  • A top shelf experience. It was very easy to make an appointment, and to our amazement, they ACTUALLY ARRIVED ON TIME. The technician, Ed, was friendly and had a lot of good suggestions about how to save us money and upgrade our electrical. The repairs are perfect, the price was fair, and everything was done on a iPad, which made it all go very smoothly. Then we received a follow-up call to make sure everything went well. It was excellent.

  • Lighthouse Painting was hired based on the outstanding reviews on this website. Our experience with Lighthouse was difficult and the workmanship was disappointing. The crew, led by owner Nick Datillo, did a poor job on our renovation project. When presented with our concerns throughout the project, Mr. Datillo was argumentative and disrespectful. He blamed the problems on a lack of communication, even though either my spouse or I were here all day every day guiding the crew. Mr. Datillo stopped by for a cursory inspection only once during the two weeks his crew was here. He has refused to correct the outstanding issues, leaving us to pay for an additional contractor to fix them. A partial list of the issues: - the dishwasher was left covered in paint after being improperly wrapped for adjacent cabinet spraying - the refrigerator door was dented during the course of the project - paint applied to a stucco repair cracked the next day as the compound was given insufficient time to cure - drywall repair at an interior back door was left unfinished - drywall compound splatters and paint drips throughout house were not cleaned up - door frame trim was cracked and damaged upon removal, and then sloppily puttied when reinstalled - drywall repair on kitchen ceiling was left unfinished - existing baseboard was not removed for the buildout of a new closet, and instead framed and drywalled over - the opening for the closet door was too large despite the the door assembly being on property throughout the project - bathroom cabinet doors were not sanded before painting, leaving previous drip marks showing - bathroom cabinet door hinges were painted over causing the doors to not close fully - a bath vanity niche was not built to plan despite plan drawings given to both the company owner and the crew - a niche built for kitchen cabinetry was not plumb despite the cabinetry sitting on site for measurement from the day work began - switches and outlets were not covered during drywalling and sanding, leaving them coated with drywall compound and dust - paint was spilled on a rug, ruining it - the crew left their lunch garbage out every day for us to dispose of - the crew was disrespectful of our both working from home, playing music and singing loudly throughout the day

  • David Ifergan and the team at IND Construction are phenomenal to work with. Responsive, supportive and committed to helping your vision become your reality. David is candid, transparent and fair. The work is top notch and he truly cares. Virtually every person on the project works for IND Construction. No games, no headaches. Time proven results.

  • Chris Carter renovated a house for an investor as a flip house, which I ended up purchasing. We were told that all permits had been acquired for the renovation. About a year after purchasing, I noticed some small cracks in the ceiling, but another contractor that did work on something else told me they looked cosmetic only, so I didn’t worry about them. As time went on, these cracks grew much larger. I recently hired a structural engineer to take a look. He discovered that Chris had removed load bearing walls without adding proper support. This is something that should have been caught during inspections for a permit, so when I checked the records to pull the permits, I discovered there weren’t any. Chris had only gotten a permit for an addition he did on the house, but not for the structural changes inside the original house. This is illegal and dangerous. The repairs are going to cost me upwards of $10k. I have tried calling Chris and have left him voicemails, but he has not returned my calls.

  • The experience of working with Pristine Construction greatly exceeded my expectations. At least one of the owners was on site every day, and from the moment construction started they did not skip a day of work. Everybody was friendly and knowledgeable. I can't imagine hiring another company in the future.

  • We found Adam through several web sites and we thought he can be a perfect match for our home remodeling project. We hired him to remodel our master bathroom, master bedroom and kitchen after a while that we thought on how to do it, what to do and collect ideas. Adam set with us and heard everything we want and on our second meeting, he brought additional ideas that improved our thoughts and made the remodeling much better. The work also included the removal of 2 columns at the kitchen area; redesign and rebuilt the whole kitchen with all the new countertops and backslashes. In the master bedroom and bathroom Adam demolished it to the grounds and rebuilt it based on what we wanted and needed. During the remodeling work, we were not at the house and we counted completely on the communication skills of Adam and frankly enough… his communication skills were perfect for us with a lot of daily calls and texts that often came with current pictures of the whole remodeling progress. We highly recommend Adam.

