    Big O Tires
We go in on a regular basis and have oil changes and things like that. We love them. They're just excellent. It's hard to find auto people you trust because we've gone to some that have done some questionable things. These people are excellent. They don't do work that you don't need. They're excellent. They discuss the work they did and also give a printout.

    AFFORDABLE VEHICLE REPAIR
Since the car worked fine before the work I guess it's hard to tell exactly how it went, but he showed us all the replaced parts. He replaced all the associated parts that are accessible along with the timing belt.

    PRECISE AUTO CARE
Took them three days to determine problem. The documents delivered after completion were hand written and unintelligible. Work was done competently but the process was very unprofessional. Changed oil but used conventional oil w/o asking, and which is not recommended by Mazda.

    Precision Wheels and Restoration
Elijah Zachary is the owner-operator of Precision Wheels and Restoration.  He plies his trade from a mobile facility which he tows behind his truck.  His workshop has everything he needs including an electric generator.  He goes directly to the customer's home or requested meeting spot.  He could repair a customer's rim at night in the middle of the desert.  His trailer contains all tools and equipment necessary to perform minor to significant wheel repair and restoration.  His trailer also doubles as his paint booth.
I contacted Elijah by phone using the number provided from his web site, which I found using a Google search.  On the phone, I described to him my wheel damage and he asked me to send him pictures of the damage so he could accurately assess the necessary restoration effort.  I liked that because it showed me he was careful not to promise results he could not deliver and it allowed him to know exactly what he was dealing with.  I texted him photos and he immediately called me back to explain what he could do for me, approximately how long the work would take and then gave me a quote which I thought was very reasonable.
Elijah arrived on time at my home and then explained exactly what he was going to do and how he was going to do it, including jacking my vehicle to facilitate wheel removal.  I parked my vehicle in my driveway and that is where the work was performed.  My vehicle never had to move.  While Elijah was outside working on my vehicle, I was able to conduct business in my office.  He completed his work on both rims within the time frame originally stated.  His work is incredible.  I could not tell where the former damage was on either of my front rims which looked new.  Not only did Elijah restore both rims to like-new condition, he cleaned the sidewalls of both tires.
Before I called Elijah, I was preparing to replace both rims.  I had never damaged a rim before and I am glad I investigated the repair/restoration option.  Both my rims were restored at my home for less than the replacement cost for a single rim.  Furthermore, I did not have to deal with the delay or hassle of taking my vehicle to an auto shop.  This was the most efficient, cost-effective and stress-free automotive repair I have ever experienced.
Elijah's work is simply outstanding.  His professionalism, work ethic and dedication to customer satisfaction are extraordinary.  I highly recommend Precision Wheels and Restoration to anyone needing rim repair.
    Regards,

Dale was so quick to find out what the problem was with our break lights and tail lights not working.

    Sunshine Service Brake & Alignment
I contacted the provider a total of three time to make an appointment to have an allignment performed on my car.  The first time I contacted the provider was in the morning and I was put on hold for over 30 minutes.  The second time I contacted the provider was in the afternoon.  The same person said that he was busy and he would get right back with me.  Several hours later, prior to closure, I contacted the provider again and spoke with the same person, who again said that he would call me back on the same day.  A day later and I still have not been contacted.

    Big O Tires
I had taken my 2002 Ford Explorer in at the beginning of March to get the left rear hub and bearing replaced. That cost $487. I was told that the bad bearing had caused the rear parking brake shoe linings to become detached. Was told that I could hold off on repairing that if I didn't use the parking brake. I was quoted approximately $120 for one side but that they couldn't tell me if the other side was damaged and it would cost $90 to check. Fine. That's labor and whatever. In June I took car in to get tires balanced and rotated and get the parking brake fixed. Was told that in addition to replacing both parking brake shoes I needed to replace my rear brake pads and that the front rotors needed servicing. Mind you, they had replaced front rotors and front brakes in February all while stating my rear brakes were good as new . They quoted me $700+ to fix everything. When I freaked at the price and told them that they had replaced the front rotors and brakes and had said my rear brakes were totally fine, they said and quot;Oh ok, you can wait a little while on the rear brakes and we'll rough up the rotors for you.and quot; Fine. Thanks.
Yesterday, I went to a different mechanic to replace the rear brakes for me. He charged me parts ($55). When he took the old brake pads off he showed me them compared to the new brakes and there was practically no difference. The indicator line was still very deep. It was obvious that I did not need new rear brakes. He said Big O was just trying to take me for a ride. When he moved to the left rear brake he showed me that the two long bolts that hold the calipers on were GONE. Big O never put them back after they last serviced my vehicle! He explained to me how dangerous that was.
I wrote corporate office a complaint letter and don't expect anything to be done because I know they will just say that it wasn't their oversight. I will never go back to Big O and I will tell everyone I know to never go to them either.

**UDPATE** I did receive a call from Big O from someone named Chuck. He had read the comment I submitted to the Big O office through their website. He was professional and nice on the phone, however, he stated he believed it was all a and quot;misunderstandingand quot;. He did not appear to believe that the bolts had not been placed back into the calipers. He told me that if the bolts weren't in the calipers, there's no way I would be driving. I explained that I had been driving the vehicle since they last serviced it and that there did not appear to be any broken parts of bolt in the calipers so it didn't appear that they had just broken off sometime while I was driving. The mechanic who discovered the missing bolts showed me the setup on the wheel and there was enough tension to keep the calipers in position. He explained that this was typical of a Ford. But without the bolts there's a high chance that the calipers could've fallen off, but it is still possible to drive (obviously because I had been for a few months!) There was a lot of back and forth and there was no admission of oversight by Big O. Nothing was resolved but I appreciated the call back.

    Subaru Specialists
I had a mysterious problem with the car and they couldn’t figure it out. They tried twice so I moved on to another company but overall they did a pretty good. I tried to be fair as possible. Everything was fine. I think price was okay. I haven’t done what they should have done especially car pricing job. I would probably use them again the way it was.

They didn’t charge me much. I’ve only been there twice. I don’t have anything substantives. I think it’s kind of a gimmick or that’s the best way. They actually film their service and show me all the parts but I don’t know all the parts. They actually have cameras all over the place. It seems like it’s something good or maybe less. They have a decent place and have done a good work.

    FRANKS AUTOMOTIVE SVC
I had to wait couple of days because they were pretty busy, but they did a fine job and I was happy with the service. They seemed very knowledgeable and they were able to fix my foreign car without me having to go to the dealer. They also charged less than the dealer.
