    Kenco Tree Service
Contacted Jess for an estimate to remove 2 Sycamore Trees. He came out promptly and wrote up the estimate on the spot. The crew was available promptly to remove the trees and grind the stumps. They did an amazing job and cleaned up after themselves. I requested to keep some branches and they kindly accommodated. Since I didnt want the wood they found someone that could use it, so it didnt end up in the landfill, which I appreciated. Katie, the office administrator, was very helpful and efficient. Perfect experience.

    Valley Falls Tree Service
Sebastian came out to discuss what we needed done and gave us a very reasonable bid. We set up a time and day and everything went very smoothly. The crew was very professional and efficient. Sebastian was a pleasure to work with and obviously knows what he is doing. We highly recommend his company.

    Amigo Landscape
We were going to have a regular grass & drip system installed in the backyard and Joe gave us the name of the company for landscape & building materials so we can check out the prices and materials we want installed. We told him what we wanted and he explained the things to be done at the same time. He gave us an estimate for the work after a few days. We also let him know that we may go for artificial turf and he was nice enough to let us know that we can ask the same company about artificial turf installation because he doesn't do that kind of work. In fact, he was very helpful & accommodating when we told him of our decision to go with artificial turf instead. My husband & I were comfortable talking to him and if he did this kind of work, we will surely hire him!!!

    Tony's Landscaping
My yard is less than 400 sq ft, very small. Took him 1 1/2 days to complete the job. Tony is a nice guy, friendly and his crew did a good job. They cleaned up good when t he job was complete, which is often missed by some contractors. Some areas for improvement: -no written estimate provided, although I did not request one. My other bids were all written estimates. -He asked to use my bathroom, dropped a number 2 - thanks a lot. Use the gas station next time! -Did not test the sprinklers after sod was installed. I had to adjust several heads as they were aimed in the street. Two of the sprinklers were completely covered by the sod, so I had to cut them out. -Did not replace my sprinkler valve fake rock cover, just left to the side. Not a big deal, the devil is in the details. -His truck leaks oil, so don't let him park it in your driveway. Even with the above areas for improvement, I would still go with Tony again. I'd be on alert to watch for the above items if you do go with him however.

The crew is courteous, prompt and dependable. The job is always completed to my satisfaction. Phone calls are returned right away. If I need something extra done all I need to do is ask. I feel fortunate to have found them.

Babylon Builders - Home & Landscape Contractor
The entire experience was horrible. After taking our deposit back in August 2015, they promised they would send a few snapshots of the design after about two weeks for us to review. They also said the final design would be done within four weeks.

Six weeks passed and we received nothing from them. We tried to contact them a few times but they kept making excuses. We ended up hiring someone else to work on our design and wanted our deposit back. It has been eight months now and we still have not been able to get our deposit refunded.

These guys are great! Really take the time to do a professional job. Cut bushes, remove weeds, get around base of trees, trim trees, edge lawn, excellent clean up and blow away leaves to name a few.  I don't have to ask them to do anything. It is done before I can ask! Polite and respectful. Very happy with their work! I've had so many bad ones that I am very thankful.

    Rivard's Earthworks, Inc.
I have used Rivards Earthworks before to demolish a collapsed barn. He was fantastic then and certainly did not disappoint this go around. Mark Rivard came out to inspect and evaluate the grading that was done by another contractor. He was nice enough not to directly trash the other contractor, but it was clear that the soil filled in was not properly compacted and in a short time (couple months with little rain) was eroding. The building was placed too low for the surrounding grade and little to no consideration was made for drainage (this is me talking, not Mark - but he didn't disagree!).
Mark came in with his equipment and started working right away. He is not the stand around and waste time or money kind of guy. He works hard and constantly from the time he arrives until the time he leaves. He made suggestions throughout the process to solve issues that came up, all the while just charging for his time. He allowed us to help where possible to reduce the cost, and, as in our last experience with Mark, he did as much as he could for us while here simply saying "might as well while I am here." I'm talking extras, if you didn't catch that. My humongous burn pile is now mulch, and my compost pile is turned, mixed, and some spread - thank you Mark!! He also used his supplier contacts to secure good pricing for drain pipe - not part of the contract, but somehow he didn't go over the estimate and included the cost of the pipe. Just to name some of the things he didn't have to do.
Mark is one of those few contractors that you can just trust to do what is right and best for you. He has great integrity and always honors his word - and then some. He works until it is just too dark to work anymore. With the risk of rain in this project, he even sacrificed his weekend to get the work done before the rain hit. He is "that" guy. Completely reliable and goes above and beyond expectations.
We are very pleased with Mark Rivard and Rivards Earthworks. This is the only contractor I will have excavate or grade for me from here on out. I really should have insisted my general contractor hire Rivards Earthworks in the first place. Would have saved me a bunch of money, headache, and frustration. My garage would have been on better ground as well, literally! Don't make the same mistake I did. Just call Mark, and he'll do the work right the first time!

Estimates only available during business hours M-F 9-5:30; Scheduled estimate for 12 days out (soonest available).

Estimator missed his appointment; Showed up right away after I called in.

Some difficulties generating/forwarding my quote (IT issues, incorrect e-mail address).

Work was scheduled and completed right away.

Very high quality work at a fair price.

Final billing was quick and easy.

    Amigo Landscape
Joe and his team performed a variety of landscaping activities. To start, his team was tasked with pruning approximately 15 overgrown shrubs and a few trees.  This was followed by the cutting down of two dead white birch trees in the front yard.  Once completed, his team focused on reestablishing an irrigation line to provide water to the shrubs, flowers and trees in the backyard.  They found multiple leaks on the drip line and repaired as necessary.  They also found two additional leaks in the front yard and repaired those as well.  The final activity was to remove approximately 9 yards of old redwood bark and replace with new bark.  Prior to replacing the bark, the team applied a weed barrier cover to prevent weeds from surfacing.  All the work was completed as planned.  Joe and his team were very professional in terms of open communication of any changes, punctuality, and quality of work.  For the four days of scheduled work, Joe and his team always cleaned up before departing for the day.  I was very satisfied with Amigo Landscape and would highly recommend them for any landscaping work.  Moving forward, I plan to have them perform monthly maintenance for both front and backyard landscaping needs starting next month.
