He tells you like it is and there is no running around. He is pretty positive and a nice guy. He is my kind of doctor. I have never had a problem getting in. He has a good staff. You go in and they get you in right away. They are a great staff. He is a really nice man. He basically keeps you informed. Like I said, he tells you like it is. I am walking around with knee replacements.

He is at the Institute for Joint Replacement. I often see another doctor there called Alexander Shaw. They do a fabulous job. They work on knees and hips. Their demeanour is great. They are excellent. I will continue to use their services.

I went to him years ago and he gave me some advice which I mostly followed. I had a really good connection with him and I trust him. Anybody else could have gone in and fix the knee but he wanted me to know my ability. When I entered it I couldn’t even bare a weight on it and couple of months I walked bare feet, then surgery, a month of physical therapy and then it is just a history.

He is good. We have used him for a number of years. I like his manner, gets down to the problem quickly and generally a good physician.  It can take a while to get an appointment, normally a month.  If you are seeing him on an ongoing basis it takes less time.

They were OK, but I didn't like them that much because they don't want to listen to you at all.  The doctors think they know all the answers about everything, and don't think you know anything.  They also want to give you tests, and don't tell you how much they cost, or even if it's covered by insurance.  They are not straight up and honest with you, unless you press them like hell.  I had to call my insurance provider to find out what they were going to pay.  They wanted me to have a lot of tests, as many as possible. They wanted to do tests that I didn't need, and were excessive.  I checked with my general physician, and he said the tests were excessive. They are difficult to get an appointment with, and the staff totally not friendly, D Minus!  You have to wait forever!  F's for Bedside Manner, Communication, and Effectiveness of Treatment!  No way will I use Alpine Orthopaedic again!

heinous. we waited five weeks for the privilege of being treated like garbage by the creep nurse and doctor at this practice. the nurse asked how our day was, but asked a second time, very insistently, before i had a chance to respond that it just hadn't been our best morning. she responded, "oh, that's good". ?!?!? the nurse proceeded to ask questions we had answered during the 30 minutes it took to fill out their new patient paperwork. she didn't listen to our answers to her questions, so kept asking over and over again. she has a terrible attitude towards patients and is a bully, but so is the doctor she works for. dr. john casey, the big bully, also asked questions, and interrupted every time we tried to respond. the reason people do that is they're not interested in the answer. that seems strange for a doctor with a new patient. he REFUSED to address why we were there, seeming to insist there was a joint problem which doesn't exist - we were there for a soft tissue concern. he simply refused to hear what we were saying, he made condescending remarks about two other doctors he doesn't even know, who happen to be excellent, caring, and thorough doctors, and he was terse in insisting we need to have repeat tests already performed rather than obtaining or looking at those results which already exist. that isn't fair to patients with co-pays or to insurance companies. we left, and we will never go back, not only because of the disgraceful way we were treated and the incompetence in their communication skills, but because of this: [*** Link removed ***] no WONDER he didn't want to begin with conservative treatment and seemed to be desperate to prove the need for a big, expensive surgery. his attorneys need to be paid! don't go here.

He's probably the coldest doctor I have ever met in my life. My wife got a virus from it. A viral doctor said she was lucky to beat it. It took her almost 6 months to beat the virus. I was not pleased with the service at all. You have to wait in line because he is one of the few orthopedic surgeons in the area. His staff is pretty good though. They are friendly but he is not.
