    YD Construction & Development, Inc.
Yoav is the owner and he took me through the whole process and explained budgets and timelines with tons of patience. He wanted me to be happy. Once the project got started, he was on site constantly and totally made me feel like I mattered, even though I knew he had other projects going on. The finished project was incredible. The house breathes in ways I never imagined and the flow is amazing. Turns out he went above and beyond, too. He painted the house, put in better-quality windows, and even advised on landscaping ideas. And he did it all on budget. HIRE THIS MAN!

    BG Construction & Remodeling Inc
First of all the end result is beautiful and our house has been completely transformed from an aged, used and tired design to an open, inviting and modern layout with improved natural light, better utilization of space and creation of additional areas such as the laundry room, pantry, and enlarged walk-in closets. This was achieved without increasing the square footage of the home, but rather with a more efficient use existing areas. Joseph Giram, the contractor, is imaginative, resourceful and responsive, and has a wonderful crew of people working for him. Joseph helped us with most of the redesign issues (he did use a draftsman for the early design phase prior to approval of the plans) and his suggestions were invariably very helpful and on point. Ours is an older home so we did experiences delays as walls were opened, but these were truly not under Joseph's control, but rather related to the age and underlying condition of the structure, as well as changes in building codes and regulations (since the house was originally constructed) as modifications were made. As mentioned his craftsmen are excellent and almost all the work besides the flooring, roofing, cabinetry and electrical were done by them. For these additional areas subcontractors were used. We have received, and continue to receive, many compliments about the new appearance of our home and love the finished product!

    Supreme Remodeling Inc
Supreme Remodeling and Micky Kanian did an excellent job building a nearly 1500 sq. foot guest house on our property. They helped us with all the decisions and design plans along the way, and guided us through the process in a user-friendly manner. They were very professional and responsive to our questions. We are extremely pleased with their work, and would absolutely recommend them.

    John Hopkins Construction Inc
John and Jim did an incredible job planning and executing the renovation of our backyard. We met with a number of vendors up front and found John to be knowledgable, patient, direct, and mindful of our overall budget and priorities. He and Jim returned multiple times during the planning stage to discuss timing, materials and general approach to the project. It was clear that they both had extensive experience in landscape design and construction.

Once we felt good about the plans, they got to work quickly with their team. Our backyard needed a TON of infrastructure work (demo, irrigation, drainage) and they kept to an aggressive schedule. Within a matter of 3-4 weeks, we were presented with an amazing updated backyard with a modern aesthetic and family-friendly appeal. Throughout the project, Jim supervised the team and stayed in constant contact with us. It's clear that he and John care about producing great work, and the results reflect that.

Before the project, our backyard was a source of ongoing stress, and was not a place that we enjoyed spending time; now we spend a majority of our time there. They kept us within budget and ahead of schedule. Highly recommend!

    California Foundation Works Inc
California Foundation Works could not have been more responsible, thorough, professional and skilled. They fixed our foundation on our 1930's Craftsman home without disturbing the existing foundation that is visible from the outside and they fixed the sloping we had in our floors.
Our house presented some foundation issues and I suspected something wrong with the foundation. I went on Angie's List looking for companies that could look into this for me and that has a wide experience with this type of work.
I was impressed by the reviews of the California Foundation Works. I scheduled an a free inspection and the next day one of their inspectors, James, arrived.
He was 15 mins earlier than expected and he was knowledgeable and professional at all times.
I had many questions and concerns. He was very straightforward and gave me an opinion until he did the full inspection. He started at the interior, explaining what signs he was looking for and how they possibly related to the foundation issue. Next was a complete inspection of the outside, and this was very thorough. He then went underneath the house spending quite a bit of time investigating, taking photos, and mapping it out. California Foundation Works are very serious about getting it right.
There were concerns and he communicated them to me clearly in a language that I could understand as someone with no construction background . I truly felt he cared that I fully understood his finding. There was no sales pitch, just a thorough honest inspection. The estimate was sent to us very quickly and it was just as detailed, I could tell that thought and consideration had been put into it. This kind of service and honesty is not something you would easily find in most construction companies these days. Thanks again California Foundation Works, you guys are great!

    Supreme Remodeling Inc
We were thinking of remodeling our old Bathroom, but we were afraid of the process and we weren't quite ready financially, we have heard from friends about this company called Supreme Remodeling that did their bathroom and we decided to give it a shot just to get a free consultation about how should we approach our remodeling project. We called Supreme and scheduled a meeting with one of their project manager (Patrick) We really enjoyed the meeting we've gotten so many ideas starting with new layouts of our bathroom and through choosing finishing materials. The representative was so patient with us and showed us few previous project that fits our needs and taste.
We went with one idea that he had for us and we asked him to give us a quote for the project. He put in writing all the details of the labor and materials and  gave us an idea of how much more we will need to spend for finishing material and fixtures. At first We weren't so sure about the price since we had  have gotten an idea from our neighbor that also remodeled recently. We felt so comfortable with the Patrick that we didn't mind if the price was not the lowest possible. After going back and forth and after a phone conversation with the owner (Micky) that was so warmhearted and even gave us a reasonable discount, we've decided to sign a contract of $18,300 to remodel our bathroom.
2 Weeks later, after going over the details again and getting help from the company with shopping for fixtures, a crew of workers came together with our project manager (Patrick) and stated the work. Everyone were so nice and polite they made sure all around work area is wrapped and protected from dust and debris. And the work was progressing very well. The company pulled a permit from the city and dealt with the inspectors that came by to inspect the work. All inspections passed on the first time (that really helped our bathroom to progress fast)
17 days later our bathroom was complete and ready use. We paid exactly what we planned on paying base on the contract we've signed plus the all materials  we bought according to the budget we set with Patrick. The workmanship was thoroughly and our bathroom looks great. All the concerns we had before the project were gone and we were so happy that we decided to give our next project (Kitchen) to Supreme Remodeling. The process of getting over the kitchen details was very fulfilling, Patrick helped us with choosing the cabinets, counter tops, tile flooring and back splash and of course the appliances, all came down to about $33,700 and the crew just finished our kitchen 3 weeks after they started the demolition. We are Very Happy with the process and the final product and we highly recommend using this company for any type of  home remodeling.