  • In August 2017 we hired Jacob Levy to do a bathroom remodel and install custom windows, move our front door.etc. We ended up doing more renovations of course, including new kitchen, new floors, lights etc. (120,000.00 plus ) Most of our custom color Milgard Tuscany windows were scratched & frames chipped during the install and stucco process. I pointed this out to Jacob, several times and his response was , we’re not finished yet and you complain too much and your house is just old. While my hubby was away on business one of his demo guys cornered me in my living room after everyone had gone to the truck and tried to grab and kiss me. Super creepy as all of the window were covered and our stuff was piled to the ceiling in the middle of the room so I didn't have a way out. I told his foreman that I did not want that man there ever again, but sure enough that demo worker was back two days later. When I told Jacob he screamed at me like I was a child ,”that’s what Im here for” and never apologized for the event. When I called him on it, he again yelled and replied “you are scary are you on medication? When my husband called him about this he was full of apologies of course. Our inquiries regarding several structural issues that occurred due to lack of proper project management, were met with his refusal to make changes until we put up a fight. He lied to us about building codes for both the bathroom and kitchen and tried to pass off cheap and non functional cabinet accessories for my custom kitchen. His reply, “write the name of the spices on the top of each jar. He actually threatened to put a lien on my house because we refused to accept 28” wood lazy susans to replace the 32 inch plastic ones he installed, in spaces that were custom built for 32 models. His response, “they don't come in wood in that size” Ummm, and who wants a toilet 4 inches from the tub and spice racks that don’t fit the spices? He began demanding final payment in January threatening legal action and the job was not complete. HE ACTUALLY VIDEO TAPED A PRIVATE EMOTIONALLY (DRAMA) MOMENT BETWEEN MY FRIEND AND MYSELF AND THREATENED ME WITH IT! !!!!! AFTER he sent me a FAKE text that a Lien had been put on my house we filed against him with the BBB and CSLB. ( At that point, I owed him ONLY $1556.00) The job just wrapped up March 2018……..Ultimately the work was pretty okay in the end. The crew was good, but needed proper project management. We just had to watch everything and call him out, stick to our guns and make him change the errors AND HOLD THOSE LAST FEW DOLLARS. Everything was a fight and insults. Jacob BULLIED and tried to strong arm us and did not do all he was contracted to do. You can't fire a contractor for how he treats you as long as the work is getting done.

  • We are still pinching ourselves every time we walk into our new, beautiful kitchen! Thanks to Nathan, Mike and his great team for making what is supposed to be a nightmare into a great experience and for giving us the outcome we could only dream about. Nathan said his goal was for us to be 110% happy… and we are! From Nathan’s designs and constant reassurances, to Mike’s “can-do” attitude, to Sabino’s expertise, to Milton’s perfectionist painting, to Faustino’s friendly smile and Jesus and David’s consistent clean-up, we couldn’t have been more pleased with the whole Pristine family and would recommend them to anyone. They are not the cheapest in the market, and don’t apologize for that; but we wanted our project completed professionally, with attention to detail and on time and Pristine truly delivered!

  • We got two bids from other highly rated companies, and decided with 3Angle because they understood our vision, and worked with our budget the best. We never had an issues with communication, they were always very responsive via email, text and phone. Unlike other contractors we have dealt with in the past, our experience was so stress free. We couldn't be happier with the way our remodel turned out!

  • Luxcess Home by SOD Builders managed the remodeling of our house after we had a fire that destroyed most of the house. Our home required to remodel completely the kitchen area, bedrooms and the garage. It also required to reframe several sections in order to bring it to a livable stage. Allen and his team did all the hard work while the office took care of all the permits, insurance, orders and more…. Luxcess Home by SOD Builders is a truly pleasure company to work with. During the remodeling, they went out of their way so many times to make sure we will get the highest quality and functionality of the work from start to finish.
