Fence Company reviews in Upland

    UC Fence
Installation fine; however, left behind messed up dg which then was completely restored two weeks later satisfactorily. Really like end result. Fencing is very expensive, unfortunately, but UC was $500 and $700 less than two other estimates I got.

    UC Fence
I was called by a member from US fence Company. My original appt date was Fri July 20 and schedule for 9am to 10pm. They called because they were running later from another job. We agreed to a re-schedule date July 24 for the same time. Today was a no call no show from this company

    Sonrise Fence Co
Job started on a Friday and extended into Monday due to difficulty of digging fence posts in rocky terrain. In addition, the gate ordered for the front was the wrong color. Later in the day, a new gate was fabricated and delivered but it was the wrong size. Unfortunately the job was not completed until Monday which meant we had no gate to secure our property over the weekend. Our job supervisor and his entire team were kind and professional. Would recommend even though there were some disappointing issues. No contractor is perfect every day.

    Good Neighbors Fence
The company representative was punctual, professional and responsive. Their estimate was very close to the provider we actually chose to do the work. It was a very tough choosing between the two since no one had a clearly superior product and both were very responsive. Ultimately we chose not to go with Good Neighbors Fence purely because they wanted us to schedule work by signing the paper estimate and returning it to them by mail while the other provider was willing to do everything by phone and email, which was more convenient for us. I would definitely include them in my list of providers to give estimates on future work, but would recommend that they consider adding online/email correspondence for their customers' convenience.

    Stump Fence Co.
The provider showed up for the estimate as scheduled and provided a timely estimate. Their estimate was in the same ballpark as the other service providers, so there was no real cost advantage. We chose them largely because their authorization and scheduling process was easier.
We made out initial inquiries around the winter holidays, and so it took a while to have the work scheduled, but that was not due to any lack of responsiveness on the part of the company. There was a small communications snag during the scheduling process, however. The Angie's List concierge got in touch with the company to find out if/when work had been scheduled, but no one in the office seemed to know about the project. I had been communicating directly with one of the Stumps to authorize and schedule work, but I guess it was somehow not communicated to the office staff.
Once the work was scheduled (there were some weather delays), the installers arrived on time as planned. However, there was a major problem with the installation. The main components of both gates were built at the shop and transported to our home for installation. The smaller gate was installed without incident. The larger gate, however, did not fit the space. A temporary chain link gate had to be installed since they had already removed the old gate, and the new gate had to be taken back to be re-sized. This was very disappointing, but they were able to come back and install the correct gate three days later.
Upon installation, the gates were given a second coat of paint (one had been put on at the shop); however, it needed another coat before it really looked right. We called to let them know, and the company sent someone out to give the gates another coat of paint. While they were there, they noticed and repaired a small defect in the gate - something we hadn't noticed. That was a nice bit of service.

    Vinyl Smart Fencing Inc.
They installed a vinyl privacy extension on our block wall. The cost was approximately $1300 and finished in a timely manner.  The installers did a great job in a very professional manner.  We are very pleased with the outcome of the project and we would recommend them to others.

    Stump Fence Co.
From start to finish, I was very pleased with the process and its outcome.  They got back to me very quickly about arranging an estimate, did the estimate very promptly (including a couple of different options, since I was deciding between different types of fencing), answered all my questions, and coordinated their work with another company's landscaping work I had going on at the same time.  The only very minor delays were weather-related (the paint on the fence didn't dry as fast as expected because of a couple of rare damp days--no one can control the weather!), and they were great about keeping me informed.  The installers themselves were great, let me know when they were starting/leaving each day, worked really hard, and cleaned up after themselves.  The fence is beautiful, and people stop their cars to tell me so!  After reading other reviews on Angie's List, I knew that the price was going to be on the higher side, but I think it was worth it for such a high-quality job.

    All-Safe Pool Fence & Covers
it went well. all the details were provided in person as well as over the phone. We got quote from two companies and decided to go with Pool safe. Pricing were not very different though. Dan was prompt in answering questions and very pleasant. Job was done in approx. 3 hrs and so far it has worked fine.

    Precision Landscape & Construction
The original contractor hired to do insurance repair after a fire did marginal work. Precision construction came in and repaired the bathrooms, closets, and some flooring that was substandard. Very professional and did excellent work. I plan to use them for additional projects associated with this property.

    ELROD FENCE CO
The estimator was a no-show on the day scheduled.  I had arranged for the estimator to meet me before work (I had to leave at noon), and after waiting over an hour with no contact, I called the company.  I got transferred to the estimator and he apologized that he had been busy with a proposal and lost track of time.  He said he could leave right away and it would take him a while to drive, but it was too late for me.  I told him not to bother, and I never called back.
