    We chose two highly rated moving companies to provide bids. After leaving the particulars of our move from a staffer, Iliya from Prodigy contacted me right away and came out to look at our property and provide a bid, which he did before he left.
    He also was very patient in answering all of my questions - and there were many!
    We divided our move into three separate moves:
    1)  Two rooms of furniture and numerous boxes of belongings to go into storage at their facility 
    2)  The remainder of our furniture and belongings moved from Thousand Oaks to our San Diego apartment.
    3)  Storage items to be moved to our home in San Diego (when we buy it)
    We chose Prodigy over the other company for the following reasons:
    1)  Prompt service.  The other company rescheduled the estimate several times before coming over.
    2)  It took several days to get the estimate from the other company, and it wasn't done in the separate steps above as I requested.
    3)  The price was over 2X what Prodigy was charging.
    So far, Prodigy has done moves 1 and 2.  Move 3 will happen when we buy a house in San Diego County.  Iliya offered money -saving tips:
    1) Use a local mover for the move from the San Diego apartment to the new home we are going to purchase instead of using them, as it would be more expensive.
    2)  Some boxes and packing materials were included at no extra charge, but Iliya suggested that we go elsewhere to buy extras, as it would cost less if we did.  (We ended up going to U-Haul.)
    The move from our house to storage went quickly and painlessly!
    As for the move to San Diego, we clearly weren't ready.  Although we had planned to pack most everything ourselves, we underestimated how much stuff we had!  We decided to leave the washer, dryer and refrigerator that we originally planned to put in storage, but we still had so much more to pack.  Our crew - Ezequiel, Lalo, Lalo Jr. and David - went to work and really hustled!  Wrapping dishes and glassware, wrapping items sturdily, putting boxes together at lightning speed - they had the rest of our 2400+ square foot home's contents packed and on the truck in less than three hours!
    By the time I arrived at our new apartment for the walk-through, the movers were already there and waiting!  All I had to do was tell them which furniture went into which room, and they laid out the furniture in the best possible places, as by this point I was way too tired to make those decisions!  :-)
    In the meantime, they moved their truck several times for neighbors to get through, and were pleasant and accommodating to everyone.
    And the best part?  They didn't break anything.  They didn't track anything onto the carpets.  It all went as smoothly as it could, even though we weren't ready, thanks to these four guys!!!!

    We were told they would talk to the inventory department and see what could be done to get us the needed paperwork. I demanded that it be sent overnight and was told that the manager couldn't make any promises.

    I filed a claim for damages from a renter who had a lot of kids running around the house and they were recklessness,  Instead of calling to discuss the claim, the CSA adjustor without any investigation or any evidence to support their position promptly denied the claim saying the damage was "intentional".   This is clearly misrepresentation and a breach of the policy contract.   CSA Protection Services is another one of those insurance companies you cannot trust and one of the reasons why many people do not trust insurance companies.  The insurance company is Generali US Branch.  I suggest any renter or owner avoid using this company as they do not stand behind their policy and they do not provide the coverage they claim you will receive in their policy.

    The Lotus Transportation people (Alex and his team) did a fantastic job taking my group of 7 to and from the airport.  They were very accommodating in taking special requests during the reservation exchange to allow for pick up on the way to the airport at a second location on the way to the airport.   I subsequently requested a change to the flight arrival request to add a 3rd location for dropping off and the addition of a second vehicle to take one person to a different area of the city.   Alex did a great job responding to our wishes.
    The shuttle bus to take us to the airport (scheduled for 4:15 am) actually showed up a couple of minutes early.  Four of the party and their luggage was loaded on board, then we drove to the second location to pick up the other three.  All went extremely smoothly and we arrived at the airport in plenty of time to catch the flight.
    When we flew back to LAX, the driver of the van, sent to pick us up, called me on the plane right after we landed and I turned on my cell phone.  We picked up our bags and arranged for a curbside pick up moments later.  The second vehicle was delayed in picking up our single traveler, but it arrived minutes after the main party left.    The ride home was uneventful.  It took some time, but that was due to the LA traffic at 5-6 pm in the evening.
    Alex and the van drivers did an outstanding job getting us to the airport on time, as promised, and being there (more or less) to meet us and pick us up when the plane landed.
    Any additional cost for this type of service was more than off set by the manner in which the Lotus people treated us, and the lack of stress I personally experienced in getting a difficult group to the airport and back home safely.

