    Imperial Remodeling Inc
We recently had two bathrooms remodeled by Imperial Remodeling & we could not be happier with the results! Gino and his crew were amazing! They were extremely professional & thorough. You can tell Gino takes great pride in his jobs. The crew showed up early every day, even on weekends, and would put in 10+ hour days, which really made this job go very quickly. Gino would come check on the project each day and would even send me progress photos, as well as call to give me updates while I was at work each day. We are very impressed and highly recommend Imperial Remodeling to anyone!

Ron did an amazing job AGAIN!! Re-did my new house and put in a beautiful stone block fence. Finished the entire project under budget and in less time than we thought. Do yourself a favor and go with Ron, he cares about his customers and it shows in the work. All he does is deliver.

I called Jerry to request information regarding my concrete steps and how best to resurface/redo the steps.  Even at the expense of business to himself he provided a low cost DIY solution.  I would not hesitate to use him in the future.  Contractors value their time because ultimately its truly the product they sell.  He couldnt meet my budget for this really small project, but encouraged me to take the DIY route and spent a good 10-15 minutes on the phone with me discussing the particulars.  He loves his craft.  I am considering doing a drive way and other projects that I wouldnt dare do on my own.  I know who I am going to call.

    Supreme Remodeling Inc
Me and my wife had been saving money waiting for a house to go up for sale in North Hollywood (we had been targeting the area for a while but everything the realtor showed us wasn't up to snuff). We finally found a place right where we wanted but the house was in bad disrepair. After getting a few ideas on what it would cost to tear down what was there and build our dream home we decided to purchase the property. The first company that came out gave us a price of a little over $900,000 which seemed OK. Luckily my wife decided to check out a few other places and we ended up contacting Supreme. We met with Patrick (who is not only an amazing project manager but also one of the owners of the company) after explaining a few things he brought our cost down to $826,000 which needless to say made our eyes widen a little bit. After meeting with yet another 3 companies we still found Patrick to be the lowest and most experienced we'd talked to.

So we moved forward with the project it started in November of 2014 and should be finishing up next month (May 2015). We have been extremely happy with the speed and quality of the work being done. I was a little cautious due to the price difference since it was so much but so far the work has been going great, no delays and no surprise costs which was my biggest worry.

I check in with Patrick or his office daily and they are always super nice and helpful with letting me know whats going on with my project.
I can't wait to see what the final product looks like. I will keep you guys posted.

    Swan Pools West
Dave Lewis of Swan Pools is professional, calm, honest, punctual and diligent. He also happens to be funny and kind. We had a massive project and Dave and his team was able to handle all aspects of it with expertise. His very fair price and his depth of experience were why we chose Swan Pools after three years of looking for a pool contractor. We are so happy we did. We recommend him unreservedly, and would not think twice about using him in the future. His son Todd is also great to deal with, as is his wife Karen. A wonderful family business, run by a family that is hard-working, honest, fair and the most amazing part? It was fun, because Dave is such a great guy.

    Quality Remodeling & Design
My husband and I have been looking for someone to help us with the remodeling around the house. We are getting old and we were afraid that someone might take advantage of us. Luckily we found Quality Remodeling and we felt so much relief. Sean came out to see us on September 19th 2012. He brought all of his license information and wouldn't even come into our house until we felt comfortable with the idea. We showed him the problem and he took measurements. What my husband and I liked the most was that he never pressured us. He told us to take time and think about it. He gave us a great price and was even willing to help us out with financing, but luckily we didn't need it.  I would recommend this company to all of my friends. In fact Sean has done work for my daughter as well.
Quality is really a wonderful company and they were  a pleasure to deal with.

    Pasadena Concreteworks Inc
Ronald Leon met me the same day I contacted him.  He looked at my driveway and gate.  He measured and considered the necessary pitch the diveway needed to manage the flow of water away from the house and to the garden and streeet.  He explained everything to me along the way in a language I could understand.  He was patient and respectful of my questions and concerns.  My driveway and gate was over 60 years old and in terrible shape.  Ron told me when I would receive an estimate and delivered it on time.  He sat down with me and went over in detail what he would be doing.  We discussed some aesethic issues and I signed.  He gave me a start date which was delayed by one day due to weather.  He introduced me to his crew.  His crew worked hard the entire day and were polite and helpful.  Ron took my existing driveway and walkway out.  He laid rebar which was quite tight and plentiful.  He provided a way for me to get in and out of the house. He poured the concrete to specifications.  He added a design element to the walkway which we discussed.  He scored the driveway.  He found and repaired a flaw in the footing of my house. He replaced a piece of wood that was rotted in my wall lattice.  He put up my gate.  He consulted with me about color and he stained it the color of my house.  He repaired and painted the driveway wall and part of the house that met the driveway that had some cosmetic needs after the driveway was completed. He also had his crew put in some cold pack asphalt where the street met the driveway.  The street part had broken down so water accumaled there.  His crew put all the plants back in their place and replaced the grass that had been taken out due to the widening of the driveway.  They cleaned up when they finished and left things in order.

