    Ira was very helpful and professional. He spent several hours at our house and not only improved the desktop but also did work on my laptop and phone. He made sure that my files are being backed up properly. He also installed an internet booster to improve our internet service. I am very satisfied with this service.

    Very well. My wife has a home based business with four computers and a variety of shared resources (printers, scanner, NAS). We recently upgraded to WIN 10, and have had issues since with the recognition of resources. I called and the phone was immediately answered by Ira. We had a discussion wherein he helped diagnose the problem, and offered some suggestions that I try before unnecessarily spending money. I was so impressed by his thoughtful approach that is very old school and very unusual in this day and age. He gave me actionable advice that was straightforward. Ira advised that should the suggested step not work, it may be appropriate to call them..but wanted me to check the essentials. Very refreshing that this firm is interested in long term relationships and not short-term "jobs." Should the need arise for future services, Goodberg will be our first call!

    They are always doing work for me all the time. It was absolutely spectacular. He is always phenomenal. There is nothing he doesn't know. He knows exactly what to do all the time. You don't have to wait or anything. I would never go to anyone else. The price is excellent. I would acknowledge them for anything as being in the top of people who do any kind of repair work or understand computers.  His understanding is superb. The quality of work is wonderful. I have never had any come back stuff. He always does it and there is no problem. Responsiveness is perfect; immediate, courteous and wonderful. He is extremely professional.     When I scheduled the appointment, Ira was thorough in finding out what my issue was.  He suggested the Apple Time Capsule for my home WiFi instead of a product I'd just purchased at Best Buy.  I returned the item to Best Buy and bought the Time Capsule prior to the appointment.  Ira and Bonnie arrived punctually, worked quickly, solved a problem I had with multiple Apple IDs, explained how the Time Capsule also would back up my hard drive and all files, and then tested to be sure the Time Capsule and printer were working before they left.  They were patient, answered all my questions, and were well-organized.  A few hours after they left I had one more question and emailed Ira.  He quickly answered.  Ira and Bonnie are a pleasure to work with.  I am not IT savvy, and I appreciated that they did not use computer-speak so that I could understand the information they were conveying.  I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

    This was the last of several required visits triggered by my hard drive failure & a variety of other issues that another, 'more senior' tech guy could not resolve and/or did not handle properly. While I have my own home-based business i am not tech-savvy & understanding  how all the various programs & devices interface is a real challenge - also what to do when something goes wrong & I have run out of options based on my level of knowledge.
    We had quite a long "To Do" list, which has now been mostly accomplished, with just a few non-critical items left.  He will address those when he installs 'everything' from my desktop onto a 'new' laptop to replace an old one of mine. 
    Needless to say, there were/will be glitches along the way - it seems to be 'normal' in this age of computing. In my opinion the difference between a 'keeper' IT support person & others is not whether they can do the usual stuff, but whether & how efficiently they can diagnose a problem & either fix it or determine that it is a shortcoming in a program (e.g., my IPhone 5S calendar changes to a different time zone whenever I open a calendared item to edit it. It took the Apple "Genius Bar" 1 1/2 hours to tell me they couldn't fix it; it took another IT guy that long to say the same thing, & Phil 1/2 hour, sadly, to reach the same conclusion. The point is that he was the most efficient in knowing how to research the problem. However, he seems to have figured out a 'go-around' & this maddening nuisance has stopped! Not because Apple fixed it - they know of  the problem but haven't offered an update to fix it - but because Phil was creative enough to find another way.
    Phil is very focused, & doesn't just sit around while a program is uploading - he will be working on another task simultaneously to his time is well spent.
    He is young - recently graduated from Wooster College with a degree in this field, & for which he has created programs & systems far beyond my comprehension. His relative youth may also serve him as being more on the cutting edge of what's 'the latest'.

    I 'originally hired Dan using an Ang's coupon & had some time remaining on it when my hard drive crashed earlier this week.  Dan first without charging for his phone time advised me what I needed to do to try to save the data despite  back-up external drive issues too.  When that failed he came out, TWICE, & performed the services described in the answer to the question before this one.  When he determined during yesterday's visit that the hard drive was no good, he returned today with his own equipment k-to clone its contents onto a new hard drive we bought today.  He spent all day with me despite it being the NFL Playoffs that I knew he wanted to watch.  He finally left while the new hard drive data started backing up to the external backup drive (it can take hours) & told me to call him once it completed, no matter how late, so he could access my computer using remote access & help with cleaning out that back up drive of duplicate backups &  to make room for future backups.  All this & despite my surely being stressed out after not having use of my desktop for nearly a week & unable to handle various client matters as a result.  He remained calm & focused throughout.   And his fee was .very reasonable.  I have no hesitation in recommending him for PCs & Windows-based products.  I read a recent negative review about Dan & my take on it is that after the customer requested that Dan return to address an unresolved issue, he also expected Dan to perform new services free of charge, & that is unreasonable.

    I am not a tech-savvy person.  After attempting to correct my computer problem myself, I called this provider. He had excellent reviews and was located near me.  He set up an appointment for Monday, December 15 but called me later to let me know he had a cancellation and could give me an immediate appointment (Friday, December 12).  I really appreciated that.  He arrived on time and was very professional. He knew what was wrong as soon as I described the problem.  It turned out that my problem had to do with a weak clock battery. It would have been difficult to replace the battery because my computer is an all-in-one.  He explained the problem very clearly in words I could understand.  He advised me of a simple remedy to avoid the problem entirely. This diagnosis and fix took about ten minutes.  Since he has a one hour minimum charge, he spent the rest of the hour cleaning up my computer.  He downloaded updates that had been giving me trouble and downloaded other updates and corrections.  I was extremely pleased with his service and will definitely use his services the next time I have a problem.

    I was really lucky, at a time when I needed all the help I could get, to read all the great reviews about Sam & Company. President Sam Purkin took over and helped me decide which laptop to purchase and which iPhone configuration (he was right about suggesting the 5S - I love it). My dinosaur flip phone went into the garbage!
    Sam helped migrate all my data from my old computer, set up my backup system and taught me how to organize my photos.
    More than that, he helped me understand iCloud, and keep all my gadgets in synch (something I found quite intimidating).
    After that, I was on a roll, so Sam further helped me hook up my Apple TV and even made a video for me on how to
    connect it and access other programs, like Netflix.
    Sam has a personal touch and explains everything very patiently and clearly. He can even Skype to show you how to troubleshoot.
    Most importantly, I trust Sam with all my information and can highly recommend Sam & Company for all your MAC
    requirements.
