Excel Construction sent to our house Eyal who came over and set with us for a while in order to understand what we would like to have in the remodeling project at our house. Our remodeling project was to remodel the kitchen, family & Dining room areas including new coat of paint and few other tasks. After he understood what we wanted to do, he designed a simple draft so we will understand how and where he think to relocate some parts of the kitchen and after we approved it, he then went back to his office and designed a detailed computerized 3D. After the design and the price was approved by us, he then came over with his workers to do the remodeling job. Each one of the workers was polite & flexible. After the work was completely finished, Eyal sent back his workers to replace or fix some things that we had issues with. Our house was left clean during the entire remodeling. We received so many of great comments on our new remodeling and on our house in general. Thank you Eyal for the great work you did for us and for the awesome service!

The project went great. Luis and his crew took up an old concrete driveway that was worn thread bare and replaced it with pavers that wrap around and extend in front of the new backyard deck. In addition he created an interesting crushed concrete path around 6 fruit trees that he planted in the back yard. On the outside of the path he planted drought tolerate blooming plants. So I replaced a boring square with a delightful fruit orchard! Each of the fruit trees has a light next to it that comes on in the evening that adds a special touch. One of my main complaints about the back yard was that it is surrounded by unsightly cinder block. Luis planted vines that will adhere to the cinder block and cover it completely in a short time. Luis also added a faucet to to the backyard and put in a new sprinkler system front and back. In addition, he leveled my front yard and re-lanscaped that as well with drought tolerate blooming plants and less grass and also an interesting crushed concrete path. I am beyond pleased!! I would definitely hire Ruvalcabo landscaping again and I fully recommend them.

    Go Pavers
This was a great experience all around.  My rep, Oscar Solano, was terrific.  He worked with me very closely and allowed me to make changes to the order a couple of times before the job was done.  They took 4 days which I thought was fast.  Edgar supervised the job, and he and his entire team were fast and very professional.   I have already recommended them to others, and will do so again.

    Supreme Remodeling Inc
Me and my wife had been saving money waiting for a house to go up for sale in North Hollywood (we had been targeting the area for a while but everything the realtor showed us wasn't up to snuff). We finally found a place right where we wanted but the house was in bad disrepair. After getting a few ideas on what it would cost to tear down what was there and build our dream home we decided to purchase the property. The first company that came out gave us a price of a little over $900,000 which seemed OK. Luckily my wife decided to check out a few other places and we ended up contacting Supreme. We met with Patrick (who is not only an amazing project manager but also one of the owners of the company) after explaining a few things he brought our cost down to $826,000 which needless to say made our eyes widen a little bit. After meeting with yet another 3 companies we still found Patrick to be the lowest and most experienced we'd talked to.

So we moved forward with the project it started in November of 2014 and should be finishing up next month (May 2015). We have been extremely happy with the speed and quality of the work being done. I was a little cautious due to the price difference since it was so much but so far the work has been going great, no delays and no surprise costs which was my biggest worry.

I check in with Patrick or his office daily and they are always super nice and helpful with letting me know whats going on with my project.
I can't wait to see what the final product looks like. I will keep you guys posted.

    C Perez Sprinkler & Landscape
Long story short: a very nice and effective husband and wife team. He took a great deal of care to ensure he understood what I wanted, and he and his team were patient and straightforward in making adjustments/abatements as needed; she took a great deal of care to keep in touch via email about estimates, arrival times, delays and materials choices. I was very happy with the process and the results, and plan to use them in the future for other projects.
Added bonus: he accepted my word that I'd already completed the necessary sprinkler work, and when they completed the job, my sprinkler systems were still working as they had before.
By comparison,  I've had other company reps disregard my word and upsell unnecessary sprinkler services/insert unwanted sprinkler maintenance charges into their estimates, and had another company break two sprinkler heads during the job and just shove the heads into the ground as if nothing had happened.

    Pristine Construction Inc
I put off remodeling my kitchen for years, because I had no construction or design experience, and was intimidated at the prospect of tearing out an important part of my home and having construction done while I was living and working there.
I found Pristine Construction by its positive Angie?s List and Yelp reviews, and when I met owner Nathan, he put me at ease about the process, and had some great ideas for making changes to the kitchen. Even though it wasn?t actually the lowest bid, I went with Pristine because they inspired my confidence.
The crew, all very friendly and polite, showed up right on time at 8:00 a.m. every morning, worked all day until about 5 or 6, and cleaned up after themselves every night. Mike or Nathan checked in every day to oversee the progress.
I also had them replace all of the wood flooring throughout the entire house, and, because I had to use my office and couldn?t stop work for too long, they managed to move everything out, replace the floor and baseboards, and move everything back into the room in a single day.
They tore the kitchen down to the studs and completely remodeled it, while I was working in another room at home most days. The work started right on time and finished right on schedule [in just 6 weeks] and on budget, and the kitchen looks fantastic. Even though I only had a limited galley-shaped space to work with, my sleek, modern kitchen looks like something out of a magazine. I am happy and thrilled with my new kitchen, and it looks even better than I imagined it would.

