    Maintain Construction
Honestly, hiring Maintain was an easy decision after speaking with Noah and Jason. The most important thing I searched for was professionalism. I had met with many people before them who were throwing numbers around, and trying to sell me a job, but never answered MY questions and would get annoyed with me very easily. Noah, met with me and calmly explained to me all my options slowly since I am no expert in construction. Eventually, I chose the home maintance package- I needed my turf done and the exterior of my house to be cleaned. Jason came with his employees and power washed my entire house including the solar panels! The turf was done with complete precision! When my kids would ask what every thing was and what was happening, Jason took the time to respond to them kindly. The last thing that impressed me tremendously was the cleanup. Jason cared that I should see the job done in its entirety. It wasnt enough to just clean up his materials , but they cleaned and washed the entire front yard from all dirt and dust. I cannot recommend them enough! I cant wait to save up and hire them again for future projects we had discussed!

    Toris BM LLC
VICTOR did an excellent job on my windows and I have several French windows.. I have 14 skylights and he has this long stick with a brush on the end of it so he didnt have to crawl up on the roof and the skylights are cleaner than they ever have been . I will definitely use him again.

    EXCEL CONSTRUCTION LA
Excel Construction sent to our house Eyal who came over and set with us for a while in order to understand what we would like to have in the remodeling project at our house. Our remodeling project was to remodel the kitchen, family & Dining room areas including new coat of paint and few other tasks. After he understood what we wanted to do, he designed a simple draft so we will understand how and where he think to relocate some parts of the kitchen and after we approved it, he then went back to his office and designed a detailed computerized 3D. After the design and the price was approved by us, he then came over with his workers to do the remodeling job. Each one of the workers was polite & flexible. After the work was completely finished, Eyal sent back his workers to replace or fix some things that we had issues with. Our house was left clean during the entire remodeling. We received so many of great comments on our new remodeling and on our house in general. Thank you Eyal for the great work you did for us and for the awesome service!

    Brush Roll & Beyond
Fantastic and thorough job, beautiful outcome!! John, the owner/contractor of Brush, Roll & Beyond first sold us with his highly detailed assessment of the services necessary to paint our sprawling ranch home, which had a myriad of deferred maintenance issues. Although we had several estimates, he was the only person who walked the entire property, carefully looking at every detail such as dry rot, termite damage, loose window glazing, broken gutters, etc., and explaining the issues which caused our severe dry rot in the first place. He spent at least an hour (or more) during his free estimate checking out every nook and cranny of the outside of our home, including going up on the roof to assess issues out of sight and explaining what would need to be done just to prep the home properly for painting. No one else we called (including Angie's List service people) took that kind of time with that level of detail to determine the scope of work, leading us to believe that we could be charged extra for items discovered after their initial estimates. John's hand-written estimate took a bit longer than the others, but spelled out all the details and time frame necessary, even itemizing certain extras we were considering such as painting our iron fence and front doors, so we could include them if we chose during the process. It was important to us that the work not be subcontracted, and John's team has been with him for many, many years, (some more than 20) which was another huge plus. Once we agreed to move forward, the work began right away. Our job was a large one, taking close to a month to complete due to the amount of prep necessary. The team arrived on time, every morning like clockwork, even on Saturdays! If they were early, they respectfully sat in their truck out front being careful to not bother us until it was time to work. They were friendly and kind (even when my young son who is on the autism spectrum was yelling at them to stop touching our house!) and very clean, always leaving the work area tidy for the next day. John himself was on site every day, checking the work and answering questions. He also was available by phone or text anytime, which was great as I have experienced the MIA contractor on more than one occasion. We weren't sure about the colors we wanted and John worked with us, tweaking my original choices, offering suggestions and allowing us to sample several combinations over a period of days to find just the right colors for our home's unique style. When we decided to paint our rusty, faded and chipped wrought iron fence, John suggested we go with a gloss black. I wasn't sure if I would like it but decided to trust him and WOW, did it make a huge difference, making it look brand new and sophisticated, elevating the look of the whole property. They even painted all 6 of our exterior porch lights and freestanding mailbox to match at no additional cost! Ultimately, the house turned out beautiful, looking much cleaner, fresher and more modern, with respect for its traditional style roots. Our paint/repair job wasn't cheap, but fairly priced for the amount of work, and in an area of multi-million dollar homes, well worth it! The work was high quality and significantly improved our home's value. We have received several compliments from neighbors. We will definitely be calling John at Brush Roll & Beyond for more home improvements in the future!

