    Green Valley Painting Inc.
This company is AMAZING! We were so lucky to have been referred to these painters! We hired them to paint the interior of our home. From start to finish they were prompt, reliable, had great communication, very personable and easy to talk to. They kept the job site clean and they even hung the curtain rod back up when they finished! I just can not say enough about these painters! Very clean lines, no runs or overspray anywhere to be found in our whole house. We were very pleased with their work.

    Gary Forrest Construction
In the kitchen for example, I had this long, sort of rectangular light fixture. It was looking pretty old. So I bought a new one per his recommendation, an inexpensive one. But, it looks so nice. In the dining room area I had a fan that had been installed by a friend of a friend and it wasn't installed properly. I could tell that it was a little uneven and it always made me nervous. I was relieved when Gary suggested that we should pull that out. He said that the dining room was not intended to support a ceiling fan. So he recommended that I just do a light fixture in there. So I just bought an inexpensive light fixture and he went ahead and installed it. He took out the ceiling fan and installed a nice fixture for me in the dining room. He charged me $1500 for the paint. I bought my own flooring, so he charged me for the labor. He charged me $2000 to install the laminate flooring and that included hauling the old flooring away. And then, I remember, I had to pay 100 something dollars for something else. He didn't do everything in one day. The paint job took two or three days and the floor installation probably was another two days. I feel that they were very honest and I really liked that. I had some tenants there before. One tenant decided to open up the place to some friends of his. So I ended up with squatters because these people were homeless and all of a sudden my tenant wasn't paying me, he ended up trashing the place and to me, it was a nightmare. So, I was missing some cabinet doors. I don't know why the cabinet doors were missing, same thing with a closet door. The place was a mess. When the hauling company came to take away all of that, they found the doors to my cabinets, but they ended up kind of like hiding them. So I was in the process of  researching if I should be buying new cabinets for the kitchen, which Gary was definitely capable of installing. But he knew that I was on a budget, I was looking for the least expensive thing possible. I started looking at the kitchen options at IKEA because I thought that might be the less expensive way to go. So needless to say, Gary ended up finding the doors and I felt, "What an honest thing to do to save me money?" because he could have easily pretended that he never saw them and have me move forward with the plan of having to redo the cabinets and he could have made a little extra money off of me because he would have done a little more work. I really thought that it was awesome that he was very honest. The doors were dirty obviously, but he cleaned them up. He told me, "I think I can clean these up and I'll put them back on." That is exactly what he did. So, I liked how honest he was and his work was very, very good, in my opinion. I had researched other people. For example, the paint job, I found two other companies, one was willing to do it for $2400 and the other one would do it for $2600. So I saved about thousand dollars on the paint. Gary would have charged me more, but he knew that I was on a budget, so he said to me that he had some white paint and if I didn't mind going with white the entire place then he would charge me $1400. So I went ahead and did everything white. The people who have looked up the condo, when we started showing it, they loved the floors because he and his team, in my opinion, did such an awesome job. Maybe it is easy to install laminate. But, it looks very, very nice. They were very responsive.

    R. Robinson's Painting Contractors
After having a water pipe break days before Christmas, I never thought I could get the house back together before the holidays. Ren came in 4 days before Christmas and did a great job. They replaced sheet rock and painted. You cant even tell the walls were completely opened up just days before.

    R. Robinson's Painting Contractors
A team of 3 painters worked over 3.5 days. They were professional, responsive and detail-oriented. They arrived on time each day and finished the project close to estimated completion time. I would hire them again.

    Harvey's House Painting
The project took 2 days. It was easy and quick to schedule. I work in a completely different city than I live and didn't have anyone available to let the painters in. My home was vacant so I worked with Mr. Harvey to provide access to his painters. I posted sticky notes on every wall, door, ceiling with the colors I wanted. And, without my presence his crew came into my home and painted every room to my specifications. They finished on time. They were neat. And I couldn't be more pleased with the finished product. I am not a designer at all and Mr. Harvey provided me with color combo brochures and, as a result, every room looks professionally designed. I chose 12 different colors for my 1050 sq. ft. townhome and I wasn't charged anything extra. Mr. Harvey said the different colors would not change the amount of labor. It's gorgeous and immediately made a vast improvement over the ugly walls and carpet that were present when I purchased it. The paint was done so well, it almost made me forget about the ugly carpet throughout the house....I said almost! I'd recommend them to anyone looking to have interior painting done in their home. I can't wait to move in!!!! I'm overjoyed with the finished product!!!!

