  • Barry, Mike and Team provided us with not only a beautiful and solidly constructed driveway and sideyards, they were also the most friendliest, insightful, and proactive professionals I have worked with in a long time. The driveway was complicated with a lot of curves and unusual angles, which required careful and thoughtful consideration of the borders and lines. In addition, it was clear that the end product would turn out very well considering how much time went into the prep work of clearing, leveling, checking the substrate quality and depth, grade and etc. Furthermore, they checked on where all the utility lines, water, gas, cable, and telephone conduits were located to make sure that they were safe and that there were no surprises given the house was built in the 60s. On the day of the pour, Barry recruited extra hands to make sure that everything went smoothly for the stamping and coloring due to short time window to complete this step. To make things more challenging (and to show what a pro Barry was), we had several days of rain (unusual for SoCal) and wind, which had to be compensated for so as not to compromise the pour. As you can see in the 'before' and 'after' pictures, the new concrete transformed the house to a much cleaner and neater appearance, not to mention reducing the dust and dirt. As icing on the cake, Barry's bid came in as one of the lowest. I should be so lucky to have the opportunity to meet another gentleman like Barry.

  • The project could not have gone any better. Ken Drake and the entire RJG Team went above and beyond in every way. I had previously met with several other foundation repair companies prior to meeting with Ken Drake. After meeting with Ken and reviewing his proposal, it was clear that RJG is truly the best company in foundation repair. Ken thoroughly read our entire 50+ page soils report the day before we met. He proposed two options for remediation of our foundation/settling issues, and reviewed the pros and cons of each. Ken also discussed the two options with the Geo-technical engineering firm that did our soils report. By the way, Ken knows all of the local engineers (Geo-technical, structural, etc), and they know and respect him. We decided to underpin the house with a continuous footing that is 4 feet deep and 18 inches thick. The plan originally called for sacrificial jacks to be installed, but the foreman Richard felt that helical piers would be safer for the crew. As a result, helical piers were used and left in place before the new footing was poured. There was no additional cost, and we ended up with the best possible foundation. The entire project took about 2 months. I have a deep appreciation for the expertise and amount of work that went into this project. Richard and the crew were highly competent, polite, and professional. RJG has been one of the best contractors I have worked with, and I highly recommend them.

  • We would recommend Eric as a contractor because there are options available they others may not see or recommend. We could always expect them to show up on time each day and Eric was there from start to finish.

  • They offered a fair price, were prompt in scheduling. Will, the owner, bent over backwards for us. He was super nice, even came out a second time to look at a place that hadn't been inspected the first time, and didn't even charge me for that visit. I really appreciated his integrity. The sellers of the home had the work done before we bought it, but I would have used this company if we had to have the work done. The company is very customer service oriented.

  • After having gone through the stressful ordeal of seeking retribution for damages caused by other contractors, I feel compelled to give credit where it's deserved. My husband and I have now dealt with 4 different contractors on various house projects, and only 2 of them produced work that didn't need to be 'fixed' afterwards. One of those contractors was Ori Sakal from ECO design - fast, excellent work and very professional the entire way through. Ori came in a little bit above cost, so we originally didn't go with him. However, we ended up regretting that decision when the contractor we chose turned out to be completely incompetent at leveling our foundation and floors. Lesson learned - you get what you pay for. And even then, sometimes you don't! But with ECO design pro, you absolutely do. These are the types of contractors we want in business.

  • I had a few contractors come out and look at my property and give bids. I felt the most comfortable with CXC (Will) so I went with him. He made the experience much better than I expected, He was excellent to work with and his crew is the best. The guys worked so hard and all of them were a pleasure to work with. I was fully informed of every thing that was going to take place and it was just as Will said it would be (no surprises. I would highly recomed Will and his crew for any foundation or slab repairs or replacement.

  • I took many bids from others, including those with high marks on Angie's List.  Ophir was referred to me by a friend and competitively bid on this project (and another project that is still underway).  He was also a good fit for my project - I received bids from those who just wanted to do the "big" fixes of what I needed to have done and would not take on all the minor "honey do" fixes.  I had others who only bid on the cosmetic work and did not have the breadth of skill needed for all my repairs and upgrades.  Ophir can do (and will do) it all.  He takes the time to work with you, and is extremely responsive.  I am a workaholic and often cannot take time during normal working hours to deal with issues related to this project.  Ophir is very accessible (days, nights, weekends) and makes sure any questions or issues I may have are promptly addressed.  He has helped me greatly in making choices for some of my cosmetic upgrades - I showed him pictures off the internet of things I liked, and he took the time to pre-select samples of materials targeted just to my tastes (and conveniently dropped them off for me) to help me make decisions more quickly.  The quality of work is strong - the structutral work passes the city inspections and the cosmetic work is visually clean and precisely done.  It is very apparent that the work was done by a professional.  He and his crews arrive promptly for their work, they keep the work areas relatively tidy, take care to cover and protect areas not part of the construction, and are respectful of the neighbors.  He also absorbed many of the small fixes into the bigger project, no extra charge, and worked with me to find creative and cost effective solutions for things unexpectedly uncovered along the way.  At the project outset, we worked together to document in detail the scope of work and the payment installments, including how much would be set aside pending final satisfactory completion of the job.  He brought his credentials and proof of insurance (saving me the time to go digging for that information), and during the project he carefully went back to that paperwork to clearly document payment installments against completion of certain stages in the project.  Scope changes were separately assessed, agreed upon and documented.  As unexpected complications were discovered that were part of the agreed upon scope of the project, Ophir handled these and stood by his agreed upon bid.  Overall Ophir is a consummate professional and I look forward to working with him in the future.

  • We had a serious drainage problem in an existing large gazebo.  The existing drain was beyond repair and digging it up would have required a much more expensive solution.  Mike suggested a large French drain in place of the existing drain opening and installed one that was 18" square and 4 feet deep, then closed with a 12" surface drain cover.  Work was neat and the surface concrete is an excellent match for the existing surface.
