  • I called Bud the day of asking if he could squeeze me in. Came to see him the same day. He worked on my wife's car and when I came to pick up her car, I dropped off mine. Both cars were done the same day and the quality of work is great! I've been going to Bud for the past 2 years and will continuing going to him with all my future cars!

  • He is just excellent. He is confident and fair with his pricing. He is very honest and knowledgeable. He has about 10 mechanics working for him and hes personally makes sure that everything is good before the vehicles leaves his shop.

  • We've been going to Hayward since 1998 because it was originally Hayward and then they closed it. We've been going to Fremont Ford since 2007. They have done all of our maintenance and all of our repairs. I don't normally take it to a dealer but they impressed me so much that all of our 5 Fords go there to get serviced, regular maintenance, oil change, and everything. The main thing is they are honest. They don't tell you something needs to be repaired. They don't make you do things that don't need to be done or they don't suggest what needs to be done sooner than it needs to be done.

  • The car was in need of service, both an oil change and tune up were needed. My car was brought in the AM just after the shop had opened. They checked my car in without any problems they wanted to know exactly what the need was and gave me a written estimate from what I told them and sent me on my way. The car was there for 2 days, before I finally called and asked when my car was going to be ready. They told me that the car was actually done yesterday, but no one had called. I went to pick up the car and the worker could not find the key for over 15 minutes. I asked if they had inspected the brakes as asked, which they had done. The overall experience would have been great if I did not have to call to find out about status of the vehicle. The professionalism where that was concerned was a disappointing, considering this was a very straight forward oil change and tune up. For this to take two days when the car was actually done and sitting there. I do not like the timeliness or the punctuality at all.

  • I got an online quote and also scheduled my appt online. I got a call from the service location the prior day to confirm the appt. On the day of the appt., a technician inspected the damage to my windshield, confirmed what I already suspected (that I would need a replacement). The wait time was 1.5 hours (I could also have utilized their mobile service if I wanted to).
    He came back in about 10 mts saying that my car actually needed a heated windhshield but the quote had been done for a regular windshield. He said they would honor the quote and provide a heated windshield. I was pleasantly surprised at this. The work was done as promised. On visual inspection everything looked OK and I drove back as promised in 1.5 hours.
    So far so good, though I am yet to test it out on a car wash. They do have a lifetime warranty. I hope I don't have to use it. Overall a very positive experience and I would highly recommend them for auto glass work in the future.
    Also it turns out the dealers will quote you a higher price but they end up sub contracting the work so it makes little or no sense to take the car to the dealer for such things (my car is pretty new which is why I considered this option)
    Unfortunately my insurance deductible is $500 which is exactly the cost of this service so I did not benefit from insurance coverage

  • They have the best prices and even offered 4 rims for the price of 3. They were knowledgable and gave me recommendations for the types of rims I might like. I ended up going with their recommendation and I didn't really care for the way that it looked. They offered to let me bring the rims back within 30 days. I decided to have them replaced right away and they were very nice about it. They also matched the tire price I found at a different retailer. I am hooked and I am now a lifetime customer. The customer service is top rated and each of the employees are equally knowledgable; which I really liked.

  • They were very helpful. They tried to do as much as they could. They explained as much as they could. They were pretty honest. They were very nice. It was a family run business. They could not resolve the problem and we had to take it to the dealer but they did fix something. They were good and honest people. We would use them in the future.

  • I have been using Dillon Tyre service for 2 years for auto repairs and regular servicing. They are very honest people and provide great service. The prices are very reasonable. They are neither pushy nor try to sell more type at all. I had a problem with my caravan with wind shield wiper. Once I couldn't turn it off. Went to one of the service shop and they were absolutely dishonest and were cheating me saying it will take $2000 to fix it. Even after I said I don't want it fixed, the guy on the phone spent 10 minutes trying to make me say yes. I took back my vehicle (he already charged $200 for opening and looking into the problem) and started calling other auto service stores. When I talked to Dillon's tyre service, he first explained my how I can stop it myself (need to unplug a switch inside the hood). When I took it to the store he said he will charge $100 to look into it. Later called me and said the parts will cost $750 and the work will cost $200. The other guy was going to rob me by $1100. When I went there, he explained I had two choices. One fix it. Second turn on turn off manually and manage it  until I make my mind to spend the amount. Given the age of my car I didn't choose to fix it, and he finished the formality with at most courtesy. In another incident when the left mirror broke, he explained Toyota don't sell the mirror alone, and I had to replace the whole mirror assembly. Again he suggested two options, get original part from Toyota, or call one of the several car junkyard and see if I can get the same part. I decided to go for the original part, and even when I suggested about down payment he didn't accept, and asked me to pay when I bring the car back when the part has arrived. They provide free wi-fi too, which is a great value for me. Also the neighboring Hertz rental car gives a great discount if the car is being serviced by Dillon.

  • This company did a very good job on the regular service and, gratefully, was able to solve the random stalling problem (stalled twice in 3 weeks). Bud, the owner, really knows cars and is glad to share his knowledge by explaining what is needed to be done. He has a well trained team of about 5 mechanics that work in a very well equipped shop. I dropped the car off in the morning and picked it up that same afternoon. Bud had the air intake valve of the fuel injection system cleaned of a carbon buildup to try and fix the stalling, but the stalling continued a few days later. I then took the car back and within 5 minutes Bud identified the problem as a faulty ignition switch that had begun to fail. Bud said that he could fix it easily but would need to change me, but he remembered that this part was on a recall for the car and recommended that I take it in to a dealer for a no cost replacement. To get it there, he told me that as long as I prevented the key from wiggling the car would be fine to drive. Following his advice, I drove to the dealership and had the ignition switch replaced under the recall at no charge. Thanks Bud..

  • They are great. It?s personal service and you can trust them. They are knowledgeable and I imagine the prices are reasonable. We take both of our cars there regularly because we want to know that our cars are going to hold up. I know I could get an oil change cheaper but when we?ve done that they?ve messed things up. I like that these people will fix the problem if they mess up; I really have a lot of faith in them. When the owner isn?t there, the guys are all very professional. They come in wearing overalls and with grease smudges but they are professional. I like going and speaking Spanish with them and talking about soccer.