    A Better Choice Painting
secured comparable estimates and found Angie's Big Deal wasn't such a big deal after all, especially considering Angie's recommended Big Deal Painter is a subscriber to their services and in my opinion a conflict of interest of Angie's List express representation that vendors are rated fairly and recommended based on their ratings.... In my opinion, if an advertiser is paying Angie's money, Angie's will recommended them or allow them to offer a Big Deal.

    Marc Parham Painting
I have done a lot of painting myself and am fairly good at it, but didn't have the time for this project and I am glad I had Marc do it.  He is a very meticulous painter and did a much better job than I would have.  He is also very polite and provided a good service at a very reasonable price.

    Azkany Painting
Azkany Painting did a great job! They quoted in early Summer 2014 and I called them back to do the work in December. They honored the price quoted. After the rain stopped and holidays were over, they started the work in early January 2015. Golfran and his team moved everything away from the house (they beat us to it and didn't complain one bit or reschedule to wait for us to move our stuff!) and pulled the soil back where it was close to the stucco or siding. They pressure washed the house first and removed the old flaking paint. After drying, they re-caulked the whole house and filled in stucco cracks. Then they primed where wood was exposed after pressure washing and painted. I had a dark trim color before and was changing the trim to white which took some extra coats of paint to cover. Not a single complaint about extra materials or labor as some contractors would indicate. Just a mention that he would need to come back an extra day to add a little more paint to be sure it was covered. Golfran asked us to walk the house on the last day to check for anything needing touch up before he left. Found one small area and he immediately touched it up. He also said if we noticed anything after he left to just call him and he'd come back and take care of it.
The painting was done in January and it is now April. My house is beautiful and we have not found a single other location where touch up is needed. There was one area on the roof where the roof line lowers about 2 feet so there is a stucco wall and eaves on top of the lower roof. The previous owners did not paint that area when they changed color schemes many years prior, so the wood fascia was in real had shape. It looks like Golfran must have scraped and filled it, because it looks great...and it is well sealed.
I couldn't be happier with the service. I thought it was a little expensive at first, but after seeing all the work that they put in, I'd say it was a value. They did it right. I have peace of mind that not only does it look nice, but it is sealed.

    Marc Parham Painting
I accidentally paid the entire amount we agreed to AND FORGOT
I had written him a check earlier in the week for paints as he requested. I had
a nagging feeling something was wrong and in checking my bank accounts,
realized my mistake. I email him and asked him to reimburse me the accidental over
payment since he had cashed the check the day I wrote it (!). He insisted on
talking to me in person. So, I knew there was going to be a problem
    getting him to reimburse me.
He came over and insisted he was entitled to and had earned the
money even though it was over the amount we had agreed!! And he went back to
insisting it was a 2 day job and not 3 days, even though we had this
conversation before he began this job.
He would give me the money ($350.00) ONLY by not
coming back to finish the other projects! Normally, I would have not paid the
entire amount until the work was done, but initially Marc seemed trustworthy
and honest. And, I was pleased with the actual painting.
After many emails back and forth I did get the $350.00, but
he also still has my money I paid for the unfinished projects. He also wrote
and entire one page letter to go with the reimbursement, again telling me
why it was not an over payment!!
The irony to this is several people I know needed interior painting done in January. I would have referred Marc to all of them and he could have made WAY MORE than this $350.00. It is too bad his insistence about this money being his cost him so much more in the end.
If you hire Marc based on the other good reviews here, I would suggest being real careful. I am giving an OVERALL F because of his attitude about this whole situation, the conditions he put on giving me this reimbursement, which for me was a complete lack of  business ethics .

Everything was done extremely well and the work was completed earlier than expected.  The crew was friendly and easy to communicate with.  They made some helpful suggestions and followed through with great work.  I will have them back to do some trim and moulding work.
