    Robert Palacios Masonry Inc
Robert and his team did a great job creating these spaces for us. I am very detail-minded, Robert was patient, listened to what we wanted and did his best to provide a great product. We get many compliments on our yard and we are very happy with the spaces that were created. His construct has been durable and is attractive. I highly recommend him.

From the start to the finish Dan was always available or on site to be sure everything was done to our satisfaction. We got a beautiful backyard and new decking around our pool. He had wonderful ideas that were well within our budget and we didn't have to lose all of our existing plants. He worked around everything that he could to create a new and beautiful backyard for us.I would recommend Day Tyson to anyone looking for quality work and an affordable price. The subcontractors that work with him are amazing as well.

    Coastal Softwash USA
When I got home from work and saw my deck, I about passed out. I was stunned at how almost brand-new it looked to me, especially on the sides of the deck that had never been cleaned. The cleaning tool was able to get very close to all corners where the deck meets the house. The redwood does exhibit a tiny amount of "feathering" (my word), meaning the wood is not perfectly smooth where little whiskers of word fibers are raised above the wood from the water pressure. Otherwise, I could not be happier!l I'll have to wait to see how the roof cleaning process went. It's early September, and we're a long way from the winter rains. I'll update this review when results are known. As I've cleaned my deck before, I feel the total price was a fair value. I'm not a young man anymore, and the technician, Steve, did a great job in removing everything from the deck and cleaning it. Coastal also sent a Thank You card indicating a donation from their profit would be made to St.Jude's Children's Hospital, one of my favorite charities. They were professional, punctual, and thorough. Can't beat that!

Daniel and his team were professional from day one. Daniel always returned calls immediately, followed though on every step of the project and was on site daily to check up on things. The crew was neat, friendly, courteous to our neighbors when they were working and worked hard everyday. Daniel gave us daily or weekly updates and finished the job on time. We now have a beautiful home that we are proud to drive up to every single day and get compliments from our neighbors and friends. I would highly recommend Daniel for your next home project!

Shay, the contractor bid $15,000 which included everything. New Trex which was poor quality trex and not the right color I wanted . The job he bid on included a large deck, concrete stairs, and railings. I chose him because I guess he appeared to be the most honest. I was totally fooled by his friendly manner. If it comes to contractors he is the worst. He is totally lacking of knowledge or hires the cheapest handymen to do his job. I paid him $7500 for the poor quality trex, the wood underneath, and frame for the stairs which all had to be rebought and reconfigured to pass city inspection . He gave me back $2500 for my guy to fix it and pass inspection. In reality I paid him $5000 to cover the wood and labor which had to be redone. He totally abandoned the job and told me to handle it . After he abandoned the job he recommended a railing guy who bought railings I believe from Home depot and painted them. He said he powdered coated them so they wouldn't rust but were rusting the first day I got them. I paid him separately from JVP , Shay.. His name is Johvani Reyes and I gave him $1500 out of the $3000 he charged me and fired him when I found out that is railings were not straight and he did not know what he was doing. I asked for $500 initially back and had my same handyman repair them. They charged me to do that and told me that they were rusting the first day I had them put in. Reyes told me that they were powdered coated but doubt if they were. I asked him for a refund and 3 times he told me he would give me $500 back and never showed up. I am now going to take him to court for the whole $1500 since his railings must have been bought from Home depot and painted and rusted. . I would never recommend JVP or anyone associated with him and would be careful if these 5 star reviews are for real or his family members and friends posted them. He should not be allowed to work again or if he does he needs to get a better crew. I have called many times to let him know that I was going to give him a bad review but that didn't seem to matter. I hate to ruin anyone's reputation but I do not want to be taken advantage of either. The photos are of the deck before the work was done but unfortunately I do not have photos of the poor quality of JVP's work but do have a beautiful finished deck and stairs from my handyman. Also the railings now need to be replaced since they are rusting.

Most of the work went extremely well with a minimum of mess. The crew showed up on time and worked steadily till quitting time. There was some damage to about 10 foot square area of the lawn due to performing some destructive tasks on the grass instead of using alternative available spaces. Daniel was an excellent project manager, being responsive to my concerns and shepherding the project through many phases.  I did have some problems that were not revealed for several months, but on contacting the company, they have agreed to resolve the issues to my satisfaction.

I took many bids from others, including those with high marks on Angie's List.  Ophir was referred to me by a friend and competitively bid on this project (and another project that is still underway).  He was also a good fit for my project - I received bids from those who just wanted to do the "big" fixes of what I needed to have done and would not take on all the minor "honey do" fixes.  I had others who only bid on the cosmetic work and did not have the breadth of skill needed for all my repairs and upgrades.  Ophir can do (and will do) it all.  He takes the time to work with you, and is extremely responsive.  I am a workaholic and often cannot take time during normal working hours to deal with issues related to this project.  Ophir is very accessible (days, nights, weekends) and makes sure any questions or issues I may have are promptly addressed.  He has helped me greatly in making choices for some of my cosmetic upgrades - I showed him pictures off the internet of things I liked, and he took the time to pre-select samples of materials targeted just to my tastes (and conveniently dropped them off for me) to help me make decisions more quickly.  The quality of work is strong - the structutral work passes the city inspections and the cosmetic work is visually clean and precisely done.  It is very apparent that the work was done by a professional.  He and his crews arrive promptly for their work, they keep the work areas relatively tidy, take care to cover and protect areas not part of the construction, and are respectful of the neighbors.  He also absorbed many of the small fixes into the bigger project, no extra charge, and worked with me to find creative and cost effective solutions for things unexpectedly uncovered along the way.  At the project outset, we worked together to document in detail the scope of work and the payment installments, including how much would be set aside pending final satisfactory completion of the job.  He brought his credentials and proof of insurance (saving me the time to go digging for that information), and during the project he carefully went back to that paperwork to clearly document payment installments against completion of certain stages in the project.  Scope changes were separately assessed, agreed upon and documented.  As unexpected complications were discovered that were part of the agreed upon scope of the project, Ophir handled these and stood by his agreed upon bid.  Overall Ophir is a consummate professional and I look forward to working with him in the future.

Danny and his crew did a great job. The job was worked on nearly every day during the construction period. The quality of the work is very high. We have and would recommend Danny and Premier Pool to our family, friends and neigbors.

All work was performed to high standards and on schedule. Company showed up on time and if there was a slight delay in arrival, they called to inform me. Problems were few and minor and were corrected promptly.   They seem to be able to do everything, always explain what they're going to do and why, provide me with choices when applicable and I trust them. They take pride in their work. This is my "go to" company when any repairs/modifications need to be performed on my property.

    LIS Remodeling and Handyman
From the time of my first contact with Julien to ask him to come and quote, the service was exceptional and my thanks go to Anna and Joanna for their courtesy and efficiency.  I am moving house and my outside decking needed to be repainted.  I  provided the paint and in the space of one afternoon, two coats of paint were applied.  Secondly, one of my bathrooms needed to have a frame surround affixed to the large mirror over the sink.  This Julien did and painted it, too. Whilst in the house, Julien checked my dishwasher which wasn't working (it still isn't but that's because it is old and needs replacing!) and unwired two of my Hi-Fi speakers ready to go into storage.   Everything was carried out smoothly and without any fuss, mess or bother.  He and his assistant just got on with it!  It is so great to find a handyman that I know I can (and will) call on again.  A million thanks.
