I hired this company to move my belongings and place them in a storage facility. The work was handled by Donna and she was very nice to me before, during and after the work was completed. She also gave me a great price for the work and i was very happy with what she was able to do for me.

This was a pretty bad experience. They were on time but it soon became apparent that the 2 junior members of the team did not have their head in the game. They needed to be told more than once what needed to go and didn't load things into the truck even after being told that items were going. Both by us and the lead man. For example they did not load the stack of art work leaning against the living room wall, the area rugs, a lamp and several other things. We were tired of dealing with them by this time and decided to move these things in our car. But that was before I realized that they had not taken the large standing ice chest and patio furniture that I had specifically told them to pack. I called the head mover and told him he needed to come back and get the things left behind. He did. But they left a large roll of plastic wrap that they use to wrap furniture was on the patio. I guess it was inexpensive and not worth worrying about When they unloaded at the house Some items that very obviously belonged in the shed were brought into the house and vice versa. Boxes were unloaded into the living room for us to move to the correct room. My daughter was handling things at that end and was very frustrated. In addition a piece of furniture was damaged. I have moved many times and it is always stressful. A good moving crew makes all the difference. So does a bad one and this was the worst I have had. They arrived on time. I originally thought the price was good but so much time was wasted that I don't think the value matched the price. All in all a disappointment.

This is indeed a top shelf company, because they make their customers happy by providing high quality services and competitive rates at the same time. They took good care of my belongings, wrapping mattresses in plastic and other furniture in moving blankets, delivered the stuff promptly and spotlessly.

We downsized from a large home to a smaller condo.  Danny, Steven and David arrived on time and worked long and hard.  They were always courteous and respectful to us and to our possessions.  They went above and beyond on our move.  They were great and we would use them again.

No suprises from them...that was nice considering our other moving experience was fraught with 'extra' charges.  I would use them again in a heartbeat, they were not 'students', they were moving professionals.   They wrapped some very delicate statues and china very well.  I was worried about the piano, but not need, they apparently move them regulary. I was amazed at how quickly they could box  items, a similar box that took me an hour to wrap (and not too well) was finished by one man in less than15 minutes.  It was like they had done this 10,000 times and it was part of some muscle memory exercise...very impressive.  Our delicate little figurines were double- packed, they wrapped them, put them in a cushioned small box, and next put those small boxes inside a larger cushioned box - a box within a box !  It worked, none of the collectibles were damaged or broken.
The same guys who packed our items also moved our items - same team- that was great because i have often heard that you have another bunch of strangers show up to mover the items... my wife was very happy to see the same hard working guys the next day come to move us.

    Unique Moving Inc
It went well.  Two people did the job.  One man and one women.  They had to dissemble the table and then reassemble and didn't have an electric screwdriver.  This was my only complaint.  They didn't charge more time BUT if they had I would not have been happy about it.   There were over 50 screws which took them a long time using a manual screwdriver.   Other than that, they did a good job.

    Condor Moving & Hauling
They only moved half the items; after 2.5 hours labor, they claimed that they needed to go pay a bill, then disappeared, after receiving payment for their time to that moment.  According to a phone call, the person said that he hurt his knee and needed to get help; he then refused to talk further and hung up.
Do not, under any circumstance, hire these people.  They ripped me off.

Both crews were extremely professional and took extra care with my things. Many of the boxes arrived sopping wet but I was quickly compensated for the things that were beyond repair . Not a bit of hassle involved.

    Meathead Movers
The consultation seemed to go well with 'K.C', but on the actual packing day and moving day, nothing was as promised.  The princess packers cost $177 an hour for 3 people, plus supplies. I paid for 3 hours, they left after 1.45 hours and said they were "done". There was a lot more packing they could have done  that I got tired of pointing out to them and so I quit arguing and let them leave. They showed up without wardrobe boxes  as promised so no clothes got packed at all. I would not recommend them, they are slow and a waste of money. After I explained the situation to the supervisor, he offered a $50 refund?big deal!
The movers were supposed to be six guys, only five showed up. It was a super hot day so I understood when they worked pretty slowly. They worked  steadily but they certainly never 'jogged' in between carrying things like I was told. The estimate from K.C. after spending a couple hours inventorying the whole house was "4 hours, 5 at the very most".  I told him okay that I needed to stay in my $1600 budget. Their estimate was a lot higher than other moving companies, but I thought six guys would be fast and it would balance out. Not so?The move took over 7 hours and the bill was atrocious.
I would not recommend them, or I would at least not count on the initial estimate and be prepared to pay $$$$$$

    You Move Me
It all started when I called and spoke to Abi at the dispatch center. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He asked me about what I had in each room and provided a preliminary estimate. He suggested an onsite estimate with the Operations Manager would be the best way to provide the most accurate quote.
Within a few hours I received a welcome call from John the Operations Manager to introduce himself and confirm our estimate for the following day. He was very pleasant and offered to bring me a beverage to the onsite estimate. I told him that wouldn't be necessary, but it was a great gesture. The following day John gave me a call 30 minutes prior to arrival and again offered to grab me a Starbucks because there was one in the area. This time I took him up on his offer and he brought me a caramel Frappuccino. When he arrived he was very polite and had on slacks and a button up shirt....not what I expected from a moving company. Not only did he bring me something he had little dog treats for my dog Hershey.  As we walked through each room John took inventory and detailed notes on his iPad. Asking questions to make sure no detail went unnoticed. He gave me packing pointers and suggestions on how to make the move the most efficient AND AFFORDABLE. He even left a few moving boxes "on the house". I received my estimate within a few hours and had questions and called John at 7PM expecting to just leave a voicemail but he picked up and gladly answered all my questions. I happily booked my move with You Move Me.
On moving day they didn't skip a beat. I received a call 30 minutes before the start time with an ETA. Kyle, the Crew Lead offered to bring a beverage. He brought my sister and I both coffees, which hit the spot at 8:00AM. Again, to my surprise all the movers were clean cut and wore polo shirts that were tucked in. Not you stereotypical movers. After a quick walk-through they got right to work. The crew of Kyle, Cristian, Tony and Mike packed my kitchen up in no time, wrapped all my furniture in moving pad and loaded up the truck. Before you knew it they were unloading the final piece. I have moved numerous times and this was the easiest, most stress-free experience I ever had. The icing on the cake was the cute plant they gave me as a home-warming gift. Such a thoughtful gesture.
If you are looking for movers that CARE you need to give YOU MOVE ME a call. From a customer service aspect they were everything you DON'T EXPECT from a moving company. They were helpful, available when I had questions, punctual and kept their promises. Everyone I dealt with was amazing and so professional. They brought me coffee not ONCE but TWICE and gave me a plant as a gift. As movers they paid attention to detail and padded and wrapped all my furniture to prevent damages. I would  highly recommend YOU MOVE ME to anyone needing moving services
