    George ultimately couldn't perform the work, because it was more gutter-related, but he spent 30 minutes advising me about what to do and recommended a gutter specialist. Took his time and was extremely pleasant and helpful, despite realizing that the job was not right for him. I highly recommend.

    They showed up for the estimate on time and gave me the estimate within 30 minutes of the inspection. After I accepted their offer, they emailed me a copy of the invoice (to be paid upon completion), their insurance information and their licensing information. This indicated to me that this company was professional and on top of it. Their workman arrived on the date and exact time I was told. He was very quick and efficient in installing the vents on my roof. At one point at the end, I was just about to ask him if he was going to paint the vents, as promised. I think I got the first word of "hey" out of my mouth as I watched the worker reach from his pick-up truck bed with paint cans in his hands. After that it was just, "never mind." He was on top of it and completely knew what he was doing. I would definitely recommend these guys. I turned down a lower bid because I felt more comfortable with Jobe and I don't regret it.

    Art at Accurate Roofing did a great job. Part of my roof has a leak while it was raining here in LA. I called Art based on the reviews I saw, and he came out immediately to give me an extremely fair estimate. We scheduled the work to be done the next day, and there have no problems since. Definitely recommend Art and Accurate Roofing !

    Remember - no leaking over the previous many years. In the first rainfall, November 2016, I had water intrusion. I called Roof Rx immediately; they inspected and said it was a window; not their problem. I had the window resealed. Next rainfall, which was harder: much water intrusion; a second inspection by Roof Rx: again, not their work, but they found another new leak which they agreed to patch. Next rainfall was huge (Christmas 2016) and we had a flood which resulted in 250 sq ft of drywall removal, flooring destroyed, mold, fans, etc. At this point I called a different roofer as I had lost confidence in Roof Rx. That roofer said that the Roof Rx work was faulty and took photos. When I informed Roof Rx they elevated the case and on the new reinspection they agreed that some work was faulty or had failed. They continue to maintain, however, no responsibility for any of the earlier leaks. no responsibility for any damages, and expected me to be satisfied with a warranty repair. One Roof Rx employee actually told me the problem was not their work but the heavy rainfall and they could hardly be blamed for that. Think about that explanation. Isn't the point of roof maintenance to keep out the rain? And recall, it was August when I had the repairs done, so they cannot use the excuse of being overburdened by what must have been a crazy Winter for their business. My attempts to come to terms with them over the total hard costs to me (less than 10k -- just documented costs) were initially successful. We had an agreement in which they would pay for some (not all) of my damages. I agreed to avoid court. We were waiting for HQ to sign off but in the subsequent weeks they have stopped returning my calls and emails. If you are wondering why there are no other negative reviews on Angie's List, you will want to know that a non-disclosure agreement was part of our negotiation. And the final twist: I am now attempting Small Claims Court but Roof Rx in California does not have an Agent to Serve listed on the CA Secretary of State's website. That person, at least in California, resigned in February according to the California Secretary of State's website.

    I really do not understand the "great" reviews on this site for PHB... I really think someone from "Angie's list" should take a closer look at the reviews (IP addresses, locations, etc...) because I truly believe that most, if not all, of the "A" ones are fake! This was by far, the worst experience we have ever had with any contractor/builder ever! Instead of the 4 months promised, it took them almost a full year to complete the job. In all this time, the communication was horrible, the first crew was composed of totally unskilled, sloppy and lazy people not even close to the promises we got before the contract started. After the crew was changed, and also after we have received 2 (Two) "Lien Notifications", which means their subcontractors were not paid and I was going to be forced to pay, the work started again. For what I have been told by the new subcontractor, a lot of staff done by the first crew needed to be redone, otherwise we would not have passed the inspections. On top of that, the owner (Tamir) is extremely rude, and has no idea how to talk to a customer. Be very careful with their salesmen as well, mine was a guy called Shai... They will lie and deceive and say anything just so you sign the contract. Oh, and talking about the contract. If, after all you read on this site about this awful company, you still want to hire them, do yourself a service and have a lawyer (specialized in contracts) to read your contract. Also go on and read everything there is to read about hiring contractors and California laws and follow those rules step by step. I am telling you this because working with PHB comes with a lot of surprises... one of them being that pretty much all your phone conversations will be recorded!!! Yes, RECORDED... just in case they will ever need to sue YOU! They are getting ready for everything, but providing you with a well done job and a good customer service. But I strongly advice you NOT to hire them! I hired them because they were the cheapest, but I have learned my lesson... Next time I'll pay a little bit more! I am not blaming the guys and gals at the office, they only do what they're told... But I am amazed that they're still in business! They are NOT looking for customers, they're just interested in making the SALE! Anyway, this is just a bit of what happened during my dealing with PHB. Again, I will never hire them ever! Worst company I have ever dealt with! THE WORST!

    First I have to say this is such a good company, we are so lucky to find them.

    We had a roofer we had hired before White Knight Home Services (a referral from my sister, thanks sis) and all they did was take our deposit almost half of the total job ( I know rookie mistake) and just caused so much frustration by not communicating with us, sending only one worker at a time to work on the roof and then we find out they didn't even pull a permit. Needless to say we fired them on the spot and after repeated attempts to get our money back we had to contact the Contractors State License Board and file a complaint.

    We then called Eli at White Knight after reading their great reviews .Told him our story and he showed up the next day to take a look at what the other roofer had done (not much besides a mess). He looked over everything and had given us a price that was a little bit more then we expected but we decided to go with him anyways. A few days later he showed up with a crew of 6 and a permit in hand, and his workers began working at an amazing rate they had completed the roof within 4 days including inspections. He did run in with some minor extra work that he informed us about but he did not charge us a penny extra.

    After such great work we had him install for us Solar panels and attic insulation.

    Eli and White Knight were amazing you have to try these guys definitely worth every penny and super honest!!!

    We signed a contract back in October.  I assumed it was off because I didn't hear back from him.  He gave me two days notice.  I haven't heard from him since.  Getting a response out of him initially was tough.  Getting the work actually done, really hard.

    Miles was easy to communicate with and was responsive to scheduling as necessary.  I had to order a fan so I was able to talk with him about the specs when he came over for the initial service call.  He charges for this but the amount is credited on work that they perform.  Once I had the fan, I contacted him and he came back to install it in within a week.  He did most of the other repairs that day in an efficient manner. I still had one light that I had ordered and wasn't delivered so he came back one more time to install this.
