Very well. I have been going to Four Corners since it opened in 1956 with my first dog, for my 6th birthday.

Great! The veterinarian is very thorough and knowledgeable. He takes time to explain everything and answered all my questions. The facility is clean, the staff is welcoming and genuinely caring. I highly recommend this veterinary hospital.

Probably the worst vet I've had the misfortune of waiting at for several occasions. I've been there to take my friend's senior cat Conrad, and not only is the staff completely indifferent and terribly disorganized, but they run incredibly late and don't bother retrieving you until they feel like it. Additionally questionable treatment of Conrad and they don't bother to communicate important information to my friend - like removing all her cat's teeth to treat gingival stomatitis. Currently writing this after sitting in my car right outside their office for 40 minutes until someone even bothered to show up to check that I was here. Avoid at all costs.

Warning! Our pets were held hostage and they called the police when I requested they release them. I'm not going to go into all the detail because I want to put this whole horrific experience behind me. There is a word limit here. If you want the full review look at yelp. But I cannot in good conscious not warn others about the criminal practices. This is our 3rd visit. 1) we were promised a 2 for 1 price. When we got there, suddenly they don't offer it anymore. After asking for a supervisor, they agreed. 2) Our cats were stressed by leaving the home for this reason, I requested that they do not take the cats until the doctor is ready to see them. After 40 minutes of waiting I asked for an update. they said the doctor is ready to see them. They took the cats. we wait 40 minutes and check in. The doctor will see them now. 5 minutes later they come out with a $700 bill! This is for a simple cold. The bill was stuffed with 80% unnecessary fees. Enough eye medication and anti biotic for 10 cats! And they $500 for X-ray because I cat had coughed twice last week. Insanity. For human doctors this would be insurance fraud. They admitted that the X-ray wasn't really necessary. And that we can buy the medication ourself online. Another person calls us and she has a whole new bill with new charges on it. Now with flea medication for every cat. AND They again are charging us $60 extra that I corrected them about twice already. I also asked, is it okay for the kitten to come in on Friday for his vaccination round? Yes! Absolutely! The other person said of course not. You can't vaccinate a cat when they are sick! This was clear that either this person was lying or they are incompetent. At this point, I can hear dogs barking and my cats have been neglected and left in their carriers for over a close to 2 hours!!! So I asked for the cats to be released into our car as we figure out the charges and the treatment plan. Because clearly, there are extreme discrepancies. You know what she said? No. You cannot have your cats until you pay the full amount right now. Not only is this immoral and disgusting to hold a living being hostage. It is totally illegal. I again requested and the response is you pay in full right now or we hold your cats hostage. So I got out of my car and went to the door to ask for our cats to be released. That's when she called the police! This is so horrific that I wouldn't believe it if it didn't happen to me personally. Finally, the doctor comes out and be apologizes. He explained that holding the cats hostage is wrong and against their policy. At this point, I only wanted our cats to be safe. So I paid the full amount and left. What became imminently clear is this: They don't care about your or your pets here. This is not a vet office. It's more like a vet sweat shop. They overbook appointments, give less than 5 minutes for every pet and try to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. There is no attention to detail or care for the pets. And they try to pile on as many charges as possible. Our cats are our children as I'm sure yours are the same. And I cannot in good conscious allow such predatory and incompetent behavior to hurt others like it hurt us. And if you have been abused by this office in the past, I urge you to make it known. Contact the veterinarian board and file a complaint. There are rules and regulations in this country to prevent abuses like this and we have consumer and medical rights. And such abuses must not be allowed to continue. I'm sure Ocean Vet will respond below in their "nice language" and saying how much "they care". But actions speak louder than words. The same person on the phone was very "nice". But became extremely vicious and didn't hesitate for a second to call the police when she didn't get 100% her way. There are a lot of honest and amazing vets out there. But this isn't one of them. Please support good, ethical businesses and lets stop these "vet sweatshops" from abusing more people and animals.

