor that was cheaper.
