  • I hired this company to move my belongings and place them in a storage facility. The work was handled by Donna and she was very nice to me before, during and after the work was completed. She also gave me a great price for the work and i was very happy with what she was able to do for me.

  • We don't have any problems with them at all. We've been using them about 10-15 years now and everyone has been very nice and friendly. When we go in there, when they see us, they always acknowledge us or if we're walking by, they say hi.

  • I was so pleased with the work these young men did.
It was a hot day.  They worked steadily.
Everything was carefully wrapped in heavy moving blankets.
I had several fragile antiques I was very worried about.
Also several pieces of furniture had glass tops and glass shelves.
    Everything arrived in excellent shape.
One piece of glass did break.  However, the company reimbursed us for it.
They unpacked smoothly, and helped me patiently as I had them rearrange furniture to my satisfaction.
I would certainly use them again.

  •  Rented a 10X10 storage unit, bought wardrobe boxes, a lock, packing material They don't explain that they don't bill you, they don't explain that they don't prorate if you move out early, yes it's in the fine print of your contract, but you are rushed while there so not really time to read.  I rented from 3/18/2011 and I did get their 1st Mo. free (supposedly).  Online making the reservation I was suppose to only pay $23.00 move-in plus a lock.  Well NOT, I had to pay $149.58 to pay up to 5/1/2011.  Being busy moving from the East to West coast in addition to being out of town, I missed making the payment on 5/1.  No email bill, however, an email late charge notice.  I paid the late fee immediately and instead of paying to 6/1 I wanted to pay to 6/21 (my move out date), they gave me issue but finally let me pay up to 7/1 because they don't prorate.  I went to my unit the day I paid to 7/1 and they had placed a lock on my storage unit.  They didn't bother to let me know that when I was paying and they knew I was driving down to my unit.  I had to walk all the way back to the office and then wait for them to remove their lock.  I cancelled the insurance on the unit that day also since I found out from a friend that my homeowner's coverage was plenty to have.  The next week I got a late charge notice again.  They informed me that the $5.42 insurance credit was done wrong on their part and I needed to bring them back the $5.42 because their main corporate office would have to refund it.  Once I bring the $5.42 back then they'd remove the late charge.  All I can say is "I won't use them again" and Extra Space Storage here in CA has been nothing but wonderful.  I totally recommend them over Public Storage.  BTW Extra Space Storage does prorate, does send email and written billings, drives you personally on a golf cart to preview your unit and they charge less per month.
