We were very pleased with Fernando and his crew on our outdoor renovation and have received many compliments. From start to finish they were reliable, knowledgeable, considerate, helpful, and hardworking - even though our project started durning a record heat wave this summer. Fernando offered creative ideas and solutions, along with a lot of patience in helping me select the right plants and trees. He kept every promise he made in an efficient and timely manner, while never cutting corners. He did not bid a low price only to have add ons later. He provided both quality and value with no surprises.

Eric advised us on what was most cost effective and best appearance. Every benchmark and timeline they laid out was met or exceeded. He and his team were highly professional and proactive in all communications. They did such an excellent job for a great price that we will be hiring them to do our entire backyard when it is time.

The work was completed on time and to my satisfaction but there were a few snags along the way. The crew at first was not very professional. They did not inform me each day what work was going to be performed and they did not keep me informed about their progress. I never knew when they were going to arrive nor leave. They did not clean up very well each day as I found trash and debris in my yard. I felt that they were not treating me with a "customer comes first" attitude. After complaining about this to the owners the work ethic improved greatly. I was very nervous about completing the job in the required timeframe, but Arshee (one of the owners) assured me that it would be completed and even called the water district to make sure that I would receive my rebate. He was also very responsive to my text messages. A few of plants did not survive within 30 days and he replaced them for free as part of their guarantee. Overall my yard turned out beautiful. Several of my neighbors stopped by and had nothing but compliments. I would hire this company again.

They didn't complete all of the requested tasks. I had asked for them to come back and do one part of it which they did but when they did that it kind of left a part of it unfinished. I was not 100% happy with it.

A lot of research and time went in to choosing a company to go with for our Driveway remodel. Living in an area, and owning a property that has a lot of large adult pine trees (Roots), and major property slope (Drainage) creates many concerns with construction approach, and materials. We shopped around, and received estimates from other companies (Pavers & Concrete). Ultimately we liked TJ's vision and approach to our property. He asked all the right questions, and offered some great solutions to our project.
It took much longer than expected to get HOA approval on our project. I had to keep contacting TJ to update him and Pray he could find a date soon. The instant we got approval (Monday), TJ scheduled us in and asked if we were ready to start 2 days later (Wednesday)!
TJ and his crew showed right on time Wednesday morning and went to town! These guys busted their butts with the demo and prep of our project. It took these guys 4 days to dig around roots, level the driveway, compact layers of gravel, install new drains, and finally beautiful pavers. Our house looks amazing, and we could not be happier. Quite honestly one of the best construction experiences I have ever had. If you are thinking of doing pavers, and want them done correctly, and professionally. Aloha Pavers is a must call. Thanks TJ and crew. We love our home even more now.

    Fix and Build Construction
Brett and his crew rebuilt a pergola that was suffering from severe dry rot.  This is a fairly large pergola that had custom iron panel insets.  They did a fabulous job.  We had just purchased this home and live about 1 1/2 hours away.  Brett was very responsive to my questions and a total professional throughout.  He also has a great design eye.  We told him we eventually want an outdoor kitchen and pool in the area.   He did a rough sketch of the outdoor kitchen layout.  We loved it and now know who to call when we are ready for that. I will definitely use him again.  I have several other immediate projects for him.

Dave was my initial point of contact.  He was great. Very helpful, friendly and easy to work with.  He provided excellent customer service, I just wish this was how the rest of the company worked.
The first crew arrived on time, however the foreman was over an hour late.  I was hoping to not have to take the day off to watch them but it became apparent that no one knew the plan.  I walked through with the crew and did an overview of the project.  This was my first meeting with Dieter.  It was very apparent that he had little interest in the project and no clue what was going to be done.  Dave arrived and provided them with general directions.  Then they left.  There was only one guy there who spoke a little English.  My Spanish is not good, it was very difficult communicate with the. It was also very apparent that no one had the plans that I had supplied and that there was no foreman onsite.  They would have "manager" stop by occasionally to check on the project.  The workers were getting upset with me and informed me "we know what we are doing, its just that no one told us what to do."  There were different people each day so clearly there wasn't any central person who knew the project.
As things progressed, it became very evident that if I wanted this done right, I would have to watch their every move.  I did have to go to work for a few hours and when I returned, they had messed up all of the buried conduits so, of course these had to be pulled up and redone.  They all seemed annoyed at me about this.   When they built the wall, it was not build according to the code standards that I provided and the footing sits above the ground level which I will now have to chip down to be able to hide under rocks or grass.   Rather that building the wall as one continuous structure, they built it in three sections which greatly compromises the structure of the wall.
They didn't put an irrigation pipe into the planter they built, I had to figure out how to tunnel under it and place pipe into the the planter.
They cut the concrete in the wrong place and wanted to charge me $200 extra to make a new cut to fix it.
When the stucco'ed the wall, they didn't continue the stucco to the ground level, basically a sloppy lazy job.  I did call Dave about this and he sent a guy.  However, this guy showed up out the blue without notice so  I wasn't able to be there to supervise.  As a result, they did a sloppy job, it is not smooth and the grit pattern does not match the other stucco.
During this whole process, I spoke with Dieter and expressed my concerns that there was no one who knew the project or was supervising, his response..."it seems fine, I am actually losing money on this project."  So apparently if you aren't paying a premium for a very expensive project, I should feel luck that he is "helping" me?
In the end, the project is done, I question the quality of work and I hope that I don't have problems with the structure of the wall or settling of the pavers.  Only time will tell.

Overall, it went very well. Paul was here to supervise all of the work that was done. I had a couple of little hiccups during the process. The paver people wound up destroying a small part of my yard. Paul brought the offending people back and insured the grass which had been hurt was replaced immediately. I would also say that Paul always answers his phone. I called him several times during this and never got as answering machine, he always picked up. First time tahty's ever happened to me.

I had landscaped my backyard about 7 years ago, but realized that the patio area was too small.  I had a very large grassy area, but a small patio.   I didn't want to remove the existing patio, so it was important to me that the extension looked good -and, not like an afterthought.
I had a raised patio ("Bistro") area at the back of the yard.  It didn't look good.
I also had 3 trees on my back slope that had not grown at all over the years.  I wanted to get rid of them and start over with different trees.
I met Victor and his wife at the Home/Garden Show in Anaheim.  It was a Sunday.  Victor came to my house the next day to take a look at my backyard.  He had some good ideas on how to improve my backyard.  He proposed the "Mega-Arbel" pavers - which are pavers that have varying shapes.  They almost have the look of slate.
I decided to go with the quote, and Victor's team started the next day!  I was impressed with the speed of the work.  The vast majority of the work was done in about 4-5 days.  My family was shocked to come over and see a very different back yard, when they had just been over the week before!   Victor came each day to check on progress and answer questions.  His team was respectful and also worked closely with me while working on the project.
The patio expansion draining/slope was able to be tested very shortly after installation when we had a major downpour.  We had about 15 minutes of torrential rain.    Thankfully, the drains worked great.  I feel comfortable that  if the drainage worked well with that downpour, it would work great with all of the normal rains we get during the winter.
Overall, I was very happy with the quality of the job and the speed of the work done by Victor's Team.
