The people at Asset one were very easy to deal with. They helped me relieve allot of stress during a difficult time. They were fast and prompt and able to locate a tenant fast. I truly shopped around and believe it or not they also had the best prices around. I would not hesitate to call them again if I needed anything for my real estate needs. Highly recommend!

Fidelity has possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The company has no regard for its customer's time and does not back up its repairs. I had a refrigerator go out last year, and it took them six weeks and about 5 appointments to "fix" the refrigerator. At the time, the service technician said that the refrigerator shouldn't be fixed and a replacement should be provided instead. Fidelity decided they would rather waste my time and fix it. The refrigerator went out again in less than a year for the same issue (a seal system failure). After I paid for another service fee, the technician came out and said it was the same issue and that he recommends I just get a buy out. It's now been over a month, and Fidelity won't even give me a buy out quote. Instead, they want to send out another technician to look at the problem again, and want me to take additional time off work. Moreover, this is not the first time I have had issues with them. My water heater broke a few months ago and they played games after games and gave me a low ball number for a replacement and did not cover things that were clearly covered under the contract. Bottom line, stay away from Fidelity.

It went EXTREMELY well! Bill was so professional, so accommodating, timely, kind, patient, and wonderful he really made the whole experience super wonderful, quick and completely painless. He literally handled everything! Bill treated us like his top priority. He met us or answered our calls whenever WE could because our work schedules did not allow for the usual times and never made us feel like a burden what so ever. We even had him show us the same house a few times for paint colors and flooring options! And met us late at night when we closed escrow to give us our keys because we were so excited! I just have to mention on the first anniversary of being in our house, we received a lovely card in the mail from Bill acknowledging such. You really don't find sincere, lovely people like that anymore. I think the most important thing was how he sincerely had our best interests in mind, he really cared, and just performs his job with the highest quality and efficiency. I couldn't be more happy and would NEVER use any other realtor ever and would tell everyone if you want THE BEST, then you need Bill.

We have used Michael Cantor at  20/20 Home Inspections twice. We did not buy the first home that was inspected, but we did purchase the second home.

An inspection by 20/20 is THOROUGH.

    The dictionary defines thorough as:

Complete with regard to every detail; not superficial or partial.

Performed or written with great care and completeness.

Taking pains to do something carefully and completely.

This is what you will get with their home inspection service.

I could not be more pleased with their service. Do not expect a two or three hour inspection for your hard earned cash. If I remember correctly, our last inspection of a 68 year old house took six hours, and it was worth it. That was six hours of constant work, no lollygagging or excessive break times for chit chat.

Michael was generous with his description of areas of concern, shared past experience as a guideline of what we may expect from a specific condition if left unresolved, professional, friendly and acted as a realtor mentioned, "he acted as if he had a high level of standard to uphold".

We received his comprehensive report in one day. Included were many photos, allowing us to go back later to accurately revisit areas of concern.

The report that was provided is a valuable document for us as homeowners to be aware of and track potential problem areas, undoubtedly saving us from more expensive repairs down the road. We didn't feel that the report was to be used as a tool to extract concessions from the seller, it is a tool to gain a very complete understanding of the condition of your potential home and investment.

If someone owned their home for a long time, I could see them using this service to check up on the their house. Kind of like giving your house a "physical examination" like you would do for yourself or your family.

If you hadn't guessed by now, I strongly recommend 20/20 Home Inspections.

Give them a call, its a good investment in your investment. And one more thing, bring a good book!

We received no compensation or discount for writing this review, I am just super pleased with their work.

    p.s. we found 20/20 through Angie's List.

We had purchased a $50 coupon for $150 worth of moving services.  I called NorthStar to see if they could help me move a couple pieces of furniture. I was told there would be a minimum fee of  around $400.  I became very frustrated and hung up.  I later posted a review giving the company an F.  I received a call back the next day from Wendy at NorthStar wanting to understand the problem and help to remedy the situation.  At that time, I realized NorthStar is actually a large moving company and not a kind of "handy man" helper type move that I needed.  Wendy offered to refund my $50 since we mistakenly bought the wrong type of service.  Wendy was very professional and I will consider using NorthStar in the future for a larger move.  They get an A for customer service and follow-up.

