Dr. Fix Home Services & Appliance Repair
Spoke through texts told them the make model of the machine and I was told they had parts showed up took machine apart vacuumed out the dust lubricated parts put back together no parts were replaced even after i pointed out the strange buzz sound machine made when pushing the start button even though the machine ran in there presence. Technician left I tried machine and it failed right away would not run. Basically I paid this money for nothing as technician failed to isolate and fix this issue in the first place thus wasting my time and forcing me to hire someone else to fix it right!

They were good. They did a good job. I think my appliances was just shot, but they did a nice job. It was a recurring problem, I don't think that they completely fixed it, but they gave good service while they were there.

Replaced the motor to discover the motherboard was bad. Charged us only for the new motherboard and kept to their original labor cost estimate. They're the only appliance repair service we will use.

After getting a ridiculous quote for a dishwasher drain pump and the "intensive" labor, I was trying to figure out how much the pump REALLY cost.  I looked up the part through your website and it was $50 less.  I also read some comments that suggested it wasn't all that difficult to do on my own.  Read some descriptions, even found a youtube video.  I know I could have called for support, but I didn't need to!

The other repair place treated me like I was a foolish woman and I wouldn't understand what was involved.  On a scale of 1 (being easy) to 10 (being difficult), I'd say this was about a 3.  I just replaced the pump this morning and it's working great.  Took me about 25 minutes all by myself.

This whole thing cost me less than $100 and those expects were going to charge me $320!

I failed to write a review at the time of service and cannot recollect the details including what we paid, or even what the service call was for. (I cannot recall if service was for our washer or dryer.) However, I was pleased with the service and would call this provider again.

After running all the diagnostic tests on the washer, it told him that a very expensive electronic component wasn't working. We decided that it was best just to replace the washer/dryer, so it only cost $50 for the service call.
While so many repairmen would have tried to upsell us or oversell us to get the repair done, this guy (sorry, don't remember his name), was honest with us and it was very much appreciated. It's not like he was going to get a sale on a new washer/dryer.

It went perfectly.  I called on Monday for an appointment and scheduled Tuesday between 2-5.  He came just before 2PM.  He completed everything by 2:30.  He left the area clean.  I have an LG front loader with lots of computer gadgets, and someone could easily have tried to sell me expensive computer components.    I felt that this company was honest and reliable.  I had never used them before but saw the good ratings from Angie's List.  I would definitely use them again and recommend them highly.  Just don't wash anything that has a rubber backing, no matter what the label says!

    Pauls Washer & Dryer Service
The dryer took an inordinately long time to dry clothes sufficiently.  The technician checked everything and verified that there was no problem with the dryer controls.  He discovered that the vent line was plugged.  He was able to clean the existing tube and re-position it so that it worked again.  He pointed out that the vent line had been squeezed through a small opening in the foundation, partially collapsing it, and there was simply not enough room for a proper vent line.  He suggested that a new, vertical vent be installed, to vent at the roof.  He explained that he was not able to do that work but he did give me a referral to a venting contractor.  His fix was understood to be temporary.

Our freezer drawer refused to close completely, and we determined that a small plastic piece in the back needed to be repaired/replaced in order to fix the drawer.  Mike, of Lerman Appliances, came at the appointed time, checked the drawer, determined the problem, explained the issue to me, contacted a supplier, and wrote up an estimate.  I approved the estimate and expected to have to wait about a week for the delivery of the parts.  In a couple of days I received a call indicating the part was in and I scheduled another appointment to have it installed.  Mike arrived on time, did the installation, cleaned everything up and was finished in a very short time.  He was very thorough in his explanations and his work.

Fred, the installer, was able to come soon after I called. He had to install a complicated ice maker, which he did with no problem. He was prompt, courteous, professional and did a very good job. He even called the next day to see if it was working properly. I give him highest marks.
