I usually see Stephanie; she is pretty good and thorough. I was seeing a doctor before that and they were the only clinic in town. You have to wait a long time to be seen and I will use them again in the future.

They care about the patient and they help the patient. They are receptive to listening to the patient and having the patient help with care.

I was taken right into the ER. My doctor was professional and ordered quite a few tests and lab.  I felt he was very thorough.  The staff, nurses, lab workers, techs, etc.; as usual, were very friendly.  I was released in 2.5 hours--very quickly by ER standards.  I did not mark the billing and administration since my HMO is to be billed---I have had prior problems with the billing of ER visits.

Always treat us professionally. Doctors tend to come and go, but they work as a team so it's no problem as long as you're comfortable with that. Could use a little more privacy in the waiting areas, especially in such a small town, but they try.

It was a Sunday morning and fairly quiet there. I filled out the paperwork and sat for a while. The office is older. It is not particularly inviting and there are not separate examining rooms. There are areas with privacy curtains. When the doctor came in,he was youngish and came across to me as Mr. Doctor Professional, why are you here. I was not impressed nor inspired with confidence but, it was only a bladder infection, not some complicated, mysterious disease. I told him succinctly what had been going on, what I had been taking over the counter, etc. and at some point, he hit me. Now, in fairness, I think what he was intending to do was to apply pressure to my kidneys to see if I was having pain there, but he didn't say this. He just all of a sudden hit my back and the I think he did it a second time. I was so shocked, I couldn't say anything. That very, old fashioned, hierarchical, be a good girl mode kicked in and I was speechless. To this day I am angry at myself for not saying anything. Which is why I am writing the review. Right or wrong, I felt like I had crossed a cultural divide and he was the one with assumptions about doctor/patient interactions that are outmoded and rightfully, not tolerated. I left, picked up the prescription and will never return.