    Affordable Landscape & Construction
I had been dreaming about redoing our front and backyards forever but always felt it was overwhelming and crazy expensive. I decided to break it up in sections and wanted to look for someone who would work with me over time and help me refine my xeriscape vision. I happened to have found Affordable Landscape and gave then a call. Richard returned my phone call and met with me about my plans. He was very knowledgeable and we were able to come up with an amazing plan!  Richard's crew is wonderful and very conscientious.
Richard was always very available to make changes as we went and his ideas were amazing. I chose to use urbanite  (broken Concrete) in the backyard which was a first for Richard but he and the crew installed it like they had been doing it for years. We used rocks, decomposed granite & custom pavers to finish things off and I am thrilled!
I highly recommend Richard, He is a hard working guy with great ideas at an affordable price. I always felt I was in good hands with Richard and will be using him for my weekly gardening as well.

    A Bella Casa Construction
Overall it was an excellent process.  Gio provided competitive quotes on all of the jobs and, for the most part, stuck to his quoted prices.  There were a few examples of some issues arising which could not be foreseen, and which did come with some small additional costs, but those were few and were, as I said, beyond anyone's ability to anticipate.  Gio and his team finished the work assigned in good time and without much disruption.  I have a small child and am at home with him during the day.  Gio's crew were friendly and nice to my son, who wouldn't leave them alone.  They were also quiet and did not wake him up during his afternoon naps, as much as they could.  Overall I would say that this was a good experience and I would certainly both use A Bella Casa Construction again as well as recommend them to others.

    Tatoosi Design & Construction Inc.
I am a three-time homeowner and have undergone quite a few extensive projects around each home. To say that Vahik Tatoosi is the most unprofessional, arrogant, incompetent, and crude contracting professional (an oxymoron in itself) we?ve ever dealt with is not an overstatement?it?s the truth.

Since we are close family friends to someone who refers him the bulk of his business, he gave us the lowest bidding price for the work we needed done. However, he was clearly unhappy with the final price, as he consistently reminded us that he was doing the work at a huge discount whenever problems arose. And a litany problems certainly arose, of which each and every time, Vahik refused to take responsibility and blamed issues on other people, on the reality of any construction work, or on us?the clients. The quality of his work reflects only a fraction of the final price we paid for everything. Needless to say, he feels he did work for free, and we feel we got robbed. The only time he ever apologized for his shoddy mistakes was when he and his men couldn?t get the crown moulding correct in our bedroom; after four tries, the moulding was still done so poorly that I could have done it myself by watching a how-to video on YouTube. Guys smoking on our property? No apology. Tiles coming loose in the kitchen? No apology. Sprinkler pipe severed, flooding our foundation for weeks until I caught it because he never shut off the water supply? No apology. Support beams removed from under the house that could have eventually caused the floorboards to collapse (according to his own contracted workers who eventually fixed the problem) when vents were installed at the bottom of the house? No apology. Clearly, he doesn?t understand the gross negligence involved in the event that a floor collapses underneath a client?especially one with a newborn baby. You can add naïve and ill-informed to the list of adjectives.

As he was yelling at my wife over the phone, he again claimed that he gave us a $20,000 discount, when his bid was only $3,500 less than someone whom in retrospect we should?ve used. I would?ve gladly paid the $3,500 ?premium? for a true professional with a strong work ethic, who values customer service, who understands the referral process, and who has true pride in the finished product rather than the bottom line. By the way, without getting into details, he was yelling at my wife because she simply wanted to know when he would be at the house, and he thought that she was accusing him of some duplicity. Such verbal ?misunderstandings? were quite common with him. He has by far the worst communication skills out of anyone I have ever worked with, bar none.

He has a delusional sense of work ethic and felt completely entitled to criticize the work of anyone else (we chose different plumbers and electricians), yet he failed to acknowledge the failures of projects under his direct supervision. The fact that he never had a project manager on site at all times probably contributed to that problem. I could go into detail regarding each and every offense he committed (of which only the most critical were ever brought to his attention), but the bottom line is save your time, heartache, and money. Do not ever use Vahik Tatoosi or Tatoosi Construction for any work whatsoever.
