    Sears Appliance Repair
    We had checked the breaker panel which was in order, before calling for repair. BUT we had not checked the plug to the outlet...it was not tight. The unit needed no repair. (Ouch!) Now we will need an electrician to replace the outlet. But the d/w does turn on. So LET THIS BE A LESSON LEARNED for anyone with a similar problem.

    It was great! Gustavo answered my phone call promptly and scheduled an appointment for the next day. He got to my house within the time schedule. In about 1 hour he diagnostic and repair my dryer. It was all done! I am very happy about it...Thanks.

    Was very knowledgeable in the work and unit,provide a detail itemized of what he was checking,ordered parts for unit and set up a return date to install new parts.
    The cost was well below of what I thought it would be and knew the refridge would be repaired properly.

    Called him and he was literally here within 20 minutes.  Fixed it on the spot.  Worth every penny having somebody that had the parts to fix it the same day without a return visit.  Perhaps i was lucky that he was available, close by and had the right parts but the way things usually go with any kind of repair..it was a nice change.  
    He was courteous, and professional.  A plus rating from me.

    Called GVC this morning because my dryer was not working and Gus called me right back and scheduled an appointment for this afternoon. Thankfully he had the part on his van to fix my dryer and was able to repair it. Same day service! Can't get any better than that! Gus was very polite, and finished the job quickly and effectively. I will definitely recommend him.

    Gus knew right away what the problem was.. He told us how much it's gonna cost and how long it would take to fix it since he had to order the parts. He came over as soon he received the parts and installed it. His work also has a 90 days guarantee which is good since our freezer didn't work properly the day after he left. He came back and fixed it with no extra charge! I'd definitely recommend him and use him again!

    I think it went great.  I have a Maytag Gemini oven with two ovens.  The lower oven wasn't working, even tho the upper oven and the burners all worked.  I send Crystal the manufacturer and model # ahead of time via e-mail after making an appointment.  With that information Crystal came prepared with parts to cover a couple of possibilities.  Thank heaven it was the igniter, the less expensive of several possibilities.   i am still amazed that Crystal was able to get in behind the oven - incredible, she must be part gymnast and part appliance technician.  
    Crystal was professional, considerate and fun to have around.  The next time something breaks around here, and you know it will, she will be the first person i call.

    I have a 14-year-old KitchenAid stand mixer that began leaking oil every time it was turned on.  KitchenAid customer service was unable to fix the problem, and no other local handyman or appliance services seemed willing to tackle the problem since it was just a tabletop appliance.  The handyman there admitted he had never worked on stand mixers before, but was willing to try to fix it.  I provided the new container of grease (I wasn't sure if they offered this as well and didn't want to take a chance that they'd need it halfway through the repair).  The mixer was fixed the next day and for $35.00 - far less than the $250 or more I'd be spending for a new mixer! This repair was performed approximately a year ago and the mixer has been running perfectly since.

    11.12.14 GVC came out to look at a few of my appliances. ��They tried to "McGyver" a part on my microwave which made it worse. ��Now vent flap flops open every time I open the microwave door. ��Awesome. ��New part needed to be ordered and I paid up front for it. ��Total cost $278.11. Was told part would be in within the next two weeks. ��Hopefully it would be fixed before the holidays?!? ��
    Called and left messages without a response from GVC.
    12.30.14 Called again and finally spoke with Gus who said the part had arrived damaged and will call me back the following week when the new part arrived.
    01.12.15 I left a ��message inquiring about the part.
    01.13.15 I called and spoke to Gus who said the part was now on back order and wouldn't arrive until the end of the week or the beginning of the following week.
    01.26.15 I left a message inquiring about the part.
    01.28.15 I called and spoke with Gus who said the part would be in on 01.30.15 and will call to schedule an appointment for install the same day if possible.
    01.31.15 I left a message inquiring about the part. ��I said if this wasn't resolved I wanted my money back.
    02.02.15 I called and spoke with Gus who said the part was in and would install in the afternoon. ��He came and installed in less than five minutes and said he was done. ��My husband looked at it and the part was not securely in place. ��Gus then spent another fifteen to twenty minutes installing the part. ��He blamed his employee for not ordering the correct part. ��He left the trash and old part for us to clean up. ��He was fairly rude while leaving our house.��
    To be fair the employee that initially came out didn't charge me to look at a couple of my appliances that hadn't worked but worked fine during the call. ��However, this hardly makes up for the completely inadequate follow up service that you get with GVC.

    She called and requested permission to come earlier than scheduled..which was granted.  She was pleasant and very professional.  She was quite qualified.  She know her trade extremely well.  She will be the first person I call whenever I have problems with an appliance.
