  • We hired SLOmow for mastication work before fire season on our 20 acre property on a steep hill in N. County. We were very pleased with the operator who drove up with some serious heavy equipment to masticate and remove dead almond trees, brush, removal of dead tree stumps. I also needed to relocate a 15 year old fruitless mulberry tree, and push back 10+ ft. of the mountain side to create a larger backyard space. I was confident in leaving the operator as I ran errands and when I returned, I was impressed with the amount of work that he completely in such a short amount of time. He is truly a hard worker and skilled operator with years of trusted experience. I recommend Robert and SLOmow for all of your mastication and contractor needs. (805) 439.0911

  • Madrone is excellent at design (but it is expensive). The actual bids to implement came in so much higher than other bids....and honestly there is no reasonable reason as to why they charge so much for plants etc. I went on line and priced the same plants and other landscape material and they seemed to up-charge by at least 40%. My advice, hire them for design and shop the work elsewhere...

  • They did a phenomenal job! I was inpressed from the the first visit when they came to give us an estimate. Chip was incredibly professional and had extensive knowledge of of of the many trees on our property. He made money saving suggestions which we really appreciated. They were punctual, professional and thorough. They chipped up all of the limbs and placed them in a convenient location for us to use as mulch. Great Company! I would highly recommend .

  • Worker repaired a break in the line that required rerouting the underground pipe - good job. Back yard required call back for incomplete job-charged extra. Supervisor spent excess time talking on the phone and talking politics-Bad Idea.

  • These guys are now on speed dial. My husband and I hired them after receiving a free estimate to save our lawn. We were so impressed by their work, price, knowledge and communication that we had them do additional work for us that included installing a security fence for our pool. They all worked so fast and efficient that the job took half the time we imagined. Please hire these guys if you want your project done right.

  • Claif was able to meet me at my house after work which was really nice. He gave me an estimate for weed removal and removal of large concrete pieces in our back yard. He quoted me at $550, which I thought was a bit high, but he explained that half of about $200 of it was for roundup costs and disposal fees for the concrete which seemed reasonable. He gave me some thoughtful ideas about retaining wall placement, drainage, and landscaping. He seemed to have a good eye for those things. I would like to have him come back and bid on those items. I would recommend their services.

  • At first in November the work went well ~ mowing once a week and as winter progressed mowing went to twice a month. However, there was little if any lawn maintenance i.e. weed pulling for four months. A gate that he provider built and installed had to be redone because noticeable concerns regarding the gate were apparent and the work was shoddy. Our lawn maintenance became a crisis when I had to call twice to have the weeds removed and I shouldn't have to babysit a service that we are paying to have such services rendered and in a timely fashion. The provider is crisis orientated and not proactive ~ in other words the provider would rather spray herbicides every four months and then pull weeds. I really feel bad for his workers because one worker agreed in the intelligence of being proactive; these guys should really quit and form their own company. We were also going to have some extensive planting done and to have to deal with more weeds than flowers was not going to considered let alone condoned. And his story pertaining to how the herbicide worked changed three different times resulting in my research on the internet and finding that this provider does not know what he is doing but rather wants to provide the least amount of maintenance whether its due to lack of man power or he simply doesn't want to pay his workers any more than he has to. The provider touts that he has gained his knowledge from his experience at Cal Poly as a student though we are not quite sure he even graduated from Cal Poly ~nothing overtly impressive but the provider apparently manipulates this so called education as a way of proving his competency. That variable ,his so called college based knowledge ,does not premiate into reality. We had to stop progression on planned planting with the provider until there was some proof that our lawns were being maintained meaning that not only were the lawns to be mowed but that weeding would be done consistently and without me having to babysit. The provider sent us a letter AGAIN reiterating the glorification of spraying with a herbicide and that and here is a red flag "thats what he likes" Are we suppose to take that into consideration? Hmmmmm and who is paying the bill. And for goodness sakes: I have two masters degree, my husband has a undgraduate degree with several certificates so we understand how herbicides work. The provider called and again I had to tell him that we wanted our lawns maintained which meant that maintenance was to be interpreted as a VERB~ weeding was to be done weekly if that was deemed necessary but no way were we going to go through spraying cycles where there would be new weed growth all the time. It is so interesting to me that this provider just doesn't get it. The provider got extremely agitated and then proceeded to tell me that he was going to call my husband because he had a relationship with him meaning that he and my husband were both in the same networking group but the intent of the message was that the provider was going over my head. I fired him on the spot. My husband would have loved to have fired the provider him self because my husband recognized the lack of competency long before I did but because of the networking connection , he wanted to give the provider the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake. This provider over stepped the professional boundaries of not only his lack of competency regarding lawn work but in respecting his customers ~he totally forgot who is paying his salary and quite frankly he didn't like the fact that we had expectations that were not being met professionally and that he was miffed that I did not submit and then obey to what the provider liked regarding lawn maintenance and service. I especially do not want people, especially women who may need to obtain lawn maintenance service to call the provider or his company~he has no respect for the women nor does he respect his customers.

  • His integrity is beyond question.Pacific Rim Landscaping has very competetive prices. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. We had a problem with the gas line which he had done and he came back and did it but he didn't charge me anything extra.  He has a couple of workers who come and do the yard for me and since we have a relationship, I can call him and ask him to send someone over right away.

  • The project went smoothly and was completed according to the original plan. Details were explained thoroughly and shown to me in each phase of the construction. The phases were spelled out in the initial meeting so they could be easily followed and explained if necessary.

  • TM Environmental has saved our lawn; it looks healthy and beautiful all year long. From the first consultation, which included a plug test for soil type and moisture, to now, this service has been well worth the small investment every 6-7 weeks. Our turf guy Scott is an expert at what he does, and gives the lawn a once-over every time he comes out. He does not just apply the chemicals and leave. Anything that needs attending to gets done. We are thoroughly pleased with the results of this service, and have recommended it to 2 of our neighbors.
