  A1 On Track Sliding Door Repair & Installation

  They arrived early and finished in just over 30 minutes. They replaced the rollers with better quality metal ones and also replaced the bottom track with an overlay. The door now slides open and closed with the use of a pinkie finger.

  Very knowledgable, professional and friendly - Dave and associates were great and would defintely use them again. We have a very busy schedule and were able to schedule an appointment to install a security door via email very easily thanks to Christine who is in charge of logistics for the company. Very flexible and patient with all the questions we had asked. The door was installed with no problems and Dave took the time to explain what and how they would proceeed.   From the initial call to the estimate to the completion of the work he was easy to work with.  He and his helper arrived at the designated time. Some of the scope of the job had changed a bit from the original plan and there was no problem.

  RW Garage Doors

  The door opener stopped working. The motor would run but not turn the gear or chain. Al inspected the unit and was able to replace the internal gear instead of replacing the entire opener. This saved more than half the cost. He lubricated all the door rollers and chain mechanism. Al was early for the appointment made the same day. Super nice guy and we appreciated that he didn't try to sell parts that were not needed. I would highly recommend Chandler's.

  Bay Easy Construction

  We recently performed a comprehensive remodel of our Union City home through Bay Easy Construction. My wife and I met with 5 different contractors before we ultimately went with Ofer since we felt he could best deliver on what we wanted at the right price. We felt very comfortable with Ofer and his designers from the very beginning. Since we were new at this, and the project was huge, we were still anxious and wondered if he could deliver on our remodeling goals?.and boy did Ofer and company deliver! The process was smooth and the result was absolutely beautiful. Hopefully we can get the pictures uploaded soon so you folks can have a look for yourself.
  During the initial visits, we appreciated how knowledgeable and patient Ofer was about the many questions we had. He was able to give us a ton of information on the pros and cons of both major and minor work items. On many occasions, Ofer was able to recognize what we wanted to achieve with the remodel without us having to tell him. For example, we really appreciated his suggestions on adding windows to the fireplace wall and replacing the aluminum tin on top of the pergola with a clear one. This tremendously increased the amount of natural light that came into the family room. At first we didn?t want to tell him the budget we were working with but since we started to feel comfortable with him, we decided this information will only help him get us what we wanted. He was able to take that and tell us upfront the estimated (and surprisingly accurate) cost of several different upgrades along with each of its pros and cons. This helped us narrow down the set of upgrades we could accomplish with our budget and that is what we used as a baseline to compare Bay Easy Construction with other contractors. At first, we were a bit bothered by his direct tone, but got used to it quickly and actually rather appreciated how frank he was about what was reasonable at what cost. One negative note is that I feel Ofer delayed the material selection. We could have used more time to pick the right materials and felt rushed in making our choices. I would recommend people to start the material selection sooner.
  Ofer?s crew was great to work with as well. I went over to the house many times to see how the guys were doing their work. Without saying, his crew performed the work with quality. For example the front entryway was slightly uneven from the previous floor that was there. Instead of cutting corners, they floated the floor properly even though they didn't really have to. His tile guy was super nice to work with. He went over tile patterns and spacing and was a pleasure to work with. As you will see in the pictures, the floor, kitchen, and shower tiles came out gorgeous. We felt that the guys did every upgrade thoughtfully and carefully. A minor example is when I watched one of his guys install the bathroom hardware. He took his time to align the towel bars and toilet paper holders perfectly. Minor, but we really appreciated this attention to detail. There were a couple of hiccups where Ofer?s crew installed the wrong toilets and vanity tops. Ofer ate the costs of replacing them without any question. At the end, every room came out beautiful.
  During the project, my wife and I changed our mind on a few things (we were just not in love with some of our initial selections). Ofer did not complain about any of the changes even though some changes required that he demolish some of what was already built. We really appreciated his attitude towards the changes. The quality of the materials he used was high and something we didn't have to ask for. He went above and beyond to meet our expectations on many levels. We will definitely use him again for any future projects.

  SGK Home Solutions Inc

  A few years ago I had SGK install one large window from Milgard that was ordered through Costco.  I waited 2 years before I could commit to having all the windows and patio doors replaced.  I wanted to see how well the installation and quality held up after some time.  Well two years have past, the one large Milgard window looks great and operates smoothly.  This year I had SGK install 7 windows and 2 patio doors.  Before that, I had single pane windows with aluminum frames from the early 80's.  
  Glass is crystal clear
  Screen is almost invisible.  I can barely see the screen through the window
  Noise reduction.  
  Temperature (hot/cold) transfer reduction.  
  Opening the windows and patio doors are smooth like butter
  Locking the patio doors are easy 
  Windows come with built in flip out security lock.  I hated those metal lock wingnut  and jam bar I used on my old windows.
  They scheduled for 1.5 days of installation time but ended up finishing in one day.  Awesome, I didn't have to take a 2nd day off work!  
  I'm looking into replacing my parents home with these windows from SGK.  I'm not sure if I should go through Costco or SGK directly for better pricing.