    Nexxus Remodeling Inc
We initially interviewed 7 prospective contractors and obtained 4 bids before deciding on Nexxus. The owner's (Tony Panterra) pitch was that although his bid would probably be higher than the other contractor's, his work was of a higher quality and that he used only the best products. Nexxus, however, did not provide a written estimate, which raised a red flag. However, we ultimately decided to go with Nexxus because it had numerous and uniformly excellent reviews on Angies List from consumers who actually used Nexxus' services (Nexxus did receive negative reviews from persons who thought its bids were too high). The other contractors we considered had a few positive reviews, but nothing close to the long history of strong reviews that Nexxus had. Moreover, although Nexxus' bid was higher than the other contractors, it was not excessively so. More importantly the work was, for the most part, excellent. In particular, the installation of the wood siding was impeccable. Ipe is a notoriously hard wood and difficult to work with. But the corners were sharp and straight with little or no gaps. The iron gates also turned out well although some of the solder joints could have been a little cleaner. Tony, the owner, was very responsive to any changes or requests we made during the course of the project and was on-site at least 1-2 per week to check on the progress of the job. Francisco, the project manager, was present almost every day and made sure we were aware of how the job was proceeding and sought our input on various aspects of the job and made sure we were satisfied before he proceeded with the work. Tony estimated the job would take approximately 4 weeks and he would have been right on target but for several days of rain that halted work. All in all, we were very satisfied with Nexxus' work, would use them again, and would highly recommend them to anyone interested in remodeling their house.

    Clif Jones Painting Company
Clif Jones and his wonderful crew did an outstanding job on my house.  No detail was overlooked.  Clif is excellent with color, and helped me choose well.  The crew showed up daily, on time,  and took extra care with everything.    The prep work was meticulous; the cleanup spotless.  The job took 6 days (plus 1 day for power washing) and they finished exactly as scheduled.   My house now looks so fresh and lovely, and I am thrilled with the results.  I can not recommend this company more highly.

    All American Window Cleaning
I was leaving my sublet house of 3+ years and called to see about getting windows cleaned and power washed?with that long a time with yard sprinklers/winds with no rain/lots of dust and dirt and pollen from surrounding trees/PLUS the gut rehab next door the windows were filthy and in desperate need of help. Carl answered the phone as soon as I called and stayed in touch with me to do a walk through/estimate ( I underestimated my SQFootage of windows) but Carl made sure to be fair in his estimates. We also tried to figure out a time to have the work done given how booked up he was and that I was leaving the house in 2 days.  The owner was coming in from a cross country move, so I had to be gone and all my stuff out by mid week. I asked Carl to take a deposit and to please schedule with the homeowner when they were back in town. He did a great follow-up, all went wonderfully, and he reported back to me (as well as walk the owner through) to make sure I would approve his final work.  The owner was thrilled and said Carl and his helper did all the windows and really put in extra effort to get off the hard water stains from windows next to yard sprinklers and spent time with the French Door windows ( 3 pair!)  I feel the price was very fair and I tipped carl for following up to make sure the owner was okay with scheduling at her convenience.  Terrific job by a hard-working guy, call Carl for your windows and he will work with you and for you and do a wonderful job to make your home look great !!

    A3 Hi-Pressure Cleaning Svcs
George and his A3 crew were fantastic. We had some mold and algae growth on our roof, which caused us to get some bids on hard and soft washing of the house. George responded promptly and came out to the house the very next day after we called. He arrived right at the time he said he would to give us an estimate. George had just received certification in a new soft washing technique that is less abrasive, but just as effective as hard washing. He was extremely nice and very knowledgeable about the work. George was also open and honest. He even provided a demonstration to show how effective the technique is. On top of that, his bid was very reasonable.
We are so glad we hired George. He and his crew arrived at the exact moment they said they would and away they went. When I returned home from work, it was as if we had a brand new house. The house, roof, fences, driveway, pavement were all sparkling. We probably could've eaten off the ground.
On top of the amazing job they did with cleaning, some water spots got on the front door. George went to Dunn Edwards, got paint and painted the door. A testament to a businessman and gentleman who stands by his work. Although my wife was not pleased with the color of the door, George proceeded to reimburse us for the cost of our painter to repaint the door.
George is so proud and confident in the work that he does, he doesn't require any payment up front.
George is top notch and I highly recommend A3 when you are thinking of washing the house.
Thank you George. We will call again and tell our friends about you.

    Daniel Williamson Painting
I'm picky; usually do all my own painting (damn good at it), but the exterior was in horrid shape; 70 yrs. worth of bad paint jobs, peeling off in huge chunks. The crew sanded the heck out of the house, down to bare wood in many areas. Their finish sanding/painting needs much work. One worker was particularly poor. The foreman was good. He fixed problem areas without complaint. House looked wonderful when finished, but I repainted trim on the porch after they left, due to poor finish (they painted during Santa Anas!) The interior work was just OK. They left hooks in walls and painted over them! I had to ask them to remove them & fill the holes. Even then, they didn't sand/prime the spackle; basic stuff. Eight weeks after paint job, when hanging holiday lights on 2nd story, I noticed the horrible job they had done! I hadn't gone on roof to inspect. Rest of the house was showing problems, too. Cracking paint, already peeling in some areas. They came back & fixed the problems.
