    Everlast Construction
The complete remodel of one of our bathrooms, add an additional 100 square feet and create a 9' pass through between the kitchen and family room was just completed by Everlast Construction last week. This entailed major construction - engineering, demo, footings, support beams, framing, insulation, electrical, plumbing, paint, floor tile, cabinets, countertops, and installing appliances. The bathroom is gorgeous. I could not be happier. The project manager, David, was constantly on top of the scheduling and progression of the work. He visited almost every day to make sure everything was going to plan and always asked if we had any questions or problems. Any issues that came up were immediately addressed. Compared to many contractors I have dealt with, the communication was wonderful. The quality of the work was top notch and the various tradespeople (plumbers, electricians, painters, tile-setters, etc.) were all very pleasant and helpful. They were always on time per the schedule or if there was a delay, we received a timely e-mail and re-schedule time. The job was completed on time per the original promise date. The clean up at the end of the job was professionally done. The Everlast team did an OUTSTANDING job at my home. The bathroom model they basically completely redesigned and it looks absolutely amazing!!!

    Oak Mountain Cabinets
Dave Fontan and his crew were polite, on time and efficient. They refaced my kitchen, bathroom and TV room cabinets, installed a wine fridge and trash compactor. Five years later it still looks like new. I needed some additional work done recently and called Dave once again. So, yes I would and did use him again.

When I approved their quote they told me when work would begin (a few weeks in the future). They called to remind me the week prior that they would arrive Monday morning between 8-8:30. Their employee was right on time and very meticulous in keeping work area clean. Then he explained the process and told me each day when he would be back for the next step in the process.
Very professional and the work is excellent. I would hire them again!

    Walt's Quality Painting

Walt is a professional craftsman who takes great pride in his work and in pleasing his customers.  He takes the word quality in Walts Quality Painting very seriously. This was evident in the job he completed for my family.

We are absolutely thrilled with our kitchen cabinets which came with a three year guarantee.  Not only did he paint our cabinets, but he also installed hidden hinges, cabinet pulls and bumpers, and glass in our existing cabinets over our hood range.  He is a one-man operation who takes his time, but the finished product is worth the wait. He is a disappearing breed of painter.

Before he began painting, he spent three days sanding our kitchen cabinets by hand and with a power sander. He then coated them with a super high end urethane base primer and the cabinets were again sanded before the top coat of epoxy finish was applied resulting in a super smooth factory like finish.

He was careful to mask all the surfaces he used in our kitchen and garage and cleaned up daily so we were able to use our kitchen to prepare dinner each evening. What I appreciated most about Walt was his customer service. He was willing to work with us to accomplish exactly what we wanted.  If you are looking for an expert craftsman with integrity, Walt is the painter for you.

It went well!  We were pleased with the work that was done.
The Entry door was not an easy project and was done very well.
The TV cabinet project was just what was needed to update the room with a flat screen TV that could also be hidden when not in use.  Retrofit of doors and it looked like original work was done.
Exterior and misc. maintenance projects were done in a timely manner and met all of our expectations.

    Kenney Construction
Dave Kenney responded quickly to our request for a quote.  He came to our house where we were able to go over all of the options and details of the project.  His experience on such projects was quickly apparent.  We received the written quote via email in less than 24 hours.
By agreement, we rounded up most of the fixtures and hardware ourselves, which gave us the opportunity to pick out exactly what we wanted.  When the day came to start the project (and every day thereafter), Dave and his son showed up right on the dot.  His son proved to be quite adept at nearly every aspect of the job.  As a team, they got things going very quickly.
We were amazed at how thoroughly they cleaned the place up at the end of each work day.  For the entire duration of the project, that bathroom was the tidiest room in the house.
When the custom tile work began, Dave proved to know his craft well, and his son was already doing a very professional job of it himself.  We couldn't help but take note of the attention to detail that they both demonstrated.  The tiles weren't just slapped up randomly.  Since each piece of porcelain tile was different, they carefully balanced the color, patterns, and grain to give the most appealing appearance.  They did the same for every piece of trim, both on the shower and on the floor.
To our delight they finished the job ahead of schedule.  When we requested a couple of minor follow-up tweaks and adjustments in the days that followed, they showed up the same day and took care of them at no extra charge.
It's possible we could have done better, but we really can't imagine how.  When our next project comes along we'll save time by not having to shop around.  We'll just call Kenney Construction.

    Woodiwiss Painting
The project estimator, Joe, and the owner, Toby Woodiwiss, were very friendly but professional in our initial meetings with them to discuss the work and obtain a cost estimate. They both worked with us in suggesting different shades of color options for the different rooms, both walls and trim colors, including painting small sections of one wall with the different shades so we could determine which we liked best. No other painter we have used in the past offered to do this.
The crews were also professional and did a very thorough job of prepping the work area, moving furniture to the center of the room as needed and covering them. They also made sure that we were kept aware of their planned work schedule. When each day?s work was complete, they did their best to make the home livable. Our hardwood floors were completely covered with painter?s paper rolls and taped to prevent any damage. Toby, the owner, came by almost every day to see how the project was progressing and see if we had any questions.
The work effort on the kitchen cabinets was quite involved since it took several attempts to find a stain and finish coat that met our
needs. Woodiwiss was very patient while taking a cupboard door panel back to their shop several times and showing us what it would look and feel like with different stains and finish coats.

They were absolutely the best crew and company I have ever run across.  I would use them again for any project I had around the house.  I am so happy we choose Toby to complete our kitchen project.

    Century Cabinets
Mike Conner first came out to look at my kitchen in Spring, 2013.  We wanted to reface some cabinetry and have custom cabinets made for other areas.  We had a good amount of discussion of different things we could do and that conversation continued over a few more visits.  Finally, we came to an agreement on the plan and Mike got to work on getting things built in their shop.  Overall, the process was very smooth.  The craftsmanship was very good, and there were custom aspects of our kitchen they did that exceeded our expectations - lazy susan turntables, inside cabinet storage racks, mixer stand, pull out spice rack.  If we could imagine it, Mike and his guys would make it happen.  One large new cabinet we had installed we decided was too big, so they took it back to the shop and made it about 4" shorter, which was perfect.  It was so refreshing to work with people who had attention to detail and were more worried about making it as good as it could be than anything else.  All the contractors that worked on our kitchen were very professional and everyone who sees our kitchen comments on the quality and custom features.  We couldn't be happier.
