  • Debra and her team, Kelly and Kayleigh, are fantastic. My doctor was blown away at how well I healed and recovered from the surgery.  They are a fun group so I always looked forward to going there, and they pushed me  - they knew what I was capable of doing better than I did, so I was always impressed at how my strength and flexibility recovered.
They are all very knowledgeable and constantly in tune with my comfort / pain levels.
I want to keep going, but my insurance won't have it.  They do allow you to continue coming for $15 mat fee per visit though to use the equipment.  Love all the balance exercises.

  • First, let me say that I have been going to Back to Wellness since 2003 when I injured my back. During my rehab, I worked with Dr. Hendelman (chiropractor), Milana Wachsman (PT) and Gerald Mason (LAc) as well as numerous Pilates instructors and massage therapists employed there. When I started there, I doubted I would never be pain free again. Through hard work and efforts of the team there to keep me on track, I am now completely pain free, and pretty much able to do anything I want (within reason). I continue to take weekly group Pilates classes, and if I ever manage to over do it, or get clumsy, I go back in and get tuned up as quickly as possible. The team there is fantastic.

  • They were very professional and they helped my mother quite a bit. Bonnie Cardenas made herself available on Saturdays or whenever we needed her. They really are a good group and are very helpful. It was very easy to get an appointment with them. The office was very neat and clean. They were always there when we needed them and the staff was very nice. The bedside manner was great and they communicated well with us. The billing and administration was fine.

  • Their TENS units, which runs electric charges into your body to help the muscles, burned my lower back. I was told by the physical therapist: You clearly see it was from our equipment because the burn are eqidistance. Their service was negligent and worthy of a malpractice suit.

  • I have worked with Bonnie Cardenas, who is the president of the facility, over the years. I was initially referred to her for incontinence, and she helped me with that. I have a frozen shoulder, so my bone doctor referred me to her. I have been going to her for over a year now. She has helped me get my shoulder where I can use it again. She is also a polio expert; I am a polio survivor, and I know that it is very hard to find people who understand polio. I have gone back and forth to her for the last 10 years. I would recommend her highly. She has a good staff; when she was not available, I used the other people in the practice, and they were excellent. I would rate her highly and would continue to use her in the future; I would not go to any other place for physical therapy.

  • They are a wonderful physical therapy group. They use Pilate and Feldenkrais, which are forms of physical therapy. I have used them off and on for the last ten years. I have gone to them for bladder control exercises and for some Polio issues.