    I made a few phone calls to work out the details of the rental. There are some legal docs you have to sign electronically. You must have proper insurance for thr rental. Then you arrange the time and date to pick up the RV. The RV was in great condition and I returned it in great shape. I got my whole deposit back. Great vacation.

    Excellent service:  arrived early and searched for us, was friendly, attentive.  We were very happy because another company a few months ago was the opposite.  We will use Air Force 1 again in the next month.  This is a company that's attentive to detail.

    Our driver, Luis Valdez, turned out to be a Thousand Oaks neighbor. He was exactly what we wanted/needed. He gets 5-stars for
    1) driving ability;
    2) attitude;
    3) work ethic
    #3 deserves more detail:
    Our trip was from LAX to Maui for 19-days. Leaving was a kick, but we came back on the red-eye. Our flight landed at 4:37am local time. We were early and we were sleep-deprived.
    Coming down the escalator to the baggage area, what I saw first was the lower half of Luis and a sign with my name--what a welcome sight!
    He got us through baggage and back home in Westlake Hills by 6:05am.

    Byron, who handled the reservations (and whom I believe is the driver), was just amazing.  He was so helpful and responsive from the initial call describing my needs, to the confirmation, billing, etc.  My VIP guest reported that he driver was punctual, provided great advance notice communications, and had a lovely and clean vehicle.
    The billing was professional and easy.  All in all, it was a terrific experience, and I would not hesitate to use the company again for VIP travel arrangements in Los Angeles.

    The person that took my reservation over the phone was rude. When I arrived to pick up my van, the person behind the dispatch counter seemed confused and disorganized. He started with the hard sell, trying to get me to buy supplemental insurance. When I made it clear that I was not interested, he was clearly not happy. He handed me the contract for the van, explained that the fuel tank was not full, and told me that I would be charged $30 plus the cost of fuel if it was not returned with the same amount in the tank. When I asked him to top off the tank before I left, he told me that he has no pump on the premises, and that I could walk if I don?t like it. The staff?s behavior was unprofessional, frustrating, and unpleasant. I got a strong feeling that I would get stuck with a big bill filled with surprise charges if I rented from this business. I?ll never go here again.

    All things considered it was a disaster for us, starting with the transportation from CA to AK, which they should have advised us to book ourselves: the first day we flew from LAX to SEA where we spent a night in a hotel, flying to ANC the next morning; had we booked our own flights we could have booked nonstops LAX-ANC & YVR-LAX. Then after arriving in Anchorage we had an uncomfortable 5-hour bus ride to the McKinley Princess Lodge. After two nights there we had another uncomfortable 5-hour bus ride to the Denali Princess Lodge. After one night there we had an uncomfortable 10-hour train ride to the ship in Whittier, AK. Jumping ahead to our return from Vancouver we had an early morning uncomfortable 5-hour bus ride from Vancouver to SEA. We were never informed that we could have booked our own flights, which would surely have been nonstops. Then on board the Coral Princess, our stateroom was a half-hour walk from the dining rooms, which wouldn't have been bad were I not disabled, which was obvious to everyone in the travel agency. No attempt was made on their part to arrange for a handicapped-accessible stateroom closer to the dining rooms. During our first meeting with our agent, I mentioned that we were interested in a stateroom upgrade. After payment we were informed that we had to inquire about upgrades on board. When we did that we were told that many travel agents told their customers that since they didn't want to have to work too hard. Other passengers told us that Princess had called them several times to offer them upgrades, but we never received any such calls or onboard upgrades. Given that travel agencies ar paid to provide services for the hefty commissions they receive, I would say that Michael's didn't do a thing for us that we couldn't have done better ourselves. I wouldn't use them to book a room in an outhouse.
