    Future Energy Savers
Solar rep Dale Groat, stop by my home on a cold call. I dont normally speak with solicitors but, on this day I allowed Dale to make his pitch. My average usage wasnt very high but, I decided to give a solar a shot anyway. As I understood, the costs/ payment on the new solar system would essentially average out to be the same amount I was paying PGE monthly. While working with the Future Solar staff I found them to be knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The process start to finish took about 4 weeks, and this included but, was not limited to the paperwork, installation, city inspections and PGE connectivity. Upon receiving my first full months PGE bill it appeared for the same period from last year, to be an estimated reduction of $140.00. However, the Net Energy Meting (NEM) charges appear to have accrued for this month and showed a balance of $80.32. So, I believe the real tell tell story regarding the cost savings will be more apparent once I receive the true-up bill in July 2020. I am looking forward to seeing what my overall costs/ savings will be once I receive my true-up bill from PGE in July 2020.

    The Solar Bros
After researching many companies, I found The Solar Bros on google last year and decided to give them a call because of all the great reviews they had. We spoke to Jacob who did a phone interview first and asked me all of the initial questions about our current usage, PG&E billing, and what our ultimate goals were for solar power. After the phone call, a home visit was scheduled about two days later where he came out and showed us a customized presentation for our house and how we could best achieve 100% solar generation for the lowest cost. The Solar Bros have industry leading panels to achieve a higher power output per panel than any other manufacturer. We were able to purchase less of their 360 watt panels than would have been necessary from a competitor with 260 watt panels. The Solar Bros also uses "micro inverters", which means each panel on the roof has it's own power inverter which makes having one central inverter unnecessary. This is great for future expansion to add more panels as central inverters can only handle a limited number of panels per unit. The Solar Bros warranty is also pretty great. They offer 25 years on both the product and power generation, claiming that their panels will still generate 60% more power at the 25 year mark than the current competitions' product. After the in-home meeting I received one more quote from another local solar company, but they could not beat the price+minimum number of panels+warranty that ultimately sold us on The Solar Bros. We did decide to purchase/finance as opposed to leasing the equipment. Once we gave approval to The Solar Bros to proceed, the loan process and inspection all happened within a week after. Initially they had told us it could be up to 6-8 weeks before our installation date, so imagine my shock when they called to schedule the installation only two weeks later! The installation crew did a great job for us. The install took two days. On day one they removed the concrete tiles where the panel mounts go, attached the panel mounting hardware to the roof, and installed the flashing around them. On day two they installed the panels, the control unit, and wired everything up. All of the workers were friendly and they were even considerate enough to cordon off our front garden area to prevent anyone from accidentally stepping in it. The city inspector came that afternoon and signed off on the work. Before they left I was shown the complete system and all of the work done; plus they assisted me with creating an account and downloading the iPhone monitoring app. The last step was to wait for authorization from PG&E to flip the switch and go live with solar! I received email notification from PG&E about five days later so I went to the garage and (unceremoniously) turned on the solar breakers to activate the system. We've been running since January 14th and it's been pretty awesome to see in the monitoring software how much power we generate vs. how much we use each day. Slightly less than a month from start to finish and an easy and professional experience from these folks!

    The Solar Bros
I had been helping my parents find a reputable solar company for their solar project. Everyone we talked to referred us to The Solar Bros so we figured we might as well give you guys a shot. I went on Angies List to check out their rating as well as to see how other customers liked their work. Everything looked great so I decided to call them and it was my BEST decision ever. I want to thank you guys personally for making this such a breeze for my elderly parents. You guys managed to describe everything in a way that understood it and they love it they tell me everyday how worth it the system is, so I might be back to get one myself! thanks again guys, I would refer anyone and everyone to you

    JG Electric
Okay, I never write reviews, but I had to this time because Seth is amazing. I moved into my house 6 months ago and the day after we moved in, our doorbell stopped working. 3 electricians later (2 of whom were through my home warranty), the doorbell still isn't working. They tried everything and they just couldn't find the transformer to fix the doorbell. In comes Seth....his first visit, he diagnosed the problem and then had to order parts. A few weeks later once the parts come in, he comes over and within 1 hour it is fixed...he solved a problem that others thought were impossible. He's my doorbell savior and it's just in time....all those trick or treaters now can ring my doorbell for some candy.....THANK YOU SETH!!! Affordable, knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly, can fix the problem - what more could I possibly ask for?

