ARoadway MovingAmazingly seamless. The entire team from their on call representatives to the drivers to the movers - were all so very professional and kind. I was very concerned about moving during a pandemic however Roadway made me feel safe and their team kept their distance, wore correct masks/gloves, and really made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know needing to do a big move w a lot of valuables.- Molly D.

ARoadway MovingI booked Roadway last minute after a failed attempt to use U-Box. Very happy with the choice I made, opting for quality and professionalism over a customer service nightmare. It was a cross-country move of a 1-bedroom apartment from New York to California. The movers arrived on time, were efficient, friendly, and ultra careful with packaging all of our stuff. A short 10 days later everything arrived in Los Angeles and was unpacked with similar ease to the packing in NYC. Communication was easy and fast -- all of this during a global pandemic. Overall 10/10 will use again if I move back to New York 😅- Marcel F.

ARoy Mathis MovingThis is an excellent moving company! I chose this company because of the great reviews, they are family owned and they have been in business for many years. From the beginning, Ava the scheduler was very accomodating. I had to change my scheduled move twice because the new house was not yet move in ready. At one point, the day I needed was booked but Ava went above and beyond and got us movers! The movers, Charro and Mario arrived early! When they were leaving the first house, the owner stopped by to drop off a third mover. He came over to ask me how everything was going, and helped the guys a little before he left, he was great! I had been living in the same home for almost 40 years. This was my first time moving and, as you can imagine I was very disorganized. The movers, Charro has over 15 years of moving experience with the same company and knew exactly what to do, he was very helpful and had great suggestions. Mario was very nice, both were great guys! I felt very comfortable knowing they were so experienced. When they arrived at the new house, they were so patient and accommodating because I was still figuring out where to put the furniture. I am very thankful for their hard work and advice. If you are moving, this is a great company with excellent customer service. I highly recommend them!- Ana P.

ANorthStar Moving CoI have moved twice with NorthStar Movers: once from LA to Irvine and once within Irvine. I was super happy that we used NorthStar in both cases. The movers were efficient, careful and polite. Nothing got damaged during either move, and moving day was stress free. Ron Cohen was our estimator for the moves, and he gave us good advice about where we could sensibly save money in preparing for moving day and what things were best left to the movers. After our first move with NorthStar, I was pleasantly surprised by the final bill as we had gotten estimates from other companies that were significantly higher.- Gregory K.

AHelpful MovingExcellent and highly recommend. Noah and Freddy were terrific. We have moved a lot...in the last 10 yrs and these guys were real pro’s. AGood Neighbors Moving CompanyExcellentcustomer service from the appointment setter Robert Mendez to the actual movers. We had an arrival time between 8:30am and 9:30 am. They arriced at 8:30 and began wrapping furniture, beds and other items as needed Their teamwork from the Foreman (Tim) and 2 additional workers (Angel and Walter) was amazing, This move was from a 3 story house with 3 flights of stairs from from bottom to top. 1 bedroom/bath on the 1st floor, 2nd floor living area Kitchen, dining room and living room There were 2 bedrooms/2 baths on the 3rd floor. Many trips were made up and down the stairs. They worked well together and had an amazing work ethic for 3 young men. Nothing was broken, beds were unassembled and re-assembled at the new condo without a hitch. They all were gracious, personable, friendly and had a great attitude. They set the bar VERY high for their Customer service- Gregory S.

AIt was quite an experience. I always moved myself before. This time I decided to hire professionals, and boy were they professional. They wrapped it. Secured it and made sure non of my property was damaged. They did not bang any walls moving stuff. Overall I couldn't be happier with my move. Great hard working guys with an amazing attitude. FThe overall service was absolutely terrible. There was high pressure to higher three movers instead of two, which was more money. I was told to move would take four to five hours and it took over eight hours. It took two and a half hours to load the truck, 15 minutes to drive, and about 5 hours to unload. The movers spent a lot of time standing around. They insulted me several times during the move stating " I had too much stiff for a single person". They damaged almost every piece of furniture they moved, with scratches, dents, and cracks. They scratched my fridge down to the metal underneath and put several dents in it. The damaged doorways and walls. They leaned heavy pictures on my TV screen without putting anything in between them to protect it which damaged the TV. They damaged the structure of both homes that they moved my furniture in and out of. They did not place my furniture where I asked them to and instead put everything in a pile downstairs. They left my back sliding door wide opened and blocked anyway to get to it to close it without climbing in and out of boxes and items of furniture. I wanted them to move me on Saturday but they Said if I moved on Saturday when it was raining they were not responsible to damages to the items or to my flooring. So I rescheduled to Tuesday and I told them I would be working virtually during that time. They assured me that everything would go smoothly and my things would be well taken care of. They are not being responsive and not giving me their insurance information. I would like to resolve this and I would like for them to contact me with a resolution.

DThe communication at the beginning was great however, decreased the day of the move when mgr. called to confirm. (they were supposed to be there between 9-10 and were late. quoted for 3 hours - everything was packed and boxed and even stated that "I made it easy for them" unfortunately they took much longer than expected which was much more costly for me. We ended up having to help load and unload in order to expedite. Still, the actual movers were nice and did their best. After going through items realizing the things were installed incorrectly (wash machine and dryer) and hoses missing for the washer dresser drawers broken- I contacted Brandon who I initially spoke with and received no response or follow up regarding missing or broken items. This is unfortunate because they were so eager to have me write a review before they left the day of the move- I felt a bit pressured - now I can see why. disappointing and more $ than I thought

DWas quoted $650 for four hours to mov 2 bedrooms, 15 miles, I paid $1600 for total move in which I as billed 10 hours, when actually work time was 9 hours. I was billed for lunch time and the time it took them to clean up their stuff and charged for the time it took to write up the bill along with another half hour that they did not even work for me. I was completely packed and ready to go with the exception of some pillows. Items just needed to be wrapped in blankets. They actually wanted a tip on top of this and made comments outside when leaving that I didn’t leave them a tip. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. My suggestion to them if they wanted a tip they should have moved more quickly and efficiently. Paid for three movers a I thought it would go faster, instead it took three men just to equal two. Two of the men constantly needed directions and had to be given instructions from there boss which took my valuable time which in turn I paid for obviously. I have moved this same home before several times in the last few years with actually more stuff then I had for this move as I was downsizing and had sold some large furniture and they took only 6 hours with two men before at less than half this price. Very disappointed.
