  • I found that business to be closed. BTW, I checked many of the places listed, but none could take my dog for various reasons, so you need to add that "none used" choice to your survey questionnaire. I put in "C" because all I spoke to seemed okay.

  • It was great. I've been taking my dog there since I got her four years. They are responsive, they were able to see her immediately. They recommended options for her to pass the leather ball. They were responsive and very professional and timely. The bill did run a little high.

  • Those guys are brilliant. Every once in a while we've had something complicate happen to one of these animals and they have absolutely solved the problem. They are better than better. I have actually taken my animals to other vets and had to take them back to Dr. Fryer to say, I'm sorry, I was just trying to save money. They're expensive. They fit me in when it's crazy, they do everything they can, and they love my babies. They're a busy clinic, and they're popular. They will do what they can to fit in more critical situations with pets.

  • I found that most dog walkers just think of themselves as access to the outdoors for bathroom breaks, but fortunately, Liz is much more of a companion to my "third child." She really focuses on my dogs overall health and well-being. Oscar is an older dog, but Liz's help, he has displays much more longevity in response to her attentiveness.

Liz's qualifications are second to none. She's had vast training and is highly involved with the Humane society. I've never met a more intuitive animal lover.

  • They're veterinarian is close,  honest, hardworking,  and sometimes calls you back 8 or 9 at night. He's good at following up. We've been fortunate enough to be able and request Dr. Richard Canan. The wait time is terrible. The whole healthcare field is changing. They're expensive for non educated people about their pets. What they're relying on is all these people have not any more knowledge about what they're giving them about their animals. A lot of the solo practitioners are about to retire. Sometimes we have to wait a day or two, but if it's that important I can use them. I don't know any other physicians that call in the middle or later in the evening. Not many of my colleagues do. They run their practices different than most practices I'm familiar with. They're much more metrically designated business model right now. The veterinarian reacted wonderful with my pet. He's great, knowledgeable and he listens. He is what you would want for your own pediatrician. He's current in his literature. He has a lot of knowledge about what is within the practice of special dog signs right now. He's pretty in tuned in what they just told us in studies and opinions.

  • My cats always receive excellent diagnostics and care at The Cat Doctor.  I have been taking them there for about five years now, and have always found the staff to be very professional and very caring towards my pets.  The vets that I've worked with at the Thousand Oaks office of The Cat Doctor (Dr. Lovelace, Dr. Decile, and Dr. Cody) over the years are very knowledgeable and up to date in their profession.  The shop is always very clean and welcoming, and all staff are friendly and accommodating to the needs of my cats and their owner.

  • Arrived early, which turned out to be fine, but didn't call ahead. My 21 pound dog looked like she had been trimmed with garden sheers. And there are only two prices--20 pounds and under and over 20 pounds. I was charged the same as a dog weighing 60 pounds.

  • Erin, aka "the Furry Godmother of the Conejo Valley" is without exception the best pet sitter with whom I have ever done business. I left the care of  my two dogs, cat and canary to her for five days during the month of August. She is extremely organized, extremely professional, and very, very responsible. Everything is spelled out in writing and communicated thoroughly between Erin and her clients ahead of time, so you know when you are gone exactly what she is doing for you and your pets. Then, while you are gone. Erin texts you daily photos and updates on your pets, so you have no worries as to their well being. While she was caring for my pets, it turned out to be an extraordinarily hot few days (96F). At my request, my dogs were scheduled to be walked at noon and in the evening; Erin realized that the heat was too brutal for the pups, texted me her concern, and with my okay rearranged her schedule to walk them during the cooler morning hours. All of my pets were happy, healthy, and my home was in perfect condition when I returned.
I really can not praise Erin Cariker, the "Fairy Godmother of the Conejo Valley" enough. It is so rare to find someone whom you can unreservedly trust with your pets' care; Erin is that rare person. You will not regret hiring her to care for your own pets.

  • Excellent all round. Very friendly, professional. Cats loved them. Really appreciated the SMS and pics to let us know all was okay. Brought our mail inside as well. Left a note of all they had done and about the cats for when we returned

  • My cats teeth were very difficult to extract. Dr Stephen Watase did the extractions and put him on pain medication and antibiotics. Dr Watase prescribed medications that were easy to administer and kept the kitty comfortable while he was recovering. He and his staff are very caring and followed up calling me at home to check on him for several days after his surgery. Being that my cat is older and I'm a nervous pet owner, I had lots of questions before and after the procedure. Dr Watase patiently answered all of them and even called me at home after office hours on a Saturday to check on our cats recovery. Dr Watase has been our family veterinarian for more than fifteen years and has taken care of several family pets. Over the years we have had some pets with serious health issues and thanks to Dr. Watase expertise and proactive care they thrived. I would highly recommend Dr. Watase and his kind and caring staff.
