Amazingly well. Workers showed up promptly in the morning, worked very diligently and cleaned up at the end of the day before leaving. Kyle Bridges (Steves son) is amazing--very careful and precise worker--a person you can't help but like. I have now dealt with the Bridges since May of this year. We did not realize the scale of the job ahead. It started with some painting and a couple of walls and grew. I would hire Bridges construction again without hesitation. This is my very first recommendation of anyone and am very pleased it has been such a positive experience.

The original windows in this house were builder grade - low budget aluminum frame windows - that developed a haze between glass panes (the windows started hazing about 12-15 years after installation).  We'd contacted two other window companies to provide bids, but the windows performance specs were lacking (U=0.34, SHGC=0.31).  Researching window / glass company specifications, it is easy to achieve better values, so we put window replacement on the back burner.  While perusing the 2016 Reno Home Show, we discovered BHN purely by chance, and provided our contact information.  Chad (BHN) contacted us to schedule an appointment a few days later.  Chad took time to explain his window AND his warranty, both of which are excellent.  He also mentioned windows can be ordered as sliders or double hung (highly recommend everyone visit a home with double hung windows to compare with sliders).  After listening to everything he offered, we agreed that BHN would replace our windows.

BHN took about 3.5 days to replace 12 windows, install 2 new windows, and replace a cheap french door with a slider.  The first day we arrived home, the difference between old and new windows was night and day.  The low-E creates a polarized view, enhancing color contrast.  BHN was considerate of interior space / furniture by covering floors and furniture with drop cloths.  The work area was clean after each shift - BHN takes refuse with them.  Had a hole in one screen and BHN replaced it the same day.

Working with vinyl can be messy, so be aware.

We have been very happy with the work Mr. Castillo has performed.  Our first priority project was to replace two sections of fencing to accommodate a large dog and small child - both of which need to be contained to their yard.  We also had a broken post.  Mr. Castillo was prompt in completing this project and we are very happy with the results.  Our entire family can now enjoy the yard at our new home.

Following the fencing projects Mr. Castillo spent nearly a week in and out of our home prior to our moving in.  We had a 2-page list of mostly small projects to get the home ready for our family.  These projects included adding a section of tile near the front entry (which was beautifully executed using existing tiles we found in the garage), and replacing the backdoor, which was completely rotted due to rain.  Mr. Castillo pointed out to us that the lack of rain gutters above the door was contributing to the problems with the backdoor and in addition to replacing the door he added rain gutters to alleviate future problems.  We are very appreciative of this attention to detail and foresight.

The list of indoor projects Mr. Castillo completed was lengthy and most were projects we could have tackled ourselves but having someone around to help allowed us to focus on moving.  For some projects, we purchased the supplies and for others Mr. Castillo purchased supplies and provided receipts for reimbursement.

We agreed on a price of $30/hour for all projects other than the fencing, which was $600 plus material costs.

I have no doubt that we will keep a running list of projects and when the list is long enough we will call on Mr. Castillo to return to help us out.  He has been a calm and friendly presence amongst the chaos of our move.  He is professional and prompt, and has been very respectful of our home.  I look forward to working with him again.

    John Pauza Construction
We were under time constraints to get my son into his fixer upper. John understood and was quick to provide an estimate. He was able to move his schedule around to facilitate the work we required in order to keep our schedule moving. John has vast knowledge of the construction process and was able to provide contacts and information to plan our next steps. John is professional and pleasant to work with. He is very prompt and meets his commitments. Job was well done, and I was left with the info I needed to  move on to the next step. We will use John in the future.

As far as the work goes they did an excellent job and were fair on the price at the end.  My only complaints were not showing up and not calling to let me know they weren't coming and the length of time the project took.  That last part was probably my fault because I didn't have an end date with penalties put in the contract.  Won't do that again.  Live and learn!

    Top Notch Handyman Services LLC
My husband and I recently bought a new home that needed varying degrees of repair and renovation work. We found Alan Lynch on Angie's List, and he was also recommended by a personal friend.
Working with him has been a pleasure. He is very professional and an expert in many areas, from the smallest jobs to major installations and repairs. With each job -- replacing garage door weather stripping, repairing the condensate line on our air  conditioning, repairing stucco, and installing a whole new wall and door for our den -- Alan was efficient and did a great job.
We plan to continue working with him in the future. We couldn't be more pleased, and we're very happy to have someone like Alan to call on when we need things done around the house. We highly recommend Top Notch Handyman Services.

    Quality First Home Improvement Inc.
the initial visit for quoting was quite the process. the sales person was late by about 45 minutes, but his coworker was on time, so this made for an awkward time to fill while the main guy with all the information showed up. the sales pitch was long and drawn out (took about 3 hrs total), but he was very thorough and detailed on all aspects of the windows their quality and warranty.
the day of the install went well. we had 10 windows and a sliding door being replaced. 5 guys showed up about 9 am and had everything done and cleaned up by 5 pm. everyone was very respectful of my things. they cleaned up everything before leaving.
overall it was a very good experience, we are very happy with our new windows/sliding door.
we will likely call them again when it is time to replace the front door and roof. (yes, they provide this service as well)

    C & G Doors & Windows
After the quail broke our window fleeing a hawk, I called several glass repair businesses and got estimates ranging as high as $400. When I got the estimate from Cand G and asked them to come and take a look, Chris arrived in less than an hour. He took measurements and promised to return in less than a week. He called to say that he would be here in 20 minutes, arrived as promised and the window was repaired in less than half an hour. The door pull replacement took less time than the window. He was professional, courteous, prompt and pleasant. Everything you could ask of a vendor. I highly recommend Cand G to anyone needing work on windows and doors.

Work went very smoothly despite having to reschedule a couple times (due to conflicts on my end), but Alan was quite flexible & accommodating on that front. Wasn't a terribly big job (1 full day) and Alan was efficient, professional, and easy to work with.  After getting several estimates from other contractors on Angie's List, we went with Top Notch because Alan's price was reasonable/ logical for the job at hand, as compared to the others which were priced quite high (those estimates were based on the job, rather than on an hourly basis) was clear the others were creating 'a buffer' due to possible variables and/or inexperience. Alan's approach was straightforward, and he communicated in much the same way -- a craftsman who used enough 'non-craftsman' language and terminology to easily get the point across. Will engage Top Notch for some future work on our drawing room.

On both occasions Scott was punctual, professional and courteous. His repairs and workmanship were excellent, and his pricing I considered very fair (and lower than most!). He insisted on e-mailing me a thorough estimate, and when the parts came in lower than expected he passed the savings on to me. He came out both times on a Saturday to accomodate my work schedule. In short, I couldn't be more pleased with his exemplary service!
