  • It's an extremely well run office. They make the appointments and see you with a very little wait and it's handled very professionally. I started seeing her on September 2012. She is proactive. She is the one that I first saw when I had my eyes swollen and she is the one that said go to your eye doctor to make sure it's not affecting your eye. The next day she said immediately go see your eye doctor. He had gone to some convention so I called her back and she says, don't waste anytime, go right to the hospital to the emergency room. And I went there being sure that I was in the hospital for six days. Even though shingles is not a dermatology disease it's a neurology disease, but she is seeing me now just to follow up. The availability is excellent. The waiting time is 5-10 minutes and you are immediately worked on. She is thorough.

  • I made an appointment to see Dr. Hamilton for a skin lesion that I had. The woman who answered the phone gave me a couple of options for days, but said only the physician's assistant would be available. I went ahead and made the appointment; however, when I showed up for my appointment it was Dr. Hamilton who introduced himself to me and did the examination. He seemed very knowledgeable and educated me quite a bit about skin cancer. He then let me know that he would be scrapping off the lesion on this visit. This was a quick procedure and it healed very nicely. He then asked me set up a follow up examination and that he would conduct a thorough full body examination on the next visit. I did set up a next appointment and did conduct a full skin examination. I have always wanted to have this done and I feel much better now that I know a dermatologist has concluded I don't have anything to worry about at this time. I would recommend Dr. Hamilton and I will go back for any other skin abnormalities I encounter.

  • The final results were amazing. She is a gifted surgeon and knows what she is doing in all aspects of facial skin cancers.  No one knows unless I point out the spot she had to repair and the spot was at least the size of a nickel. She is thorough and knowledgeable about the entire process. If I ever have another skin cancer, I would return to her for the surgery.

  • The skin check went very well. I had a few spots that needed attention, which were handled right away. As far as my acne, I wanted a less invasive solution first - I was given a topical antibiotic. It has not worked and I will be returning to the office shortly to ramp up my medication. Since I wanted the less invasive solution I would not give the results of treatment a lower grade. The office is SO friendly and Mary Kay was great. I will go again and would recommend.

  • Dr. Woolf is hearing-impaired and reads lips. This is, in fact, why I chose to see her, as I figured someone who made it through medical school while overcoming obstacles such as this is probably smarter and harder-working than the average, as well as more compassionate.
I was pleased with my visit. Her nurse accompanies her into the examination room, probably to pick up on anything said by the patient when she's not facing the doctor! Dr. Woolf asked me to face her when I speak, so that she can read my lips. She listened to my problems, had no problem understanding me, and resolved the problem by using liquid nitrogen in a spray can to freeze off the skin tags and the keratosis on my face. She told me that I would probably have to come back for another appointment for the growth on my face, as it may need two applications of liquid nitrogen. She also did a whole body check for anything suspicious, as I requested. She found a mole on my back that could be a problem, and requested that I come back in 6 months. I was satisfied and pleased with Dr. Woolf.
The only problem I had was when my insurance was billed. The procedures--spraying my skin tags and growth with liquid nitrogen in a can--were billed as invasive surgeries. I called her office in order to find out if this was a mistake, as my insurance bills a $115copay for any type of surgery. I had to call back several times to get an answer, and the answer was that this is how they bill this procedure. So, this was a very expensive appointment, as I had to pay the $115 copay along with my $35 copay.

  • I visited Dr. Romero today for a look at a suspicious mole. She was warm, friendly, and very professional, and answered all of my questions. She removed the mole, and had it sent to the lab for examination. The procedure was pretty painless, and over in a couple of minutes. I will be waiting for the results. Since I hadn't made an appointment for a full body check, there wasn't enough time allotted to do a more in depth analysis of the entire skin surface. However, I was able to make an appointment for that check very easily, and on the way out the door, Dr. Romero offered me some sunscreen samples to go.This was a really great appointment, and I would recommend Dr. Romero very highly. Too bad that you have to see her only when something is wrong!

  • The atmosphere was professional but friendly. Both the doctor and the nurse were very pleasant. They were on time. They talked to me as a patient. I had confidence in what she was saying and what she was doing. I would get back to her.

  • He’s pretty good.  He’s thorough and easy to talk with.  He’s sharp and he’s got all of his degrees from higher end schools.  I would use his services again in the future.

  • The office is very nice and comfortable the staff was overall pleasant. There was a lot of activity at the office, but I was still in and out in about 1 hour. I was very impressed with Dr. Romero's personality and medical skills. It was very nice being seen by a Doctor that went to Harvard Medical School.

  • Dr. Woolf is very thorough. My daughter had been to another dermatologist and diagnosed with a precancerous mole on her back. That dermatologist refused to excise this mole and referred us to a plastic surgeon. My GP recommended Dr. Woolf, who did the procedure in a thorough and professional manner, leaving very little scarring on my daughter's back. Since then, we go for regular check-ups. In addition to my daughter, my husband and myself now go to Dr. Woolf for skin scans. As mentioned in a previous report, Dr. Woolf is slightly deaf but that's a complete non-issue in terms of communication. She takes her time, is professional yet warm, and we like her a lot!