    Handyman Construction
With all the effusive praise, I was skeptical about hiring Joe Verdugo at Handyman Construction to fix and renovate my leaky master bath shower, fearing it was all just too good to be true. However, I needed the leak fixed, and his thoroughly patient examination of the problem during the initial estimate alleviated much of my reservation. He showed me his reasoned diagnosis, step by step, rather than just guessing as to the root cause of the leak. I came to find throughout our project that he is simply always that thorough. Unfortunately the house was built with several glaring faults, causing the project to be fraught with a number of delays. Throughout it all, Joe had an unceasingly upbeat attitude, friendly manner, and honest assessment about every step of the process. JV is a master of his craft, and it shows in his work on my shower. In addition, he kept me up to date with regard to every step of completion, surprise repair issues, and any unavoidable delays. I have yet to meet his equal in communication skills and willingness to adjust on the fly to unwanted surprises. I am delighted to have discovered a contractor with the integrity and pride of workmanship that JV demonstrated with his work in my home and like so many others, would not hesitate to recommend him to others or have him work on my home again.

    Gold Rush Energy Solutions
I had talked to many solar companies and specially the big names. Then i talked to Daniel from Gold Rush Energy Solutions. He was very nice and polite and listened to all my questions and explained me all the advantages of the solar system and its different options with the solar panels available in the market and the invertor systems. He was not really pushy like all other solar companies will definitely do. Once i finalized the system with them, it took 1-2 weeks only to get it approved and permits and installation. Also approval from PG&E was also very quick and my system was running perfectly as it was explained and the way it should be. Also the installation crew were very professional and finished up the job on time and also cleaned up everything and also painted the conduits and pipes used on the wall. They were professional and neat as they worked. Also the online monitoring system is working perfectly as expected. I have seen the installation for other solar systems in my neighborhood and i could see the difference. I will definitely recommend GOLD RUSH ENERGY SOLUTIONS than the big companies, as you will get good service and personal attention than the corporate service which you don't know who you are talking to and might be different salesperson every few months. I will definitely recommend to all my friends. Finally A HAPPY CUSTOMER.

    Frank's Landscaping

Frank and his team worked hard for 3 weeks to complete this project.  The front of my house was 100% lawn and devastated by the drought.  We decided early on to tear out all the concrete including the driveway and replace with stamped and colored concrete.  It looks great!  One neighbor came over and said it was like being in Disneyland, which is the look I wanted.

It was important to us to get the work done before the holidays (and hopefully the rainy season if we get rain this year).

We went a little over budget due to changes I made, additional planting and boulders that I wanted.

Franks labor and material pricing is very competitive.

There are a lot of landscapers in the bay area, not many service Tracy, which is my home.  Of those that did, most were booked up months in advance.

    ACDC ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR INC
Well it took him 2 hours to get the first fan into the dining area and the light kit did not work.. He claimed it was a bad light kit. So since the other fans were the same type he took one from them and used it. He then went on to install the other fans and the last fan he set up and told me it was set to add the light kit by plugging in 2 wires.  I took the light kit back and used the new light kit plugged the 2 wires into the fan and they did not work. He came back and got the light to work but charged me $49.95 to come back. I told him that I did not consider that fair because this comeback was to finish the  original job after I had connected the 2 wires and it did not work. He said it was a problem with the fan and kit. SO the light and fan worked for a total of 4 days and then stopped working. I called for him to come back and fix it but he said he would not until I paid the $49.95. Originally I have used him and thought he was a upfront guy but I could not recommend him now.

    SolarCity
It has been 7 months now since this process has started. and still no solar installation. i had to contact the company to find out what the status was. then a month ago i find out everything was cancelled with no formal notification. My husband found out from one of the sales rep in the Livermore CA Home Depot. So i called and the rep said bcz there has been no activity it automatically cancels and sd she would re instate it and someone will be in contact with me. What a dissappointment. No follow up calls ....unanswered questions.....no body knows whats going on. and as of today still no follow up calls of what is going on. I would not recommend doing business with this company.

Showed up on time, addressed all issues, they also "snaked" the cable from our internal "junction box" (comm. center) into my study office room, enabling me to install a cable modem and receive internet (comcast).
