6-week/twice a week prescription; The qualified PT I was assigned to evaluated my knee situation at every session checking for muscle stiffness and did massage work to loosen the stiffness. Following that, she had me go through a series of exercises related to the two areas requiring therapy. She also assigned exercises to be performed daily at home. At each session she added new exercises and increased the workout intensity. Following each session was a 10 minute workout on an exercycle. The Blake PT was completely professional and highly competent, as was the Blake office staff. 0 out of pocket expense. Blake is a member of my insurance plan and takes Medicare as well.

Tiffany is a truly gifted Bodyworker and Craniosacral Therapist with deep knowledge and intuition about the body and works mulit-dimensionally on many levels. We have worked on many physical injuries and traumas I have had throughout my life helping me regain alignment and balance and she is an incredibly compassionate support on the mental and emotional levels as well as the spiritual. I feel safe, understood and deeply cared for in our sessions. I even have new eyes in my head after experiencing double vision and vertigo off and on for years! She is truly a healer!

Dr. Boykoff is a gem. He has a terrific manner, totally put me at ease, and he really cares about his patients. I felt like I was in a time warp to Leave it to Beaver. After my toenail was removed I went for a few follow-up visits; they took only a few minutes. Most doctors would've charged my insurance for a full visit (and me for my full co-pay); Dr. Boykoff didn't charge me for visits that were ridiculously short (like, under a minute!). Not many doctors would do that.
The surgery went well, with no complications or side effects afterwards, so I'm really happy I had him do it. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone.

Dr. Yuan is a brilliant surgeon.  He combines superior technical skill with a remarkable aesthetic sense.  His work is naturalistic and subtle.  He is a very kind, patient doctor; he explains everything thoroughly and takes as much time as you need.  I was very pleased with the outcome of both surgeries.  In a town over-flowing with plastic surgeons, there isn't anybody else that I would go to.

I went to Medical Group-Women Physicians, Women's in Manhattan Beach. I saw Dr. Barbara Schulz, who is a Board Certified OB/Gyn physician. I am very happy with my first appointment experience. Dr. Schulz was very polite, professional and I felt very comfortable interacting with her and the staff. Everyone was polite, friendly and very nice. I will return to this office for my future appointments because my first appointment went so well.  A+

I would relegate The Southern California Gastroenterologist Group in Santa Monica negative stars if that was an option.
Dr. Corlin performed my colonoscopy. I had been
suffering from bouts of diverticulitis. When I had an onset of the condition I
tried to make an appointment and left several messages that went unreturned.
When I complained I was told a new phone system had been installed and wasn't
working properly. But when I was finally able to see the Dr. his treatment was
excellent and I haven't had an outbreak until last week. It had been three
When I called his office I left no fewer than 6
messages after finally figuring out their voice-prompt jail on their phone
system. I left one on Dr. Corlin's v/m, on his nurse Roxy's v/m, on the
appointment scheduling v/m. Several hours later I made the same trio of v/m's.
No one called me back that day.
The next day I tried to live a message for the
Dr.'s nurse (Roxy) and the phone rang and range, I hung up after a dozen rings.
I called the front desk and they promised to and quot;chase somebody downand quot; to
    call me back.
I then recieved a call from the office manager
(Miko Williams) who denied that any messages had been left (my iPhone logs show
otherwise). Then I head from the director of operations (Beverly) who too
denied that any messages had been received. In an abrupt about face Beverly
then contended that Dr. Corlin had retrieved the message early that morning,
but had no explanation as what the Dr. had done with the message and why no one
    had returned my call.
I think Dr. Corlin is a talented physician and
he has managed my diverticulitis beautifully in the past. But cracking the code
of getting through the voice prompts and getting your call returned is next to
When I complained about the operations I was
    dropped as a patient.

My husband and I have been long-time patients of the South Bay Family Medical Group in Torrance. We specifically followed Dr. Wallis to SBFMG because we liked his style and professionalism that was comfortable with being a and quot;realand quot; doctor that you could pose questions to without feeling like he was going to talk down to you. Since then my impressions of the entire team there and Dr. Wallis have changed drastically. The organization, including most of the care team (the public facing representatives SBFMG) have ZERO professionalism and lack the basic skills to interact courteously with patients and spouses of patients. I was hung up on today by a member of Dr Wallis's care team after trying to stress to her that my husband has been trying to get a prescription filed by SBFMG for almost 5 weeks and certainly 3 weeks since his physical. Although he has called and spoken directly to the same care team member, she has NO record of their conversations and no near-term recollection of the commitments made to clear up the problem with the prescription. When I told her I wanted a call back from Dr Wallis, she snidely said and quot;I'll give him your number and I'm sure he'll jump right on that.and quot; This type of behavior should just not be tolerated period. The job market is flooded with skilled professionals who are screaming for a solid job, while we have clinical administrators talking down to and hanging up on customers/patients. From reading the YELP ratings and comments I am not the only customer of SBFMG to have complained about the attitude and arrogance of this organization. The lack of personal care and the inattention to detail and follow-through draws into question the core competence of this medical organization in delivering trusted health care. This issue I am referencing is merely symptomatic of a much larger problem. I am writing this because I am so mad that I am shaking from the arrogance and privilege that the care team continues to take when talking with a patient. Something needs to be done and soon. I have already left a voicemail with the Torrance Memorial Director of Clinical Care as this is only one area where both my husband and I have been repeatedly disappointed.

He is a superb diagnostician. He knew what my problems are before referring me to a specialist who always confirms same. He is known in the Los Angeles medical world as a "doctor's doctor." He is thorough, sympathetic and attentive, has a sense of humor and asks all the right questions. He is an "old-fashioned" MD, if you're in the hospital he will come to your bedside. He works long hours and will call you discuss results of your tests as soon as they are back from the lab. Cannot recommend him more highly. He a Board certified Internist and Nephrologist.

Wonderfully. Dr. Lenna Martyak and all of her office staff were compassionate, kind, informative, and I would recommend them to anyone. Already have recommended them to three people who plan to make appointments with her in the future.

She was very open and honest and took my crazy questions seriously. We talked about a wide variety of topics including how bad smoking is for your health (there was a poster on the wall in the exam room) to drinking wine after a long day to being tested for blood type. I hate having my blood taken, but she did it efficiently and painlessly while keeping up a stream of conversation to keep my mind off what was happening at the time.