    Nexxus Remodeling Inc
I called Nexxus because this was a critical area with regard to the value of the home.  I went to the top of Angie's list and got the best.  I knew it was going to be expensive, but needed this area (which was literally about to fall apart) to be perfect.  I called Tony Panterra of Nexxus and he came promptly to give me a quote.  It was double what I was thought it would cost.  But I tend to favor the better contractors becasue, in the end, I am a person who cares about quality and am willing to pay for good work.
All of Tony's staff are high quality craftsmen.  They took a bannister design that I sketched up and executed it flawlessly.  High quality materials,  fasteners and a solid communication.  Adjustments to scope of work are handled in a friendly and open-minded manner.Tony brought me to a stone and masonry facility that had a dizzying selection of stones to choose from.  He was very hands-on throughout the process and very passionate about his work.
Everything went to drama...just excellent work.  All work was done with attention to tidiness.  Staff arrived on time each day.  Wordwork was nicely fitted, sanded, painted.  The stonework was artfully selected and placed.  Tony even came back when I had already paid for the job and had his staff touch up an area that I had become concerned about.
I would not hesitate to call Tony for future work.

    Affordable Landscape & Construction
I had been dreaming about redoing our front and backyards forever but always felt it was overwhelming and crazy expensive. I decided to break it up in sections and wanted to look for someone who would work with me over time and help me refine my xeriscape vision. I happened to have found Affordable Landscape and gave then a call. Richard returned my phone call and met with me about my plans. He was very knowledgeable and we were able to come up with an amazing plan!  Richard's crew is wonderful and very conscientious.
Richard was always very available to make changes as we went and his ideas were amazing. I chose to use urbanite  (broken Concrete) in the backyard which was a first for Richard but he and the crew installed it like they had been doing it for years. We used rocks, decomposed granite & custom pavers to finish things off and I am thrilled!
I highly recommend Richard, He is a hard working guy with great ideas at an affordable price. I always felt I was in good hands with Richard and will be using him for my weekly gardening as well.

    Construction Masters
Moshe's company did the most amazing job in tearing out and replacing my old linoleum floor (and putting in a new sub-floor) with new ceramic tiles throughout my kitchen, back porch, and 1/2 bathroom. The tiles were of the style I think is called "river rock" and have odd patterns on them. He was thoughtful in placing them so that the tiles looked properly placed and not one particular pattern was repeated too close to one another. He made the place where they joined the kitchen cabinets look absolutely seamless and even put in two new wood thresholds in the kitchen doorways where they joined the house's hardwood floor. He also cut and installed the granite pattern of our choice in the back porch (around the service sink, which he also installed), as well as the kitchen counters. For the splash, instead of using solid granite, we used small 2 x 2 ceramic tiles which matched the floor pattern and ran them up all the way to where the wall meets the soffit part of the ceiling. It also goes up the wall behind the stovetop to where it meets the cabinetry. It looks FABULOUS! Moshe also noticed that the edges of the stone where it edges the wall were rough and he didn't want anyone injured or any clothes torn by the rough edges, so he suggested (and did) that the same color grout be used to edge the rough edge. It looks great and isn't noticeable! His crew were the same every day, they were prompt, clean-looking, and cleaned up the area after their daily work. The work was top-notch -- no quickie job on anything to cut corners! Moshe was professional, he listened to what I wanted, his estimate was prompt and he was able to begin the job a few days after we accepted his estimate. There were no surprises or additional costs and I would recommend him to anyone wanting any work done!

I really liked the attention from the very first second that nathan the owner happened to answer the phone and answered all my questions courteously and patiently. for us doing our first remodeling job we had to do choose the proper company very carefully. all i can truly say, without being extreme that the decision to go with pristine construction, was one of our best decisions we made in the past ten years, especially in today's economy with such an expensive project. the two things we admire the most is the professionalism and fairness these guys have. nathan helped us with choosing the fixtures and was making sure everything was taking care of perfectly. he always reassured us with every concern we had. we are very happy with final result, our master suite addition is a perfect match to our home and looks like it was always been there. the little bathroom looks great. they really left our house in "pristine" condition with everything they have done.