    Royal Oak Flooring, Inc
My condo unit got flooded recently ruining my existing hardwood floor. So I needed to take the old ones out and install new ones.
I called Royal Oak Hardwood Floor for an estimate after reading so many wonderful Angie's list reviews. What I found was their pricing is VERY competitive, more so with the Angie's list member coupon! More importantly they really care about their customers!
I had a very tight schedule as I have a tenant moving in a week (Saturday) and my hardwood floor requires a lot of work, due to the broken, uneven concrete left behind after the mitigation guys took out my old floor with strong adhesives and sound proofing materials.
I only have literally a little over a week to finish the work plus final clean-up. The self leveling concrete would take at least a day or two to dry and it's impossible to get the floor installation done on time if they start working on the concrete Monday.
I gave them a very short notice due to overwhelming condo mitigation work and Royal Oak was on another project with other client that won't complete until Saturday. Guess what they did for me! They came on Sunday to do the concrete!
I have never heard of any contractor willing to work on Sunday or even Saturday, not to mention without charging any weekend service fee! They came on Sunday to make it work out for me!
Story doesn't end here. My HOA's soundproofing requirement is not straightforward at all. Instead of telling unit owner what sound proofing material to use, they only provide sound rating unit owners need to comply with. So Beau, Royal Oak Owner, and Laurie, his secretary, made multiple phone calls to their sales person to check the specifications of different sound proofing materials for me. And when we finally decided to use rubber, which is particularly hard to install, they actually worked EXTRA hours everyday to get the work complete early to allow me time to clean my unit before my tenant moves in! Also, Beau caught that there was an area where new molding was needed but I didn't inform him. He quickly changed his molding order to special order another one that would match identically to my existing ones.
I don't know how much hassle I have caused them to get my new hardwood floor installed. But whenever I talked with Beau on the phone, he always said "Not a problem!" in a very cheerful tone, making me feel like he is really happy to do all this for me to make me happy. Last and probably people care most about, the hardwood floor is beautiful! It is very high quality product and the wood grains and colors look ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! Really thanks to Louis and James' top notch workmanship putting the rubber, wood floor and moldings together! The floor also feels so great on the feet!
I really can't say enough thanks to Beau and the team he put together, for the beautiful work they have done, the extra miles they went and the excellent experience! Really thank you so much, Beau and team!

    California Foundation Works Inc
I was very satisfied with the service of California Foundation Works. When we
bought our house in Eco Park, there was a part of it that sloped to the side
and was some other section that began sinking do to the expansive soil we have
in our area. We worked with the seller of the house and met with California
Foundation Works for the Foundation Repair and with two other firms regarding
the project. California Foundation Works Foundation Repair was by far the most
knowledgeable and capable of answering any questions we had. They showed up on
time, installed underpinning pads, bolted the house to it's foundation, raised
the house 4" in the affected area with minimal cracks in the walls at the
drywall seems, which were easily repaired - the lift could not have gone
anymore smoothly. Best of all, they completed the project ahead of schedule.
With the house leveled courtesy of California Foundation Works, we closed on
our home and are very happy. It is very comforting to know our new home is
secured and that the floors are leveled. Thank you California Foundation Works

    All American Traditions, Inc.
All American Traditions is a true ONE STOP Shopping organization. They took my basic 1960's house and turned it into a modern 2013 EXTREME MAKEOVER HOME! My experience with them was absolutely amazing from start to finsh. We have all heard the remodel horror stories and we lived none of them. From the initiial design consultation and the trips to the stone and granite yards through the whole design process we always knew we were in good hands. The first day on the job we stressed that they needed to be punctual because we were going on vacation to Europe for 2 months and we were impressed how they not only showed up on time but with a foreman and employees that looked like true professionals who had our best interests at heart. On the first day they went over everything with us and provided us and their foreman with a detailed scope of work. While we were on our vacaction we were always kept informed via email and videos of the progress. Throughout the project their were a few changes that were made and they were done with no hesitation on their part. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for an A-Z remodeler. Thank you All American Traditions for creating our dream home!

    Advanced Demolition, Inc
Advanced Demolition responded quickly to my call and came over to give an estimate. They gave a very competitive price and detailed description of the job they would do. I felt a genuine trustworthiness from Avi and once a few other estimates came in, we decided to use Advanced Demolition and scheduled the job date. On the day, they arrived on time, worked very very hard and actually finished a bit early. It was a lot of concrete! They were a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend them. Thanks!
