  24 HOUR RESTORATION

  When putting back my condo to pre-construction status, it now looks like sh&t. The owner Bobby Ameen even walked the condo and thought it was a good job. The HOA is now hiring another to come in and fix it. For starters, the top casing on the front door was removed for work, then replaced backwards. Instead of removing and fixing, they just sanded it down. Looks so bad. I had paid a professional to remove my popcorn ceiling and do crown molding, it was beautiful, but now there is over mudding, unfilled nail holes, extreme shrink on caulking, unfixed wall from previous crown molding removal tearing the wall, and the new ceiling has uneven and chunks of mud, and because the didn't tape the ceiling or first attempt the wall, paint was over done and the flat paint doesn't cover the shiny crown paint. Wall texture, not consistent. When challenged with this, they stated I requested the texturing and all I did was ask it to be correct. So I have on one wall two types, and on others dowel marks, scrapes, sander blade marks, etc. They tried to fix things and just didn't send anyone with skills to do it. Beware, that if you don't sign the contract, the CA State Lic Board says you have no case, only the HOA in my case, as they hired 24HRC. The bonding company told me they have multiple claims against them, so don't use this company. Also, These men raised their voices at me when I challenged the quality of work as it was happening, by the general contractor Will, and the finishing supervisor Kyle. In the process of the work, they didn't protect my living quarters and the dust caused breathing issues for me. It took them 2 days to bring in a fan. AND damage to my personal things was just under $1500 in damaged personal items and they haven't reimbursed me, the attorney for the HOA is trying to get it.

  Lake Arrowhead Security

  Slow response times to calls, poor follow-up on requests to have a patrolman drive by the house to check on a potential break-in. Since the purchase of this local company by another alarm company that is based out of state, service has become very unpredictable. My main complaint is speed, slow to respond to calls and once you get through you are placed on hold.

  It actually did not turn out well. I didn't like the equipment and just returned it so hopefully I'll get a refund. They said that they would give me a refund.
  Basically, it's a self install so they sent me this kit and said go ahead and install it. It's just basically stickers. What pushed me over the edge is I have 3 kids and I had a glass break sensor. I had the alarm secured and the alarm went off saying the glass window sensor was activated meaning that the glass broke. So, I was a little concerned. It was a lot of noise at 1:00 in the morning and I had a screaming baby. I called them and said, sometimes the unit starts talking during the day and I get concerned. No one opened the door, why is it talking? They might say that the internet has gone down. I also can't see what is going on with my phone, they don't have an app.
  We didn't have the sensor for the garage yet and we had the alarm on and my husband just walked out and nothing happened. If that door sensor falls off then nothing will trigger it.
  I didn't feel like this system was very secure.

  They were terrific, they did not take shortcuts and treated the project as if they were doing their own home. I see why they get a lot of referrals - they were not the cheapest but they were competitively priced. They do outstanding work and are nice people to be around, what's not to like?

  24/7 Restoration

  I first called 24/7 due to my unexpected slab leak. Kelly was at my home with in the hour to help solve the issues associated with water damage. Kelly and Russ immediately cut away all damaged cabinets, drywall and stucco due to slab leak in my
  kitchen. Then they very professionally installed moisture drying equipment that remained for 4 days to dry out damaged area.
  They also sprayed to prevent mold issues due to water damage. They came by daily to check my home to see if the levels of moisture damage was decreasing to normal level. ****Very important to me**** every day for 4 days Kelly or Russ came at our arranged time each day. I loved how prompt and professional these guys were each and every day during a difficult time!

  When I called he said he could be there in fifteen minutes....and he was.  It took about a half an hour for him to fix the front door issues, and I was happy that he fixed other issues with the door operation that did not have anything to do with the lock on the door.  His price was higher than I thought it should be, but I was just happy that the door problems we had been dealing with for some time were fixed.  He charged $55 extra for the two items he fixed beyond the lock repair $125 that he had quoted on the phone.  It involved two four inch screws in the hinge to tighten the hinge to the casing and help level the door so it didn't rub anymore, and also crimping the metal rod that slid up to secure the stationary door (we have double front doors).  The rod had slid down and could only secure the stationary door from the bottom instead of both the bottom and top, until he fixed that issue.  So if you don't mind his basic service call cost of $125, he does good work.

He brought in two subcontractors, one was outstanding, the other was did not do great work, this is why the quality is rated a C.