UPDATE: still no response from the owner and I checked my email since they didn’t give my mom a receipt or tell her the price that they were charging her credit card. I have an emailed invoice which shows they ran a “Senior Profile Lab Panel” which my mom specifically DECLINED!!!!! They were supposed to only check his thyroid level!!!! She specifically told them NO to the senior profile but they ran it anyways AND charged us for it! I am LIVID right now with the how my cat's appointment went yesterday. Since we are going through the COVID-19 situation and I work in healthcare I was not able to take my cat in during the week as I am not able to take time off during this pandemic and they no longer have Saturday appointments. Since my cat injured his paw due to his nail catching on something, I scheduled him for a visit and asked my mom to take him in for me. She called to let them know she was there and someone came to take him inside. She then gets a call from the vet who accusingly asks her "Have you noticed how skinny your cat is? He's all skin and bones." She responds "yes, he was diagnosed by your office with hyperthyroidism and is on medication, have you reviewed his chart?" The vet says "Oh no, not yet" then places my mom on hold. So you mean to tell me that instead of reviewing his chart and COMPARING his previous weight to his current weight, you insinuate that we are neglecting our cat and starving him causing him to be "skin and bones?" The nerve!!!!!!!!!! She then comes back on the phone after reviewing his chart and says that since it's been about 6 months since his last set of labs she needs to do another panel to make sure his numbers are stable etc. she then says that she would also recommend the "Senior cat labs and that would be more pricey." Look, my cat is 16 years old. He had labs done 6 months ago and what we need to do is make sure he is stable and comfortable, we don't need to ALL the labs under the sun at this time. It's now totally OBVIOUS that this is MONEY MOTIVATED and not compassionate care anymore. Which is highly disappointing since the previous encounters we've had with this place were positive. My mom declined the "more pricey" senior labs and opted for the basic labs we got the last time. (Let me add that he got a first set of labs that were about $200 give or take and then a second set that was much less expensive and that was the set from 6 months ago) so since she said she was going to repeat the labs from "last time" we didn't think too much into it and my mom said ok. So still at this point no comment on the reason we brought him in. So my mom says "What about his paw?" And she responds "oh yeah, it's what you thought it was. His nail caught on something, did you want us to cut his nails?" My mom told them, no I'll do it at home (they charge like $27 just to clip nails and we always do it ourselves) the vet said she was giving him an injection of antibiotics and prescribing an ointment. Then someone else called my mom and asked which credit card she should charge it to and didn't give the price to my mom. My mom was kind of surprised they didn't give any details. Today she checked her bank statement and found they charged $479!!!!!!!!! That is insane. Seriously?!!! To treat a ripped nail with antibiotics and an ointment and test his thyroid?!!!!! How do these people get away with this?! Do they not feel at all horrible for overcharging people especially during this COVID-19 situation?! I am appalled and disappointed with not only how my poor mom was treated and made to feel as well as their ploy to squeeze as much money out of people as they possibly can. There is no way anyone should have to worry about getting their pet care when they are hurt because they are afraid of being charged some unreasonable amount. I left a voicemail for the OWNER to call me back. Let's hope that vet that he saw yesterday isn't the owner because if that's the case, this office is MONEY MOTIVATED and not about helping animals.

Dr. Thorn and staff have worked with her before, so were to quick to wrap her in a towel. Dr. Thorn is so quick yet does a great job; my bird didn't even have time to get all worked and over heated. I will bring her back next month to have them redone along with my Umbrella Cockatoo.

First of all, this group is now in San Carlos. My 10 yr old dog has hereditary retina problems and cataracts. He has been on Occuglo to try to treat this. Unfortunately his eyes are worse but may have been even worse wihout Occuglo. Dr. Mughanam said he wouldn't do cataract surgery because it wouldn't help his vision which is not good due to retina problem. He had recommended Occuglo as a possible treatment, saying it was unproven but worth a try because it wouldn't do any harm. I have been to him for decades with my dogs and apppreciate his skill and honesty.

I took my elderly dog here last September during a very difficult time. Her health was failing and I was in need of some second opinions about her prognosis, about medicines that a different clinic had prescribed, and about how to keep her comfortable. Dr. Lawrence, the veterinary assistants, and the receptionist were thoughtful and responsive. They made a difficult & sad time less scary and less overwhelming for me. They were gentle when they interacted with my dog. They followed up promptly to my phone calls and fit us in for appointments on short notice due.
