    Do you agree that a 900% markup for a replacement part for a refrigerator is excessive and unreasonable? This is what the owner/operator of this business billed us for a part that he had readily available on his truck and in addition to the $150.00 he billed us for his labor (it took Mike an hour to troubleshoot the problem and to install the part) on a routine, non-emergency job (our refrigerator had been down for a week, and we had already tossed out all of the food inside). Mike billed us $400.00 for a Start Relay that I later found online for between $35.00 and $45.00. When contacted to explain the cost disparity between the parts, Mike then claimed that he made a mistake on the invoice and that the installed part should have been billed at $150.00 and that the price of his labor should have been $400.00. When then questioned about his rate of $400/hour, he stated that this is what he charges. I do not believe Mike's services are worth $400/hr. I prefer to support local, small business owners when possible. However, I will not use this individual again.

    I worked with Dana and Matt. Both were very easy and efficient to work with. Dana clarified what our concerns were and what parts we might need. Matt did an exceptional assessment and repair job. Matt not only was quick to size up the issues we were having with our refrigerator, stove and dishwasher but he also gave us an education while he was at it. Once Dana got the necessary parts in, Matt very quickly did installs and repairs. The costs were fair and clearly laid out. As I said to both Dana and Matt, we want them as our 'go to' people when we need our appliances repaired. Honest, efficient, very knowledgeable, friendly.

    I called first thing in the morning and they were able to schedule me in for same day service.

    Edwin, the service technician, was on time and very friendly. He diagnosed the issue and advised me to save money to get a new refrigerator instead of pouring more money into a new compressor and relay on an 8 year old refrigerator. He even gave me tips on buying a new refrigerator and what to look for in brands and features. 

    We will call them again for our other appliances, as they were friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced.

    While replacing a water filter in a Maytag refrigerator should be a simple process, ours was not simple. We bought a replacement filter and could not remove the old filter?it was stuck. Looked at online DIY and learned some filters get stuck and require turning off the water which releases the water pressure before removing. This is a large double door refrigerator with a lower drawer freezer that's squeezed in the refrigerator slot and sits on hardwood flooring. Of course the water shut-off valve is behind the refrigerator. Luckily that's all it took and we did not have to replace the sensor. Richard was helpful explaining how to do it in the future if it ever gets stuck again. We bought the Angie'sList deal for $80. It took less than 30 minutes but worth the money for future reference. Poor refrigerator design and Maytag did not help us. 
    We'd recommend Richard for appliance jobs and will call him again. He's prompt, courteous and a nice person.

    I gave them a deposit for parts on 5/23/2014. I then went on vacation end of June/ early July and called them when I returned. They said that they've been meaning to get back to me but never did (talked to them twice). When I called them again to see what was going on, I found that the phone number was disconnected. They told me that they needed to special order parts (before I left for vacation) and said that they needed to get the parts directly from the manufacturer and that's the only place they could get them. After further research, I found that they were common parts that could easily be ordered from multiple locations. I ended up ordering the parts and doing it myself but they ran away with my deposit.

    Arrived on time.  Immediately told me he was sure he was going to run into some snags.  Did not bring a helper, so my friend visiting had to help him lift the oven.  Had my friend not been here....?  His cell phone rang constantly and he answered every  call.  I felt his phone should have been turned off or calls should have been forwarded to another number for someone else to pick up while he is working on a job. Was not professional in that regard.  Appliances are all working and look good.

    Randy is fantastic ! He repaired the refrigerator for a very reasonable fee. While Randy was there, I asked if he would mind taking a look at the dryer, which made a 'banging' noise when drying. He did that for me, for a very reasonable fee . When the dryer started making noises again, Randy came back and fixed it at no extra charge!!! I will use Arrowrock Appliance exclusively in the future. These services were rendered at a rental property of mine.

    I called at 8am and scheduled an appointment between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm the SAME day! The technician, Edwin, showed up at the appointed time and performed a maintenance service on our LG washer and dryer that we had just purchased from a friend. He ensured the dryer had the proper 220v cord, serviced both, including cleaning the washer with an enzyme tablet, and cleared out the dryer vent all the way outside our home.
    Prompt, courteous, and professional service at a reasonable price...what more could I ask for!

    Edwin initially checked out our dishwasher failure and gave me the recommendation to buy a new one vs. fix the old one based on the part/labor cost. I then had him install the new dishwasher I bought and he was on time and very professional. His charge was very reasonable as well. He helped me avoid making a bad decision to repair the old one and was an honest man. I would recommend him highly for any appliance issues.

    Unfortunately, my VERY old dishwasher could not be repaired, so I had to pay the service charge (I had been warned about this when I made the appointment). The technician (Edwin) who came to my house was OUTSTANDING. He was honest, friendly, competent, and informative. He made great recommendations on brand and store where I should purchase a replacement. I really appreciated his honesty and friendliness. I will ask for him specifically the next time I need large appliance repair.
