  • Extremely punctual, professional, amenable to partially disabled person, friendly, listens and communicates well. I never knew if he already knew how to do all the things or if just figures it out. We’re very happy with all the work he has done and will continue to do for us! We always knew what we were paying for. Estimates provided before work was done.

  • It went great! Carlos and his crew are the ultimate professionals. Our job completed quickly, without the usual contractor delays. The crew is impeccable in their workmanship. At every step they consulted with us to make sure that we were satisfied with the layout. Carlos also has a tile/stone store in the valley. His wife worked with us to find the colors and look we desired at a discounted price. The end of each day they cleaned up the space and left it spotless, including protecting our wood floors throughout the house. Carlos even recommended or brought in subcontractors, like the plumber and shower door people that are equally as prompt and cost effective. Our job was completed in 6 days. Overall, we are very satisfied with the value, cost and result of this remodel. I look forward to our next job with Carlos!

  • Greg and Matt went above and beyond to get wrought iron rails designed and installed in order to create much needed handicap access from our house to our back deck. Even though they were booked, they came over each day and worked until dark and worked on the weekend to get it done for us. The price was very competitive and I can't thank these guys enough for their kindness and consideration all the while working so hard to get it done for us.

  • Navid was GREAT! He was a little bit early, called in advance as I asked him to, identified the problem (before he got out of the car), thoughtfully assessed the best approach and fixed it quickly! He gave the whole system a once-over and lubed it up so it was quieter and ran better and pointed out the work that will need to be done in the future, but didn't pressure to do that now. Great experience. I would definitely hire him again for any garage door issues!

  • The people that work at "Affordable Water Heaters" ARE CROOKS!!! that prey upon the elderly.. My 85 year old father-in-law on Social Security called to say his water heater is leaking- they came out, said it needed to be replaced (8yrs old) that they happened to have one in their truck, and it would ONLY be $2675.00 but they would get a $50.00 senior citizen discount. Well they replaced it in under 2 hours; they didn't charge sales tax; didn't give an itemized bill, didn't detail ANY of the cost break down. When I called to suggest that $2625 for a water heater was well over $1000 more than the job was worth they laughed. When I suggested they were taking advantage of someone 85 years old and unable to actually pay $2,625- they said he signed a contract. When I suggested I would write this up on Yelp, they said "we don't bother to police Yelp comments." The water heater they installed is list priced at $1100, is available for $650, and less than 2 hours of labor shouldn't be $750/hour. So if you like CROOKS, want to be taken advantage of and are Stupid or too old to figure out you are being Robbed- Call "Affordable Water Heaters"

  • I rarely write reviews - except when inspired to do so. It usually aligns with an extremely positive experience or the opposite. This experience was the opposite. Only purchase from this company if you are willing to take a monetary loss over any issues that may arise with your purchase. Here’s the timeline of our UN-positive experience: 1. Pool heater arrives damaged 2. PSU argues we did not follow shipping protocol (untrue) 3. PSU makes us pay for return shipping 4. PSU freighter choice shows up without proper lifting equipment 5. Father (75 years old) helps load heater onto truck 6. Father (75 years old) complains and is verbally assaulted by PSU freighter choice 7. PSU refunds us only a portion of our total 8. PSU charges us a restock fee for a damaged heater they can’t resell 9. Three week experience thus far 10. We’re out $340 and still need a new pool heater The entire experience is documented with emails and pictures. They took a defensive stance on a shipping procedural technicality that simply wasn’t true. This company plays defense over costumer service and the right to get what you paid for.

  • The results are beautiful, and the C-Bek crew worked really well and dilgently... always on time, polite, and cleand up each day. Have already asked for estimates for 3 more areas, so will definitely work with them again! Plus they're licensed, and insured.

  • Wonderful! John was responsive, available, on time, did the job quickly and efficiently and was very nice to work with. Would recommend his services and we will definitely use his handyman services in the future!

  • June 2018. We're a happy repeat customer and "Alex" has been the plumber servicing our home. In the past and for these repairs, he has been very courteous, carefully explains the work that he will be doing, and leaves the work areas as clean (or cleaner) than when he started. (1) The water hammer turned out to be a failing fill valve in the toilet for the master bath and relatively easy to fix. After replacing and testing the new fill valve repeatedly, it was clear the water hammer had ended and we've had no repeat since then. (2) For the garbage disposal, Alex showed us the significant amount of corrosion inside and outside of the disposal, especially around the support collar, noting that it would likely fail sooner rather than later. We agreed. He replaced the disposal and it works just fine. (3) For the earthquake gas shutoff valve, Alex inspected the area at our gas shutoff at the rear of to our house and also around the gas meter in the alley behind the house. He said the gas meter area was too exposed to vibration from any vehicles that used the alley, or jostling by anyone working or passing through the alley, and was too likely to be triggered inadvertently, while the area by the existing gas shutoff at the rear of our house was well protected. We reviewed his estimate (see below) and agreed with the price. Alex came back three days later with the proper parts and installed the new earthquake valve. (4) Estimates: For the water hammer and garbage disposal he estimated 2 hours labor (at $180 per hour), plus parts (toilet fill valve and new garbage disposal); the actual total came to about $550 including tax. For the earthquake gas shutoff valve, he estimated 5 hours labor plus parts and quoted $900 to $1000 total. The actual time was a bit less than 5 hours, but the materials were higher; with tax, the total exceeded $1000, but he capped his bill at the $1000 estimate.

  • They arrived on time, did a professional installation that involved a few tricks to make it work and removed the old heaters, capped the pipes and wall boarded the empty spaces. They did everything in 2 days and made sure it was working correctly. Love the system for both heat and AC. They are a Mitsubishi dealer, which is rated among the best products for ductless systems, and their price was very competitive (lowest of 4 bids)