Joey has done many home inspections for our buyers during their purchase transactions. He is very knowledgeable about the various systems within the home, and provides a detailed and comprehensive review of the property. Joey not only knows his trade, but also provides great customer service to his clients. He takes the time to walk his clients through his observations, and address any questions they may have.  Would definitely recommend JTL Property Consultants for any of your home inspection needs.

Terry?s program seemed too complicated and fussy with too much paperwork. Also, he wanted us to do our own home inspection (and we knew that this was usually only done by buyers). He also wanted us to get the HOA paperwork up-front, rather than waiting to use the buyer?s deposit money to pay for the paperwork, like our friends had done, then paying the buyer back at close of escrow. It wasn?t looking good to us, but Terry told us that it was necessary for us to ?be ready to close escrow when we start marketing?, so he could protect us with his Sure-Close program. Sounded like marketing nonsense to us.

However, Terry came highly recommended as an honest and hard-working agent with a lot of experience and great results, so we decided to give him a try.

He worked hard with direct mail, online marketing & weekend open houses, saying that people who say ?open houses don?t sell houses? are just repeating what they heard from people talking about pre-internet times. Back then, he says, people came to open houses not knowing what they would find? no wonder most of the visitors didn?t find what they were looking for. Nowadays, the visit to the open house is the second viewing (the first one was on the internet). In fact, our home sold to an open house visitor who came in and fell in love with our home, making his first offer that Sunday night after the open house.

So, we got our home sold quickly at a higher price than ALL the other homes in the neighborhood, and we closed the fastest of any of them from when we first went on the market to having our money wired to our bank. And, we did it without people showing up to see our home at random times? almost ALL the showings were during the open houses, which did not interfere with our family life. And, as Terry pointed out, buyers also saw the other buyers who were interested in our home, which made them all even more interested, because of the obvious buyer competition. We got the highest price in the neighborhood and the fastest time to complete from ?start to bank?? what?s not to love?

Anyway, once we had our high-priced sale safely in escrow, we saw how effective Terry?s paperwork really was, because we got slammed with both a low appraisal and also the buyer?s inspector found a problem with the attic fan we had installed.

The low appraisal was automatically handled by Terry?s 95% Appraisal? 95% was close enough. Terry told us that an appraisal that is even $1 under the contract price normally restarts the whole negotiating game. Not with us, though. The appraisal was over 95%, and that settled it, even though it was thousands less than the high price Terry got us.

Likewise with the attic fan? Since Terry had the buyers remove ALL the contingencies except for the 95% Appraisal and a limited buyer re-inspection only for MAJOR defects when they signed the contract (not removing the contingencies weeks later, like most agents do), we did not have to pay the $1,600 that the buyer demanded for the attic fan.

We came out THOUSANDS ahead because of Terry?s pre-planning & good paperwork? didn?t seem ?too fussy? to us any more, not after it saved us THOUSANDS!

It is obvious that Terry (and his attorney who wrote the addendums that ?plug the holes in the Realtor contract?, as Terry puts it) know what they?re doing. In other circumstances, the buyer would have either renegotiated our sale or walked away from it, like what happened with so many of our friends. With Terry?s paperwork, the buyer couldn?t do either one. When we sold our home, it really WAS sold when the contract was signed, and ?the wheels didn?t come off? when we got BOTH a low appraisal and an inspection problem, either. Highly recommended? we tell EVERYONE about Terry & his super low-stress approach. Like he says, ?we?re NOT Costco? once it?s sold, it stays sold?.

Don?t know why EVERY agent doesn?t protect sellers like Terry does! But, in the end, it doesn?t matter why they do it the old way? just hire Terry, and don?t worry about it!

It was a pleasure to work with Junk King.  The guys could not have been nicer or more professional. I called on Friday asking for help and they were out the very next day to take away my empty boxes, packing debris and trash. My whole front yard was full of boxes and trash and they took it all away quickly and at a very reasonable rate. In fact, they even swept up my front porch and deck. It was so nice to get rid of all the empty boxes and be able to feel organized in our new home. I hope I never have as much junk as I did this weekend, but if I do, I will use Junk King.

I got them by referral from a friend of mine and I have been doing business with David for five moves now and I have given them referral. They are very responsive. I spoke directly to the owner and he took care of everything. They do great work and they are very efficient. They do not waste time and they are very professional.
